The next day, the time is now 8:00 am, with the sky clear and slightly cloudy. Makoto smiled

"Good, then let's continue our practice"

Hearing this, Ken appeared a little nervous. Makoto continued talking

"Okay, now you call Asanuma"

Ken gave a nod. Ken looked at his right hand which was wearing glove puppet Asanuma, then concentrated

"Asanuma, come over"

Not long after, an aura shrouded as a sharp wind appeared around Ken's body, a thick black smoke then appeared in front of him that came from this aura, the smoke was then sucked into the glove puppet Asanuma, which then also evaporated similar black smoke, which then grew thicker, spread, and grow rapidly. From behind this smoke, Asanuma emerged, this time with a height of 5 meters. Seeing Asanuma's appearance and his increase in size, Ken looked a little surprised. Asanuma looked back at Ken

“You're calling me again kid? This time it's easier for me to reach your voice”

“My mother, she was the Asanuma controller before you”

Flashback, 13-year-old Makoto is seen walking side by side with his father who appears to have a similar face to Makoto. Makoto is carrying a bucket of flowers in his hand. The two of them walked down the hospital corridor, on their right was a row of windows that led out the sunlight that coming in gently illuminates every corner of this corridor. To their left are the patient room doors. Arriving in front of one of the hospital room doors, Makoto and his father stopped in front of this room's door and started chatting with each other. Makoto's father said

"I have something to take care of first, can you take care of your mother for a while?"

Makoto smiled

"Of course, father don't have to worry"

Hearing this, Makoto's father smiled, then rubbed Makoto's head while saying

“I’ll be back soon”

Makoto's father walked away from here, Makoto then walked into the patient room.

Inside the patient room is a VVIP room of this hospital which looks quite spacious, and only for one patient, with complete life-supporting equipment. It appears a woman with long soft black hair, with a cheerful facial expression, is sitting on her patient bed, reading a book. As Makoto entered the room, this woman's attention shifted from her book and turned to Makoto. This woman smiled gently

“Welcome, Makoto”

Makoto appeared to smile too hearing that. Makoto then sat on the single chair near his mother's bed, he then said

"I brought flowers for you mother"

Makoto said happily to his mother. His mother then accepted this flower with both hands and looked happy

“Thank you, Makoto”

The two of them then talked to each other, and Makoto recounted his experiences at school enthusiastically. Makoto continues talking

"When will mom come home?"

Makoto's mother gave a forced smile

"I can't predict it, but I promise, soon I will recover"

Makoto smiled happily. But before long, Makoto's mother appeared to lose her balance for a moment, holding her forehead. Seeing his mother, Makoto looked worried

"Mother, are you okay? Let me call the doctor okay?"

Makoto's mother answered

"Sorry Makoto looks like I need to rest for a while, no need to call the doctor"

Makoto's mother then lay on her bed. Makoto's expression was sad.

Sometime later, it appears that Makoto's father enters the patient's room, and finds his wife asleep. Makoto is also sleeping on the edge of his mother's bed, while sitting on a single chair near his mother's bed, with his forearms as a pillow. Makoto's father then sat on another chair in this room. Sometime later, Makoto's mother woke up from her sleep and found her husband reading a book. Seeing his wife, Makoto's father's attention immediately shifted to his wife

"You're awake, want me to get you something?"

Makoto's mother gave a nod

“Maybe some fruit”

Makoto's father replied

“Alright, wait a minute”

Makoto's father then walked out of the room.

Not long after, Makoto then also woke up from his sleep, Makoto looked very sleepy. In front of Makoto, he noticed that an Asanuma doll was pointing at Makoto's face. Makoto's mother then said using a made-up voice to replace Asanuma's voice

“Hello Makoto, you are awake”

Makoto then realized that this doll was a glove puppet Asanuma that Makoto's mother wore on her left hand. Seeing this, Makoto replied

"What is this glove puppet, mother?"

Makoto's mother looked at the glove puppet Asanuma on her left hand

“This is the glove puppet that I like the most”

Makoto looked a little surprised. Before long, Makoto's father came back, carrying a basket of fruit in his left hand

"Looks like you guys are awake. Here, I bring some fruits"

The three of them then ate the fruit together. While eating, Makoto's mother said

Sometime later, the time showed 4:45 pm. The sky is now starting to turn yellow. Makoto and his mother arrived on the rooftop of this hospital, on the 4th floor. From up here, they enjoyed the view of the sun shining gently, with cheerful expressions on their faces. Makoto's mother said

“Makoto, there is something I want to show you”

Makoto's expression turned curious. Makoto's mother then put back the glove puppet Asanuma on her right hand, Makoto's mother concentrated, she then said

"Come, Asanuma"

Before long, a kind of wind enveloped Makoto's mother, and black smoke quickly evaporated out of glove puppet Asanuma and thickened and dispersed. From within this Smoke Asanuma appeared, but only the size of a buffalo. Seeing a huge creature in front of him, Makoto looked shocked, so he fell backward and now sat down on the floor

“Mother, what kind of creature is this?”

Makoto's mother answered

“His name is Asanuma, a wolf Yokai. I hope you two can be good friends”

Makoto still looked confused and surprised. while smiling, Makoto's mother then reached out her hand to Makoto, then help him up. Before long, Makoto's Mother's expression turned serious, but somehow, also looks sad

"There's something important I want to tell you Makoto"

"One day, please free Asanuma from his seal"

Back in the present time, Makoto, Asanuma, and Ken are on the field in front of the shrine on the hill behind the Takeru family's main house. Makoto answered
