Chapter 41: Dream

We were now on our way back to Zaira village, the sky was about to go dark, my sis was now riding the horse that carried the wagon back to the village.

About me, I was doing the guard inside the wagon, though I said I would do the guard but seemed like Princess Tama herself was the one who did that instead.

We had not been welcomed by the elves people that we rescued, they kept glaring their eyes at us during the return, I was a bit freaked out to see those.

But I had now noticed the strange about this rescue, why all of the 60 elves that got kidnapped not including the Princess were all women?

But I didn't have time to figure those things out, after killing six soldiers that had run away from the wagons, I didn't have any regret for doing that, I just felt scared, depressed and sad.

But! Now, when we were on our way to return, I regretted it a little bit.

I didn't regret helping my sis do the sniping on the hill but I regretted the soldiers that I killed from running away from the wagons.

"Sarah...we have...returned..." - My sis suddenly noticed me that we had returned to the village

Then I took a look outside a bit, I could see Zaira village very close to my eyes, if I had to look at this village from far away.

I wouldn't be able to recognize it as a village because there were so many trees covering it.

"Princess Tama had also noticed, she also peeked out of the wagon and opened a happy smile to see herself and her people were about to go home.

I saw many crowds gathering outside of the village's entrance, we were still a bit far away from them, maybe I should take out my binoculars to see closer.

Okay! I saw the village elder who was now standing along with Yura, I also saw the soldiers and villagers standing near them.

Oh! In the middle of the crowd was a man that had long orange-haired as Tama.

He looked to be very young, he was also standing along with a woman that had long blonde-haired, both of them were young.

But they looked very special for some reason, both of them were wearing red leather coats, looked to be like the rulers.

Oh! I saw that the man wore a thing that looked to be a crown on his head, both of them must be the parents of Princess Tama.

Both of them were now surrounded by the elves that looked to be their guards, they were all wearing iron armors that had green features on them, looked to be used for camouflage.

On the right shoulders of the guards were the ensigns that looked to be United States's ensigns but only had one white star in the middle of the ensign.

Then a few minutes passed, we had now finally back, Princess Tama was very excited to see her parents, she was about to run to those two to hug them, but I had stopped her.

"Princess, please take the cloth that I took from the wagon to cover your body, you are fully naked!"

Then Tama looked at me a bit then started wearing the cloth to cover her body, Tama's clothes had been torn out completely.

That maybe caused by the kidnappers but I still now didn't know why they had to do that with her.

I had asked my sis about that but she kept silent, even said to me that I should not know about it, so we had to keep the other elves behind the wagon to bring Tama to her parents first.

"Just slowly, Princess! Just slowly!" - I and my sis held Tama's hands and started walking with her out of the wagon

Then I saw the people were going closer to us, we also going closer to them, at the time we were both close to each other, we dropped Tama's hands out of ours, let her run to hug her parents.

"Her Highness! Her Highness has been saved!" - The elves villagers were now trying to hug Tama

"Father! Mother!" - Tama cried at the time she got into the hug of her parents

"Your Highness! We glad that you have returned safety!" - The elves' guards were now doing a military salute to Tama

But seemed like both of us were ignored, as if we didn't exist to them though we were very close to Tama's position.

I saw that my sis had opened a happy smile, I also did with her and both of us returned to the wagon to get the other elves out.

It took us a few minutes to take out the elves, they were quite not willing for us to lead them but they wanted to go by themselves.

But anyway, everything had ended successfully, the rescue mission accomplished.

The elves that were chained in their hands and their legs had been removed from the cuffs by the elves' guards.

They had sent their strongest men to swing the shining white axes that were made of materials that I didn't know down the iron chains to cut them off.

Seemed like everything was okay now! We saw that Yura had pointed her hands at us then pointed to a house that seemed to be the village elder's house, as if to tell us to go inside.

At the time we got in the house, surrounding us were the guards of the King, the Queen, Yura, the village elder and Tama, who had now fully dressed.

They were now standing next to each other near the table that had a bag that seemed to be contained the money inside it, the bag seemed to be stuffed with quite much money.

"Oh, Sarah! What's wrong with you? Your face looks so pale!" - Yura asked me, she even held my hands, seemed to be very worried

Of course, I was now thinking back about the soldiers that I killed during the rescue.

It was so hard to forget so every time I remembered back the moment, I would be very depressed.

"I'm fine! Yura! Just, just a little tired."

