Chapter 2: CH. 2. Von-noka.

Two hours later...

"We are sorry for wrongly accusing you and for all the rash actions we took" the police woman spoke, with her face facing the ground, she seemed to be ashamed of all the actions she had taken.

Jack's dad was standing with his wife, who was holding two small pieces of paper in hand, likely the receipt of the zuzone stimulators.

Her two juniors were looking at her with anger in their eyes, 'damn, this crazy woman saying we, when it was only her that caused the problem' one of the police men taught.

"Don't trouble yourselves, thanks for the money, even though you were unable to give the required amount, I will manage this for now, next time when you drop by remember to carry enough money with you" mike laughed as he spoke towards the leaving policewoman.

After mike was able to stand up the policewoman asked for the, prove of purchase, which he showed to her, she then realized that she had got the wrong person. But mike didn't let her go just with a sorry, he charged them for the broken door, the cracked wall, his broken back, for searching his housing without evidence and for wasting his precious time, which could damage things in the future, so he said.

The police trio had to drop every single penny they had which wasn't enough to pay for all the damages they caused, according to mike, but he finally agreed to manage it and let them go after searching them to make sure they had dropped everything.

"Wow, dad, so you actually bought those zuzone stimulators, where did you get the money?" Jack asked.

"Why did you think we have been eating potatoes since the whole time, I have been saving most of my salary, since the day both of you were born, I wanted to surprise you guys" mike said with a dark face. "But who would have taught that the day I surprise you is the same day my back was going to break"

"Uh, sorry dad it's not like your back has truly broken, right?" Jack said with a face that made one want to slap him.

"This boy, anyway one is for you while the other is for Sandra, hope you guys enjoy it"

"Thanks dad" the two of them said.

Sandra had also arrived when the policewoman was waiting to receive an answer from her dad, she was currently still in her uniform, which was a white shirt with a blue skirt, white short socks and black pair of shoes, she had brown long hair reaching her shoulders, with an acceptable face.

"I don't need your thanks; my broken back has already rewarded me"

"But if your back wasn't broken, there is a chance that you would not be able to get all the money you collected from them, you should thank me, instead of complaining" jack said why glancing at the money in his dad's hand.

"Jack thank you for breaking my back in order to help me acquire some few amount of money, you happy now ?" Mike said as he walked to the dinning table.

Jack left for his room not after taking one of the zuzone stimulators, this was something he had always dreamed of having and now he finally had one, of course he wanted to try it out.

'Finally I have my own zuzone stimulator' he taught as he sat down on the chair, picked up the helmet and wore it on his head, then pressed the power on button at the right side of the helmet.

Suddenly the helmet's screen which was black shorn with light as it changed to a dark blue screen with the words ▶welcome to zuzone◀ written on it, ▶please wait while your features are been updated◀ a bar was shown under the text.

While the bar began to load the text continued ▶this is the first this will happen so you don't need to worry, while you are waiting, you can read the instructions for the game, if you want to say yes if not say no◀

'No' jack did not need to open his mouth to speak; the stimulator was made to connect to the soul of the user so whatever the user thinks it knows.

After waiting for ten minutes, the bar was fully loaded. His mind suddenly went blank; he could no longer see anything.

Suddenly he saw a tiny light in the darkness, the light kept on growing larger and larger, by the time the light had covered his vision, he began to feel wind, it was then he realized that he was falling.

"Ahh, somebody help me, dad" he shouted as he got closer to the ground. His body paused in the air before he reached the ground, and then slowly began to float down.

"Oh, he he, for a second I taught I was going to die" he said, while looking around. He landed at the front of a forest, at the back of him was a path leading to a town that wasn't far from him.

A tiny white light flashed at the right side of his shoulder, the light quickly took the form of a small human with wings at it back, it turn out to be a male fairy, the fairy wore a white suit, with a red tie, "welcome to zuzone, I am von-noka the fairy that will be in charge of you for now" the fairy said, it looked at jack who had an excited expression on his face, shaking it head it knew that it was going to have a hard time, this client did not even read the instructions of the game, before playing it, 'I guess, I will be answering lots of questions' the fairy taught,

"Just to be clear, before you get the wrong impression, I am not your pet, neither am i, your partner, so I will not help you when it come to battle, I am only here to record your progress" von-noka spoke again.

"Oh, I see, I taught you will be of help in battle" jack answered. "I don't see any starting equipments" jack asked with a puzzled expression.

"You haven't checked your inventory and you ask if you don't have and starting equipments, ah, why do I have too be the one in charge of you, too open your inventory you just have to say open inventory" von-noka replied while face palming himself.

"Open inventory" jack said, as a screen appeared in front of him, in the screen there were eight boxes, with seven of them empty why one of them had a knife inside it, under the box the word knife lv1 was written on it.

"Oh, just a knife" jack said, "how do I know how many gold I have, Mr. Fairy" jack asked von-noka.

"My name is not Mr. Fairy, it's von-noka, von-noka, if you just want to know how many gold you have you can just say gold count, but if you want to check you statues which also shows your gold number you say my statues" von-noka replied him.

"My statues" a screen appeared.

"I dont have any skills, how do I acquire skills?"

"you learn skills from either skills books or when rewarded by the system, you can buy skills books from towns or gain them by killing beasts von-noka answered, you also acquire gold and other items from killing beasts, this are basic things you need to know before playing zuzone, I have other things to do so I will be gone for now, when you need me, just call my name" von-noka said as his figure turned into white light and vanished.

As von-noka vanished some golden words appeared in front of jack, ▶you have been giving your first mission, kill 10 animals, the reward for the mission, you will be promoted to level 1 and will also gain a level 1 skill book, you check the mission you have been giving by saying reveal missions, this mission is available for just today, if you accept the mission complete it, if you reject say I reject◀

Jack nodded his head as he turned towards the town, I will first check the town to see if there is any information that could help me he taught as walked to the town.

The town had mostly wooden houses with a population around 500 or so.

Jack walked into the town, without any suspicion from the two guards at the gate, he wondered if they too were players or NPCS, some of the town people turned to look at him but turned back after some time, it seemed they were used to seeing people like him, coming to the town. Oh by the way, jack was wearing a brown shirt with, black pants, and a dark brown shoe, his appearance and height were the only thing that did not change as his logged into the game.

"Hey there, you seem new to this town" a young man walked towards him, as he spoke with a smile.

"Yes, I am a new player" jack replied the man.

"Oh, I see" the man said, his smile seemed to grow a little bit wider than before, "well, since you are a new player, it will be best if you join our team, if you want to level up and gain money fast it best to join a team, in other to kill stronger beasts, after all you cant tell when a strong beast will just jump out from its hiding place and attack you" the man seemed to be a gentleman, one that cold not bare to let another person suffer.
