Chapter 64: 19

Xavier

The rain beat steadily in the windshield as Scott pulls up into the compound. The director and her servant stood by the door in their pure white clothes, they were waiting for me. I haven't been back here since I left to look for Vanessa. Not waiting for Scott to kill the engine I got out of the car, the white gravel crunch beneath me as I made my way to the house.

I know what I have to do to get them out, we have to play the part for a while. Vanessa will have to forgive me and trust me when it comes to this. The compound was where everything started and it's where it's going to end. 

"Where the fuck are my girls?" I growl at the director. 

Vanessa 

I squeeze my eyes trying to get used to the room brightness, my body weight a ton. I adjust myself on the bed taking in my surroundings. I wasn't in a hospital, I expected to wake up in a hospital room in a gown instead I had on a white dress. Did I dream the whole thing? But I didn't recognise this room. It was bright, the curtains were opened with a clear bright glass that allowed me to see the green grass outside. Everything was pure white in the room. It remained me of the countryside. The room was pretty bare except for the drawer and a white rug in the middle. 

Where the hell was I and where is my baby? 

Just as I was about to get off the bed, a door opened revealing a Xavier I didn't recognise. He was dressed in white trousers and a shirt, his face looked freshly shaven. I couldn't recognise him, he had a wide smile on his face when he made eye contact with me

"Good, you're awake." he claps his hands together

"Xavier?" I asked unsurely 

"Where the hell are we?" I look at the glass once more

"At the compound."

"Where is Amelia?" I rush out over him not hearing what he says. 

"Amelia is sane with the sisters," he says joining me on the bed. 

"Who took her?" I stare into his green eyes "and who or what are the sisters?"

"They are family?" he explained touching my hair as if I would understand. 

"Don't confuse the poor girl, my lord, she's not yet familiar." another voice enters the room startling me. WHAT THE FUCK. A woman with long white hair and a dress similar to mine, she had a massive smile attached to her creepy face. Her eyes were soft, devoid of emotions. Her skin was pale and wrinkled. 

"Who are you?

"I am Khaleesi, meaning mother head." She came closer. 

"Welcome back home Vanessa, you have been missed." My mouth was opened like a fish. What time was the alternate universe was I in? Was I dreaming? Did I hit my head too hard?"

"I know you are confused but everything will make sense soon" Xavier whispered to me.

"We much get ready to pray to our lords it is almost noon." 

"Of course," Xavier gets up offering me his hands.

Pray? Since when does he fucking pray?

"What's going on?" I stare at his hands confused, did he want me to come?

"I'm not going anywhere until I see Amelia," I need to make sure she's safe. 

"You can see your offspring when everyone else does, after prayer," Khaleesi says. Xavier's eyes pleaded with mine silently. Complying, I took his hands getting off the bed. I felt uncomfortable and awkward in the dress, there was a white slipper placed perfectly beside my bed. 

"Shall we?" Khaleesi, gestures to the door. Moving towards it, thinking what would happen if I made a run for it. 

The door leads to a wide hallway, all the doors and walls were white making it eerier. I jumped when I felt a hand on my back but it was only Xavier's. He pushes me forward, I let my feet carry me my mind thinking a thousand thoughts. 

"The people are thrilled you have decided to enjoy them for prayer," I hear Xavier say, not sure if he was talking to me. Glancing at the side of his face, I couldn't recognise him. What happened? 

"They've long awaited for you," Khaleesi adds, I could feel the smile in her voice. we turned into a large green field, rolls of people gathered together all in white. What the fuck! I could feel myself panicking, I've watched movies like this. They will end up eating or sacrificing me. 

"I can't." I push myself back trying to go back in, but Xavier grips tighten. 

"You have nothing to be scared of, I won't let anything happen to you." I wanted to laugh in his face, how many times had he told me that and look at where I was now. 

I walk slowly, Xavier right at my side. We passed a couple of people and all smiled and whispered. There was no children or young teen anywhere to be seen, just adults and elderly people. We walked to the middle and sat on the white rug. Khaleesi joined the others. Peeking at my side trying to find a fence or gate maybe, all there was were green trees and nothing else. Not even a building. 

"Our lady has been blessed with her strength back, the lords have given her back her health so she could join you all." Xavier addresses them. 

"They apologise for keeping her away from you all these years but it was for a purpose. A test you all passed and for that, you have been blessed with another." I frown at that not sure what he meant, but the people seem to because they were a few gasps. 

"When shall we cast our eyes on her," someone yells. 

"You must have patience, the blue moon will soon be upon us where we will hold the ceremony for the baby to find a mate," Khaleesi reassures them. 

"What the fuck did she just say?" I asked Xavier, I remember what Alice told me about mates. How I was chosen for Xavier.. Will they do that to Amelia? Tears build up in my eyes, I can't let her live this life.
