The next morning, Gorin stood at the doors of Huga's room. He knocked on the doors for a while but did not hear a reply.

" I'm coming in." Gorin said as he open the door and walked in. He turned around closing the wooden doors.

Huga sat on his bed, the bed sheet was over his back and he was crouching. He stared blankly at the floors. Gorin carried a plate of steaming hot boiled rice with a red sauce over it. He walked to Huga's bed and sat at the edge of the bed.

" Big brothers Gorin, I saw my parents... I saw them in my dream." Huga suddenly said with tears starting to gather in his eyes.

Gorin put the plate down on the desk and turned to face Huga.

" Do you want to tell me what happened in the dream?" Gorin said.

"I was playing with my mum and dad while grandpa was training my elder brother. I left to take something and when I returned everybody... everybody was gone." Huga said crying he wiped his nose continuing. " I went out to look for them and when I found them they weren't moving."

Gorin moved closer to Huga and touched his hair making Huga look at him with his teary eyes.

" Don't worry little Huga, I'm here." He comforted.

" You have to move on and grow up so you can make your parents proud. Don't bother about all these, I give you my word, no matter what happens the person responsible for these will surely pay for it with his life." Gorin said as Huga nodded hugging him as he kept on crying.

Ashli walked into the kitchen with a bundle of wood in hand. He dropped the wood at a corner and walked out to go join Gorin and Huga in the living room.

Gorin and Huga sat opposite each other a table in-between them. On the table were two dishes of food and Huga was eating them. Ashli walked over and sat with them.

" Here." Gorin said offering Ashli a plate of rice.

" Thanks." Ashli said as he ate.

After eating they all sat down to discuss their next course of action. Then Huga suddenly runs out of the room leaving Gorin and Ashli a little confused by his action.

A while later Huga returns with a small animal in hand. He walks back to his seat to take a seat.

" Is that the dog you talked about earlier?" Gorin asked as Huga nodded.

Earlier Huga had told Gorin that he found a dog a week ago. His parents didn't let him keep it so he hid the dog in the basement and secretly went to meet it and feed it. He said the day his parents died he went to the basement to feed it when he came out everyone was dead.

" An Ashiromi pup." Ashli said a little surprised.

" What's an Ashiromi?" Huga asked.

" An Ashiromi is a magical beast. It's name means lightning dog. When they bite their prey they can send an electric current through their fangs into the body of the prey causing death. And when they feel threatened they make their body electrifying." Ashli explained.

" Oh." Huga said.

The young Ashiromi on Huga's legs was the signature grey color of a regular Ashiromi pup. It had the streak of blue fur running from it's forehead all the way down it's back to it's fuzzy tail. It had yellow eyes with a small white eyebrow above it's eyes like a four eyed dog. It was very small and cute but also dangerous.

" Don't let it bite you 'cause it might end up killing you so be careful with it." Ashli advised as Huga nodded his head in acknowledgement.

" I think it's time we start moving." Gorin suddenly said.

" I've also been thinking that. And we could go to the nearby authorities to report them." Ashli said.

" Huga would you be okay with us leaving this place?" Gorin asked.

" Okay." Huga answered shyly.

" I propose we go to Norac city. It's the closest city to this place and there's someone there who could help us." Gorin said.

" Who?" Ashli asked curiously.

" A henc... A colleague of mine." Gorin answered.

After they had concluded to live Huga's home. Huga headed back to start packing. He walked into his room to pack his cloth and other important items. Then Ashli walks in.

" Need some help?" He asked.

" Thank you." Huga said.

Ashli helped Huga to pack the things he needed. They came out of the room and Ashli followed Huga as he walked into his parents room.

The blood on the room floor were wiped off by Ashli earlier and the room was well arranged. Huga walked to a cupboard below a mirror. He took out a ring from one of the drawers.

" Why are you taking it." Ashli asked.

" It was my mum's most priced item, I want to keep it for her so I can remember her." Huga answered sadly, a teardrop falling from his eyes. He quickly wiped his tears.

Huga then walked out of the room Ashli following suit. He walked to his grandpa's room and from the table he took a purple coloured book.

" Grandpa always loved reading this. He would always read it over and over again." Huga said.

" Do you want to take anything else?" Ashli asked.

Ashli and Huga stood facing a tree stump within the compound. An axe was on it. It's handle was a dark brownish reddish colour. It's iron blade was sharp and shined under the afternoon sun.

Huga walked over his hand on the axe trying to pull it out. He couldn't though he was too weak.

" Could you help me?" Huga asked giving up.

" No problem." Ashli said.

He walked over his hand on the axe, he managed to pull it out but it was too heavy for him so he dropped it. He wasn't strong, he had only ever practiced magic and didn't bother improving his body so he couldn't lift the axe.

At that moment, Gorin came into the house.

" Big brother Gorin can you help us lift this axe." Huga waved at Gorin.

Gorin walked over his hand on the axe.

' He'd probably not be able to lift it.' Ashli said giving a small smile.

Gorin lifted the axe off the ground with his two hands on it.

" What should I do next?" Gorin asked.

Ashli looked at him shocked.

' What the...' Ashli thought.

" How'd you become so strong?" Ashli asked.

" Through training. And besides it isn't that heavy you're probably just too weak." Gorin said.

" You didn't have to say that." Ashli said feeling hurt.

" What do you wanna do with these?" Gorin asked.

" I wanted to take it along with me." Huga said with his voice becoming lower with each word.

" Well you can't bring it along if you can't carry it. It's best if you just leave it here." Gorin said.

" But I wanted to..." Huga said.

" No buts, this thing can end up killing you, it's too heavy." Gorin said cutting him off.

" Alright." Huga said a little depressed.

" Can you help me take it to my parents room near their bed?" Huga asked.

" Fine." Gorin said carrying it and dropping it were he was told.

He left soon after. Huga knelt by the axe touching it's handle and the cold iron blade.

" One day when I'm strong enough I'll come for you Mr. Axe. Don't go anywhere." Huga said.

He used the little strength in him to push it under the desk. Huga looked quite depressed that he couldn't carry the axe with him.

" Stop being so sad , just find another thing to take with you." Ashli said noticing his depression.

Huga stood up and walked over to his parents' shelf. There was a tiny box on it. He reached out and grabbed it, holding it in his hands.

" What's in there?" Ashli asked curiously.

" It was my father's. He said it was a stone given to him by my grandma." Huga said as he opened it to reveal a stone.

The stone was black with a few holes but there weren't really anything special about it at first glance. Huga kept the stone in his pocket looking very sad.

Ashli walked over placing a hand on Huga's shoulder.

" You should go rest. Tomorrow is going to be tiresome for you." Ashli said.

Gorin sat on a rock by the river of before. He looked at the waters that flowed peacefully. He held a stone in hand and threw it at the river.
