At the training field.

 

The new disciples stood neatly under the stage, looking at a beautiful woman standing in the middle of the stage. With her hands clasped behind her back, she looked at the new disciple and said, “Today, I, Chen YiYi, will impart the basic sword technique of our sect. Observe carefully.” Her words echoed across the vast training ground.

 

After the introduction, Chen Yiyi shook her hand, and a long sword appeared in her palm. Holding the long sword, she made a thrusting movement and the air around the platform was changing. There are spiritual qi fluctuations in the air.

She could hear the shy whispers and giggles of the female disciples around her. She raised her eyebrows and looked in the direction all the female disciples were staring at.

 

On the stone chair, a young man wearing a half black mask was sipping wine leisurely. Judging from his profile, Yu Xinyue finally understood why there was such a big commotion. With his phoenix eyes lowered, and the long eyelashes trembling like butterfly wings, he easily stirred the girl's heart.

 

His thin red lips gleamed with the wine was enough to mesmerize even a straight man to bend for him. His chin and Adam's apple are so sexy when he drinks. Not to mention his slender long fingers with distinct joints and his golden proportioned body.

 

'Tsk tsk tsk, I even drooled when I saw him. He really is my type. This is what I call a perfect body!’

 

Shaking her head, she glanced at him before turning and walked back to her room. No matter how good-looking a man is, she still has to concentrate on her cultivation so that she can return to her own world faster. It’s not worth wasting her time to admire the moon in the distance.

After a while, the corners of his lips curled up. With a wave of his sleeves, he stood up and left the place, returning to his humble dormitory room. 

 

‘There is no need to rush, I should take it slowly.’

Inside her room, Yu Xinyue sat on the bed and took out a bamboo basket full of food, a small jade bottle, and some utensils. Placing those on the table in the middle of the room, she sipped the monkey wine occasionally as she ate dinner.

 

The scent of her food and monkey wine wafted from her room and mixed into the air. Although the new disciples have just started cultivating and are still in the Qi gathering realm, their five senses have been greatly improved. Smelling the fragrance in the air, their faces changed.

Yu Xinyue was taken back when she heard her words. 

 

‘Did she take the initiative to introduce herself?’

 

Since she wants to get along with her, Yu Xinyue has no reason to ignore her. So, she smiled and said, "I'm Yu Xinyue."

 

Qi Xiu nodded and asked, “Can I buy your wine?”

 

"You want to buy this monkey wine?" Yu Xinyue asked to confirm that she heard correctly.

 

“En.”

 

Seeing that Qi Xiu was not joking, she chuckled. "Since we are acquaintances now, then I will give you something as a gift for our first meeting." 

 

Yu Xinyue waved her hand and took out an earthen jar of monkey wine from her space. The jar is big enough to hold a gallon of wine. Qi Xiu kept it in her storage ring without saying a word. At least she was able to complete the task her Lord gave her.

 

Seeing her indifferent expression, Yu Xinyue raised her brows. It is better to befriend someone who is straightforward than someone who is full of plans. When she picked up the chopsticks and continued to eat dinner, Qi Xiu placed a black jade token in front of her and said, "This is for you."

 

Yu Xinyue took the black jade token, and there was a hint of surprise in her eyes. This jade token is like a black jade coffin in her space. Although a little surprised, her expression was still calm. Keeping the black jade token into the storage ring, she took out another set of tableware while saying, "Join me."

 

They ate dinner silently, but the atmosphere was very good, and Yu Xinyue ate in a good mood. Qi Xiu, on the other hand, concentrated on eating. Her chopsticks moved so fast that she ate up the food within ten minutes.
