“Well, anywho, about the house we’ve prepared…”

As Dennis and Trecia arrived at the front gate of the hospital, they were greeted by the arrival of Thomas' parents, James and Caroline. The couple, dressed in modest clothing, they both bore orange-colored hair, while Caroline had freckles on her face. They had taken a long run to reach the hospital.

"Excuse us." James said, catching his breath.

"Oh, if it isn't Mr. James and Miss Caroline! This is perfect timing," Dennis exclaimed.

“We… Wanted to see Thomas, but… We are too late… It seems…” James responded.

"Indeed you are, but tomorrow is another day. Besides, let us take a seat in our carriage. There is space for all." Dennis offered.

“You have our thanks, mister Dennis.” Caroline responded.

The carriage consisted of two sections, one for the larger group and the other for two or three people. Esther and Noah were seated on the smaller side, while the rest of the group sat in the larger section. The group set off towards Dante's home.

"I must say, it is nothing short of a miraculous occurrence that both of your children have emerged unscathed." Dennis exclaimed.

“Indeed it is…” Naomi replied.

"The domiciles we have procured for you are located in the idyllic North-Western side of Castle Combe. I presume you are familiar with the two adjacent abodes that have been bestowed the title: "Les Maison des corbeaux", "The Houses of the Crow."

"Ah, yes. Those two dwellings were once earmarked for some of our employees as a form of dormitory, but those plans were ultimately abandoned. They have remained unoccupied for several years, however, they are now the ideal location to provide you with a secure and commodious residence, far removed from the dilapidated cottages occupied by the lower echelon of society."

“Hey, Dante.” Thomas proffered as he reclined, gazing at the ceiling.

"Yes, Thomas?" I responded.

“Do you think we should forgive Gabriel and Okabe for what they have done?”

“….”

"Thomas, it is a melancholy reality that all human beings are inherently dissimilar."

“What do you mean?”

Some possess the fortitude to walk into a burning inferno while others do not." I stated.

“But even so… They haven’t even thought of visiting us!” Thomas exclaimed.

"I am cognizant of that, but they were powerless in the face of inevitable despair. My wrath is reserved for those who caused you harm. Gabriel and Okabe were simply caught in the crosshairs of circumstance." I explicated.

"...But Gabriel urged me to leave you, Dante..." Thomas revealed.

“Pardon?”

“I’m serious… He wanted to run away, to leave you behind!”

“Thomas… Do not forget that you’re the one who insisted on this plan.”

“…...” Thomas responded in silence.

"I am far from being a perfect human being, but I will seek revenge. Revenge on those who hurt you on that day." I declared.

“Dante…”

“This country, this world, this life is built on absolute insignificance. Pure asymmetry. Nothing to be proud of, Thomas… I want… To change this reality…”

“How will you change this reality? These noblemen aren’t gonna just change their mind in a twist of a second…?”

“I met the Devil, Thomas.”

“The Devil? You mean the one who roams through the edges?”

I looked at Thomas as I lay down my bed. “Yes.”

“But… But… How? …When did you talk with him? And how can you prove it?” Thomas queried.

“The result of my harbor will be the only prove you will need. I am sure that he has heard my wish.”

“......” Thomas stood in silence once again.
