Chapter 24: Chapter 17

While Yu Xinyue was deep in her sleep, a man in a dark purple robe appeared from the void and floating above her chamber with his hands clasped behind his back. Seeing the little girl sleeping soundly with pursed lips, the corners of his lips curled up. Sensing his aura, the petite girl opened her eyes and disappeared from the room before appearing in front of the man. 

 

“My Lord.” She said with cupped fists while bowing towards him.

 

“Qi Xiu, have you found anything?” He said with a low voice while looking at Yu Xinyue.

 

“This subordinate is incompetent. Please punish this subordinate.” Qi Xiu said.

 

“Qi Ce will take over that matter. You guard her well.” As he said, he played with the black ring with red patterns on his thumb. His face was expressionless, and no one but himself knew what was on his mind.

 

“This subordinate understood.” Qi Xiu said.

 

After looking at Yu Xinyue for a while, he disappeared with a wave of his sleeves. Leaving Qi Zhen and Qi Xiu there.

 

“Qi Xiu, observe and report everything that happens around Miss Yu.” Qi Zhen said before disappearing from that place.

 

“This subordinate understood.” Qi Xiu said with cupped fists.

 

Qi Xiu went back to the room and looked at Yu Xinyue for a while before she returned to her bed and continued to cultivate. No one knew what she was thinking, and what her Lord was planning.

Yu Xinyue woke up when the sky was still dark and the sun had just risen. Opening her eyes, she stretched out like a cat and lay on the bed in a daze. Looking at the ceiling, she was stunned for a while, and then slowly remembered that she was accepted as a new disciple by the Blue Cloud sect yesterday.

Her hairstyle is a chic hairstyle in modern times, but for these ancient peoples, this braid hairstyle was only used by servants. So, when she was sitting in the corner of the classroom, the other disciples looked at her with contempt.

Nodding his head, Lu Zhe said, “Then we will start the class. The cultivation realm was divided into two types which are soul cultivation and body cultivation. Where the soul cultivation was divided into ten realms which are Qi Gathering, Foundation Establishment, Spiritual Sea Establishment, Spiritual Tower Establishment, Golden Core, Soul Wandering, Nascent Soul, Ensoulment, Nihility, and Ascension.”

 

“While the body cultivation was divided into six realms which are mortal flesh, soul forming, mind scattering, sarira, bone refining, and nirvana. Each realm is divided into ten minor realms. After breaking through the ten minor realms, the cultivator can break through the next major realm after passing the Lightning Tribulation.”

 

Yu Xinyue listened carefully, it was the first time she heard about the cultivation information in this world. Lu Zhe looked at the new disciples while imparting his knowledge. Most of the new disciples were dozing off since today he only impart the basic knowledge which was known by most of the disciples. 

 

He raised his eyebrows when he saw a young girl who was listening carefully to his teachings. She even takes notes. The new disciples this year are not bad, there are still some good seedlings. Although what he imparts is the most basic knowledge but without solid foundation, it will be hard to progress far in their cultivation.

 

The class went on from morning until noon. When the class was done, the disciples stood up, clasped their fists and bowed while saying, "Thank you Teacher Lu for your guidance."

 

Lu Zhe nodded and walked out from the classroom. He is indeed only their teacher. After they pass their test and become the official disciples, only then they will honor their ShiFu who later will impart them with the cultivation techniques and spells.

Quan Yi frowned and looked into Han Yu's eyes. 

 

‘His eyes were too calm, and there was no emotion at all in those emerald eyes.’

 

“Yes, ShiFu.” A young man in a blue robe came from behind his seat and clasped his fists.

 

He turned around and said, "Junior brother, this way please." Han Yu just nodded and followed Shan Yuan, leaving his 'uncle' with the sect master.

 

‘My Lord, this subordinate wishes your plan a success.’ 

 

The state teacher looked at Han Yu's back and thought.
