Chapter 8: Chapter 7- Another chance~1!?

"Even though you were the one who told us not to say anything related to these dreams, especially in front of Ethan, you just ended up saying it yourself."

Inside the same reception room where Sasha called for the meeting yesterday, the three beauties again gathered. This time it was Gisele who called for the meeting.

It was nearly six in the evening when the urgent text both Catherine and Sasha received from Gisele that something had happened, and so to meet her ASAP.

After they heard from Gisele what happened in the library, the room fell silent, and the poker expression on Gisele's face, unlike usual, started making sense.

It was only after five minutes that Catherin raised the exclamation as Gisele responded not so long after.

"...I just wasn't able to hold back when he started saying those things. It was like my mouth was speaking, but my brain wasn't commanding it. I blurted everything on the spur."

It seemed Gisele had lost all her vigor in her voice as she spoke in a solemn tone while staring at nothing constant.

Catherine sat back on the chair with a sigh of weariness as she didn't know what to do further. Fortunately, there was someone thinking at the moment about how should they should tread.

"It seems we aren't the only ones who have seen such flashes but that man too."

Catherine became startled upon hearing Sasha but not Gisele since she had some speculation about what Sasha was going to speak.

"First. How did he suddenly fall for Gisele? That's not something that Ethan, I know, would say out of the blue. And also, when you were shouting at him, he accepted all of this, right?"

Receiving Gisele's nod, Sasha draped her left leg on the other before she crossed her arms under her bosom. With a thin, evil smile, she spoke in a suspicious tone.

"Now, what might he be thinking to trap us again? The fall-in-love route? Hmmm… Did he say something after that, Gisele?"

While muttering to herself, Sasha asked in between, upon which Gisele finally moved from her place and turned toward the other two as she picked up the tea.

"He disappeared after the library. Not in class, nowhere else too. Also, his dorm was empty, as the Regulation council informed Professor Jeromy during the practical assessment. After he asked me, not to go, I didn't hear anything from him."

The hearts of all three clenched upon thinking about Ethan, especially Gisele, who had seen his saddened face for the first time.

The thought of Ethan and what he could be doing right now made each one of them troubled, but no one shared such thoughts and suppressed empathy with hatred.

It indeed was a complicated situation where no one could be honest, but their thinking flew in the same direction.

"Why are you making that face, Gisele? What you said is nothing wrong, and that man deserves this treatment. I would say he deserves more than this."

Suddenly Catherine spoke in a louder tone pulling the others' attention as she stated her mind out. She believed or wanted to believe that what Gisele told Ethan was something that could be the least as a repayment for what he had done to them.

"Indeed. I have planned various brutal things to bestow on the trash piece of humanity. My resolve to make him shed blood while I enjoy his death hasn't changed."

Clenching her fist under the table, Sasha spoke grimly as the memory of her death flashed in her retina, making her recall how she came to hate someone this much.

Even her heart wavers whenever she thinks wrong about Ethan; she would manage that. Sasha knew her heart was somehow attached to the man, that's why it was acting like that, but she was determined with her goal now.

"But have you guys thought… What if this is all just a messed Mind Manipulation spell that is working on us and making us think about a future that would never exist? Maybe someone wants us to hate Ethan; that's why they showed him killing us? I mean, you saw that world, right? Did you guys think this place would become something that we saw in those flashes?"

The room fell into dead silence as the words left Gisele. The thought of themselves getting manipulated through spells was very low but not impossible.

And as Gisele said, the world they saw in their dreams doesn't align with the reality they are living right now. That makes things even more complicated.

Suddenly, to unravel their trouble, a person came inside the room, putting the three ladies stunned in shock.

Long ashy hair tied in a rough bun with an above-average handsome face, a boy entered inside with his gaze fixed on the women before he spoke in a heavy tone.

"No, Gisele, your assumption is wrong. Those memories are true, and I, indeed, have killed all three of you."