"Yura, stay away from those two girls!" - A voice ordered Yura to stay away from us, it seemed to be the King's voice

"Yes, your Majesty! I'm very sorry for disturbing you!" - Yura immediately stayed away from us and went back to her previous position

That King, he looked to be very young, but if he was an elf so I wouldn't be able to know his age precisely.

Yura said to me that an elf must reach age 550 to get older so this King may be under that age.

The King was now staring at us, he took some of his breath, maybe was about to speak to us with a loud voice.

"Sajik! I know that you are not the one behind this rescue mission. These two girls have made up the mission on themselves but you said that you would take all responsibility for the risks of the mission."

"I, the Monarch of Kingdom of Jung forgive you!" - That King spoke loud while changing his direction to the village elder, so the elder was named Sajik

Then the King himself took the bag on the table that I considered to have money on it and slowly stepped toward us. His face seemed to have the deepest thank for what we did for him.

"I, the Monarch of Kingdom of Jung, Ralla Is-" - The King named Ralla was about to say his name but seemed like my sis stopped him

"I don't care about your surname, just need the name to call you." - My sis suddenly changed to her normal way of talking

"You rude! Apologize to my father immediately!" - Tama seemed very angry when my sis made a flat talk to her father

"You dare to talk like that to His Majesty!" - Some guards had taken their hands to sword's scabbards about to draw them out

"Tama, guards! Do not be rude to the heroes that saved our people, immediately halt for me!" - Ralla ordered his daughter and the guards to stay halt

Seemed like the guards and Tama herself had stopped, Ralla was now staring at us, seemed to be very appreciated for what we did to him.

"I, King Ralla of Kingdom of Jung in the name of the people of my country, gives the deepest thank to you two, heroes!"

"Please take the money for me, the money contains inside the bag is a total of 50.000.000 Elfe coins, the money that is used in our Elf continent."

"If the coins converse to Atta coins, the most valuable coin of the Human continent, will be about 5.000.000.000 Attas."

"This money is all of this Kingdom's treasury, please you two heroes take it!" - Ralla raised to us the bag of money with the deepest bow, even the bag with both of his hands

He did not need to give us that much, I even didn't know how to spend that much money for what.

"Oh! So King Ralla, you only consider your daughter's life and your people's life are just worth 50.000.000 coins?" - My sis suddenly talked to Ralla with a bad attitude, what was wrong with you sis!

"You! Guards! capture that woman immediately!" - The Queen finally spoke a word, she seemed very rage so she ordered the guards to arrest my sis, what should I do?

"Tch! Care about your daughter first, you Queen!" - My sis suddenly drew her M1911 pistol then pointed it at Tama, Tama had now terrified when she saw the that being pointed at her

"Sis, stop!" - What should I do now?

"As I said to Sajik before operating the mission, King Ralla, I do not care about the money. I care about the information, give it to me now or you will have to see your daughter lie down right here!" - My sis threaten Ralla

"So heroes, I'm so sorry to not accept your demand, I swear to the Goddess that I will tell you everything you want!" - Rall raised his right hand, seemed to accept my sis's demand

"I do not need you to talk, I need you to do!" - My sis was now pointing the pistol to Tama more tightly

"Shizu, stop! Please don't make things complicated!" - Yura told my sis to calm down

"Sis, don't scare them anymore, you don't have any intention to kill th-"

"Bang!" - A shot had been fired, I was shocked, also the people in the room, that shot just away from Tama's head about 10 inches

"Next is your daughter's head, King Ralla!" - My sis showed her deadly eyes to King Ralla

"What do you want to know, Hero?" - Ralla had now completely accepted the demand from my sis

"Sarah, speak to them! You can ask them everything." - My sis suddenly changed her direction to me, what did you want me to ask, sis?

Then slowly stepped in front of King Ralla, what should I ask him now? Ah! John! About John!

"King, King Ralla!" - Why my voice was so trembling?

"Your Majesty, there are 20 of us in this room, please order us to take out that woman for Her Highness's sake!" - One of the guards took all of his confidence to talk with Ralla, the situation was very bad now

"Oh! I don't expect your guards to be the suicide idiots, King Ralla." - Sis, please stop!

"You Hero, please calm down! Kill my daughter only causes the consequences to yourself." - King Ralla was now trying to persuade my sis

"If I have to fight with your 20 guards, I am confident that I can kill all of them in one to one fight."

