“These poisonous veins, is there any way to remove them from your wound?” Yu Xinyue asked while looking at the poisonous veins.

Hearing her question, Liu Feng recovered from his wandering thoughts. He cleared his throat and said, “There are ways to remove these veins, but we need to find the blue star grass or ice LingZi. Those are the natural enemies of these veins.”

“Can you describe the blue star grass and ice LingZi to me? Maybe I have it with me.” She said looking into his eyes.

Liu Feng lowered his eyes and did not look directly at her. If a guy looks directly at her, it’s bad for a girl’s reputation.

“Blue star grass grows in cold temperatures and is usually found near rivers or lakes, and its long stems glow blue. The shape of ice LingZi is the same as ordinary LingZi. But the color is crystal clear and it feels cold to the touch. If plucks from where it grew, it wilts after two hours.” He explained.

Yu Xinyue closed her eyes and searched inside her space. After a while, she opened her palm and a green grass glowed with blue light appeared in her palm.

“Is it this?” she asked while showing him the blue grass.

Seeing that she really had Blue Star Grass, Liu Feng was stunned.

“You… how can you just take it out? This blue star grass is an extremely rare spirit grass. If other cultivators know about it, it will bring you danger.”

Yu Xinyue raised her eyebrows and smiled at him.

‘This man is not bad. Not greedy and quite honest.’

“It’s alright, I have some. If it can detoxify the poisonous vein, then it serves its purpose.” She said in a casual tone.

“Then… How do you use this grass?” She asked.

Liu Feng glanced at her clear eyes and said in a low voice, “It needs to be dried and ground into powder before sprinkled on the poisonous veins. But in this place, there is no way to dry it. Therefore, we can only mash it into a paste form, mix with water and apply it to the wound.”

Yu Xinyue nodded, took out a shredder from her space and started working. Liu Feng saw her take out the tools needed for processing the herbs one by one.

‘Is she a medicine practitioner from Clear Heart Sect?’

While Liu Feng was busy guessing, Yu Xinyue had already mixed the blue star grass paste with the water in her gourd. Blue Star Grass was supposed to be dark green after turning into a paste, because it lost half of its medicinal properties. But the paste in the jade bowl is azure blue, glowing with a soft blue light, and exudes a fresh fragrance.

She didn’t know anything, but Liu Feng noticed the difference. The way he sees her has changed

‘This Fellow Daoist might be a solitude cultivator. I hadn’t seen her when I went to Clear Heart Sect before. But with her ability to retain medicinal properties, if she wasn’t a solitude cultivator, she should be an elder of a major sect.’

Yu Xinyue squatted beside Liu Feng and wanted to apply ointment to the wound, but was stopped by him.

“Fellow Daoist, I’ll do it myself.” He said with a blushing face.

She looked at him in confusion and when she remembered the environment here, she handed him the jade bowl, turned around and left.

‘How could I forget that in the ancient world men and women should keep their distance? Ay.. But, I am a doctor, ah.’

There is no gender distinction when it comes to treating patients, it’s all the same to her. After waiting ten minutes, she saw that he was still there, motionless. Afraid that he would faint again, she asked, “Young Master, are you alright?”

Liu Feng was in a predicament at this time. He finished applying the ointment and wrapped the wound with a bandage. However, his clothes were torn and tattered. He can’t show a lady his bare skin.

She didn’t hear the young man’s response so she went closer. She finally understood when she saw the young man holding his tattered clothes and trying to cover his body. She took out the clothes she had prepared before and while she spoke, she put the clothes on a small boulder beside her.

“Young Master, you can use this set of clothes.”

Liu Feng heard her footsteps getting farther and farther, turned around and picked up the clothes on the small boulder. He had never seen this design before and it looked really good. Not to mention that it uses moon jade silk as a material. He touched the clothes, then walked behind a tree to change.

Yu Xinyue turned around when she heard Liu Feng’s footsteps. Those clothes fit well, and the blue color makes him look like an elegant young master, cold and beautiful.

‘Ah, the men in this world are so handsome. He’s more handsome than those actors in my world.’

Liu Feng walked in front of her and stopped after a few steps.

“This one is named Liu Feng. Thank you, Fellow Daoist, for saving my life. May I know Fellow Daoist’s name?” He said with his fist clasped, his voice full of gratitude.

Yu Xinyue clasped her fists and said, “This one name is Yu Xinyue. It is a fate that we met here. So it is natural to lend a helping hand.”

He smiled. Although she said it in a light manner, without her help he couldn’t survive the poisonous veins. Not to mention spiritual spring water and blue star grass. He kept this kindness in his heart and promised to return it to her in the future.

“Fellow Daoist Yu, this is the dividing line between the middle and outer layers of the dark forest. May I ask what Fellow Daoist Yu is looking for?” He asked.

“I’m lost in this place and looking for a way out. Can Young Master Liu help me get out of here?” Yu Xinyue’s eyes lit up when she asked.

Liu Feng noticed that the way she addressed him was not among cultivators.

‘Is she not a cultivator?’

“It’s my honor to be able to help Fellow Daoist Yu,” He said.

Yu Xinyue finally noticed that he called her by a strange name. “This… Young Master Liu, why do you call me Fellow Daoist? You can call me by my name.”

He looked at her and checked her cultivation. From her body, he could not find a trace of spiritual qi.

‘So, she is not a cultivator. But how could a mortal come up with something like that? Only cultivators can use spiritual items. What’s going on here?

She saw him lost in thought and did not answer her question. She waved her hand in front of him and said, “Young Master Liu, please come back to the Earth.”

Hearing her strange words, Liu Feng came back to his senses. “Forgive my rudeness. It’s like this. Fellow Daoists are used as a title among cultivators.” He said looking at her expression.

“So, it’s like this. However, I’m not a cultivator. So, Young Master Liu, just call me by my name.” Yu Xinyue said.

Liu Feng nodded. “We should leave this forest before it gets dark. My spiritual qi temporarily can’t be used, so we can only walk.” He said with a hint of shame.

He is an inner disciple of Red Hall Sect and has reached the third level of Foundation Establishment Realm. Liu Feng, who has both earth and metal immortal roots, is one of the high-ranking disciples. However, at this moment, he is even worse than mortals.

Yu Xinyue nodded, not paying attention to his complicated mood and started walking on the road. Liu Feng looked at the slender woman’s delicate back for a while, then followed behind her while keeping a distance of several steps between the two.
