Chapter 1: She is back.

Summer was a season of frequent thunderstorms, but for the people of Changzhou City, it was very rare to experience heavy downpours for three consecutive days like this.

Yang Xihe shuddered uncontrollably, but her trembling hands, instead of retreating, stretched out to grab the door handle. There was no fear in her eyes, only intense longing and expectation.

At that moment, she couldn't think about anything and couldn't feel anything, other than the lonely screams deep inside her heart.

She's back, She's back... She's finally back!

Big drops of tears rolled down from Yang Xihe's eyes, and her face twisted like a madman.

She grabbed the doorknob and pushed and pulled it hard twice, her eyes greedily sticking to the cat's eyes, as if the moment she looked away, the figure in the darkness would suddenly disappear.
