Chapter 3: “it’s over at last”

Dong Tian woke up... It was past afternoon around 2 or something... He looked around and found himself in the hospital lounge..

'I have inconvenience Doctor Li again' He thought as he got up from the bed..

"Little Tian you woke up" doctor Li said as he walked towards the youth who was just waking up..

"Doctor Li...xiao xiao?" He asked for her again..

"Sigh* Little Tian... Just cherish the little moments you have left with her" Doctor Li knew what he is saying would probably bring Dong Tian on the verge of crying again... And he was right... Dong Tian's eyes were red and big tears threatened to fall..

Dong Tian walked towards the room Xiao xiao was.. he reached her room and went towards her as xiao xiao whimpered at her owner coming towards her...

"Xiao xiao... Mommy's bad right... I can't even save you.. what is the use of money I have if I can't save you... You must hate me right.." he said as big drops of tears fell from his delicate doe eyes... Xiao xiao licked her owners face and put her paws on Dong Tian's face and woofed at him...

" Xiao xiao... Let's go out and take a walk alright" he said as he wiped his tear filled eyes.. he asked Doctor Li if he could take the Animal Carriere bag to which Doctor Li said yes.. 

Dong Tian stationed xiao xiao in her seat as he walked out ...he walked around the whole city... When he reached the  park which they used to visit often when both Ying Jun and Dong Tian were still in their happy days...

He released xiao xiao in the park... He was feeling very depressed as xiao xiao was not even able to walk even a bit.. he wept a little.. as time went by it soon turned dark... Dong Tian hurriedly ran towards the hospital as xiao xiao was not breathing properly.. when he reached the hospital doctor Li told Dong Tian to braise himself for the upcoming unpleasant news...

"Dong Tian.. stay with her..." He patted Dong Tian on his shoulders and went outside...

".....xiao...xiao..w..hy?" He said as uncontrollably tears gushed out of his eye sockets...

At her final moment xiao xiao licked Dong Tian's tears somehow telling him not to cry... And like that xiao xiao breathed her last...

"XIAO XIAO!!!" he screamed...

it was past midnight when Dong Tian reached his house.. he utterly broken and feeling empty.... He made a mess in the common room..

"Why...why do you all always leave me alone?? Am I not worthy of being loved?" He takes out the ring and the necklace which he always cherished and looked at it for a few moments.. suddenly he felt nothing... As if the things he cherished the most were now meant nothing to him...

His eyes void of any emotion... Lifelessly staring at everything... 

' ah right.. I knew it was long over but still countinued to hang on to the false hope..'

Dong Tian walked to the kitchen and went towards the garbage bin near the table and opened it and threw the necklace and the ring together into it.. A mocking smile across his face

' Ah so it was this easy... Did he also felt like this? How funny'

It was at this moment that everything which meant a lot to him before lost its value... He became numb to everything... But seriously, who can blame him? Like a glass his heart was also continuosly dropped until there was no intact place left...

Dong Tian packed his things, which were suprisingly not a lot... There were some of his clothes which he bought himself, his document and his credit card... As for his marriage certificate... He didn't had one anyway... So why bother... He then collected everyone of his photo from the house took a scissor and shredded them into tiny pieces and lit it on fire... He then went out of the house as he watched the place he called home for past five years burn little by little... Strangely he felt calm...

He borrowed a phone from one of the passerby who were gathering together after seeing the commotion happening..

He called Ying Jun and not suprisingly the other picked up..

"Hello?" 

"----" Dong Tian kept silent

"Hello-- wait! wait! xiao lian! I am talking to someone!"  Ying Jun said helplessly with a hint of smile in his voice... Dong Tian could hear Bai Lian laugh in the background...

"Hello? Who is it?" Ying Jun asked once again...

"....... Good for you." he hung up after saying that.

Dong Tian mocked himself for wanting to hear Ying Jun's voice last time While the latter was actually enjoying a happy time with his lover...

"..... The person who loved you unconditionally is long gone and there's no need to make yourself suffer anymore... Just like the house that burnt down, his love for you has also long burnt down" 

After saying that he turned around and left... Little did he knew that with everything else lost he unexpectedly gained a new life living inside him..

Meanwhile on the other side, Ying Jun looked at the his mobile ... After a few seconds he quietly muttered out a name in a whisper...

"Dong Tian?" 

He somehow got an intense feeling that something went wrong, that he lost something he shouldn't have lost but he quickly forget about that feeling as he was busy ' playing' with Bai Lian... if he knew that he would so terribly regret ignoring this sudden feeling in the future, he would have never ignore it..

I don't think I mentioned it before but... Umm this world has three genders, that are male, female and gers..

Gers are the male who can give birth to children but Gers are not very fertile... most Gers have a beautiful appearance but lacks the strength.... They have a cherry blossom shaped mark on their bodies...

And by now you probably have guessed it that our baby Little Tian is already pregnant for more than two months with a little bun...
