Chapter 179: It's Not A Big Deal, But IT'S A DISASTER!

"Brother, did something happen to Xia Sha or your relationship? I could help you, you know? If you 'unwrapped me.'"

Guan Xian looked at wrapped-in-blanket-I-Could-not-move Xiao Ni with skepticism. Wrapping his arm around his chest, he tilted his head. 

"There is nothing happen between Xia Sha and me. It just- I think she took a step back from the commitment we made. What do you suggest?" he raised his eyebrow. 

"Ah- so there is a problem between you two. No wonder you look like you just lost a billion," Xiao Ni let out her tongue and teased Guan Xian. 

Guan Xian glare at Xiao Ni and fiercely tightened the blanket that wrapped her. Xiao Ni shrieked and tried to wiggle. 

"I have an idea! I have an idea! IDEA!" Xiao Ni screams to prevent Guan Xian from tightening her inside the blanket. 

"I won't believe you again. Why should I listen to you? Someone who made up her mind to marry in one hour? I rather listen to Wang Kai and learn from him. How to convince a girl to marry him in one hour?" Guan Xian replied grumpily. 

Xiao Ni silently rolls her eyes and mocks him when Guan Xian did not look at her. However, she instantly turned to Guan Xian with concern when she heard Guan Xian's frustrated sigh and groan.

"She wants to broke up?" Xiao Ni hit the nail in one shot of guess. Guan Xian's face went straight and cold immediately. Throwing himself at Xiao Ni's bed, he looked at the tall ceiling with an empty gaze. 

Xiao Ni struggle to followed Guan Xian's movement, but she also let her body lay on the bed beside him. 

"What happens?" 

The sweet and caring voice easily break inside the fort Guan Xian tried to build ever since Xia Sha asked for a breakup. A mocking smile slowly appears on Guan Xian's handsome face when he told Xiao Ni about Xia Sha and Ruan Jing Tian. 

Xiao Ni listened to him carefully. She did not stop him from talking, not even a word coming out from her mouth. It's only after Guan Xian finished talking he glance at Xiao Ni with a confused face. 

"Why don't you say a thing?" he asked. 

Xiao Ni did not look back at him. She remains to look at the ceiling with nervous gestures hidden behind her silence. Guan Xian squinted his eyes, a cold chuckle then come out from his mouth when Xiao Ni shook her head hesitantly. 

"You don't have to feel guilty. Although you create a big mess this time," Guan Xian tapped Xiao Ni's forehead since the top of her head is covered with a blanket.

Xiao Ni forced a smile, but she did not dare to stare at Guan Xian. She keeps stealing guilty glances that arouse suspiciousness from her brother. After caught Xiao Ni stealing glances for the tenth time, Guan Xian could not help himself anymore. 

Half rose from the bed, Guan Xian forces Xiao Ni to look straight at his eyes by squeezing her cheek. 

"What is it?" he pressured Xiao Ni to answer with his frown and deep voices. 

He sees Xiao Ni swallowed her saliva as if she about to confess a sin. Guan Xian started to get wary for the many time of today. He widened his eyes and pinched Xiao Ni's cheek again, with no mercy this time. 

"AHHHH!" Xiao Ni could only shout and wiggle like a worm because she could not eschew from Guan Xian. 

"What is it?" Guan Xian for the second time. 

"I WILL TELL YOU! I WILL! LET ME GO!" Xiao Ni cried out loud, hoping someone would witness her 'abusive' brother and stand justice for her. 

Guan Xian did not let go of Xiao Ni's cheek, but he did not squeeze it anymore. His heartfelt lighter when he saw Xiao Ni's glare toward him. 

"Tell me-" Guan Xian urges Xiao Ni with his baritone voice, scaring the hell out of Xiao Ni. 

Xiao Ni pursed her lips and mumbles something with low voices. She is probably cursing Guan Xian under her breath. But she quickly opens her mouth when Guan Xian's thumb started to press her cheek. 

"It's like this-" Xiao Ni took a deep breath before she blurts out the secret she hides inside. 

"Do you remember what did you promise to little Hu?" Xiao Ni asked Guan Xian with a fake calm smile. 

Guan Xian raised his eyebrow and trying to recall something about his cute little nephew from his memories. 

"I promised him a PS6-" Guan Xian answered with a quiet voice. A sudden emergency alert started to lit on his head. His mind suddenly filled with schematic possibilities.

"Has you fulfilled your promise?" Xiao Ni wrinkled her nose, trying not to surpass her urges to call Guan Xian an idiot right now. 

"I-"

"Have you?" burrito Xiao Ni titled her head, pressuring Guan Xian to answer her question directly. 

"I don't think so. I forgot about it!" Guan Xian answer honestly. 

"Hah! Brother, do you know what sin you've committed? That sin is coming for you right now!" Xiao Ni shook her head with a disappointed gaze at Guan Xian. 

"I forgot about it- I'm sorry. I'll get one for Hu Che right now. But what does it got to do with Xia Sha breaking my heart?" Guan Xian shudders in his ignorance. 

Xiao Ni clicked her tongue, enjoying her role as the smarter sister this time. -Pardon her. She usually is the one who made the mess and looks less ingenious than Guan Xian in terms of explaining series of events. So let her enjoy her moment while it lives.

"Well, what makes you think he will keep your secret when you did not fulfill your promise?"

Guan Xian: "..."

He is utterly dumbfounded and speechless as he processes every word Xiao Ni said. His face slowly changed into states of panic when he realized what chaos did he caused. 

"You know grandmother is sensitive to the drug because of her passing sister-" Xiao Ni chimed in with a quiet voice because the topic is considered taboo in the Guan family.

"Oh no! Could grandmother call Xia Sha and told her to stay away from me?! Is that why she said she isn't worthy of me?" Guan Xian sat straight and pulled Xiao Ni right away. 

Burrito Xiao Ni felt dizzy once her brother started to shake her shoulder. 

"Why don't you tell me sooner?" Guan Xian almost cried for his stupidity. 

"I was about to tell you this morning. But apparently, you are gone. I also wanted to talk to grandmother, but I promise Sienna to play. I planned to do it after I got home. And then, this matter blew up," Xiao Ni could not finish her sentence because of the guilt she felt. 

"You could call me," Guan Xian wipes his face roughly. 

"Hey! Don't blame me for your mess. You should've fulfilled your promise to Hu Che. Also, since you wanted to get married, shouldn't you bring Xia Sha to grandmother? Or you should explain her situation. At least," Xiao Ni rebuke. 

Guan Xian bought his hand over his head and closed his eyelids. If Xiao Ni describes him as some who lose a billion before, Guan Xian looks like someone who owes a billion right now. 

Burrito Xiao Ni looked at his brother quietly and suddenly blurted out a 'sorry' from her mouth. Probably because she never seen her brother this frustrated before the guilt inside her is eating her alive. 

"Big brother, I'm sorry. I should've explained things to grandmother instead of- you know, making trouble and focusing only on me. I'll try to talk to Xia Sha." 

Xiao Ni's sincere words make Guan Xian sober from his muddle thought. He looked up and shook his head slowly. 

"Hey, it's not your fault. I should not blame anyone for my stupidity. Instead, I'm thankful that you are telling me this right now," Guan Xian looked at his cute little sister and suddenly pulled her into a warm hug. 

Burrito Xiao Ni struggled under Guan Xian's embrace. She protested and wiggled to escape from the cocoon. 

"If you are thankful, you should let me out from this cocoon!" Xiao Ni shrieked. 

"Only if you help me to win Xia Sha back," Guan Xian replied. 

"FINE!"