"If they draw their swords to me right now, I can only kill your daughter, your wife or you before being stabbed to death by your guards." - Sis, please stop!

"Yura, I approve you to open the "eyes", now step to the hero and perform your ability." - King Ralla ordered Yura

Then I saw Yura slowly step toward me, she looked at my sis, who still now pointing the pistol at Tama then looked at me.

"Sarah, take your hand to my forehead while thinking about John Rigen." - Yura said to me then closed both of her eyes

After hearing what Yura said to me, I put my right hand on her forehead, a few seconds after that, I felt the heat, very hot that appeared on her forehead.

After the heat began to cool down from Yura's forehead, I slowly removed my hand from her, Yura now seemed a bit tired, she even sweating a bit.

"I saw a man in brown-haired, blue eyes that dresses like you two was sitting with two girls in a campfire, the red-haired one and the blonde-haired one."

"They were preparing for the dinner or something, about the forest they were staying in, it looks like Tod forest according to the book that I read about it."

"The forest that between the border of Warsaw Kingdom and Attenta Kingdom, in the human continent."

"If you two get there on foot, it might take 2 months to go, that's all I can see for you, Sarah! I hope it helps you." - Yura answered me after that, so John was still alive, I was so glad

But why did he follow those two girls? Why not men? Did he meet those two when he got lost in that forest or what? Why did I feel so frustrated when he was following girls? Ahh!

"Anything that you need to know more, Sarah?" - My sis asked me, my head was spinning around so I didn't know what to ask next

"King Ralla, I think that's all I want to know."

Then King Ralla looked at me, he seemed very glad to know, but still cautious at my sis because she hadn't removed the pistol from his daughter yet.

"You Hero over there, is there anything that you need me to let you know?" - King Ralla seemed very careful at choosing his words before talking

"During the rescue, we heard the kidnappers talk in a strange language, the language that sounded a bit similar to ours but I have struggled to understand."

"I want to know how to speak their language, also to learn the language that you elves are speaking too." - My sis seemed to have her own goal before operating the rescue

"The language that you heard the humans say during the rescue is called Englis. I know you will find it similar to yours because when I was a kid, I heard the hero that saved this world said your language."

"As your demand, you Hero! I will immediately return to the Capital city tonight to take the newest dictionary about the Englis language and also our Tuku language and give them to you as soon as possible."

Then my sis slowly lowered down her pistol, I was so glad, Princess Tama also felt the same, as same as everyone in the room.

But there was a silence that I felt so nervous, it came from the Queen, the King's wife, she just kept silent there with the bloody eyes aimed at my sis.

"Guards! Kill that woman and her sister!" - The Queen suddenly ordered the guards to kill me and my sis

I didn't have time to react, King Ralla was now very shocked, also his daughter, Yura and Sajik. The guards had now drawn their swords, about to charge toward me and my sis.

My sis suddenly returned her pistol to her gun holster and charged toward the Queen, in a blink of an eye, she had now held the Queen as her human shield.

I saw my sis use her right hand to choke the Queen while her left hand was holding the KA-BAR knife, pointing it to the Queen's throat.

"Settle down! If anyone of you steps on more step, this knife will go through your Queen's throat!" - My sis warned the guards inside the room

Then I saw a guard that was slowly stepping from behind my sis, he was about to raise his sword to slice her.

"Why don't you kill me! Huh! Why don't you slice me! Huh! You scared! You pathetic!" - My sis suddenly turned to that soldier then warned him, she even turned around to warn the others

"Okay, you Queen. I will spare you life if you apologize me, say it! Say sorry!" - My sis pointed her knife closer to the Queen

"A! A am sorre!" (I! I'm sorry!) - I heard the Queen apologize to my sis though I cannot hear what she said precisely, maybe she was chocked

"I don't hear, say louder!" - My sis even chocking the Queen's throat tighter

"Aaaa! Aaaaa! Aaaaa! Aaa! Aaaaaa! Aaaaa! Sorrrr! Sorrr! Sorrr! Reee!" - Sis! Please stop! The Queen was about to be suffocated and die

"Hero, I swear to the Goddess that if you release my wife then there will be no punishment for you, please!"

"I will pretend that nothing bad has happened in this negotiation!" - Finally King Ralla had spoken, he seemed very willing to make the swear

My sis stared at King Ralla for a long time then kicked the Queen to him.

"Tch! You lucky, bitch." - My sis said to the Queen when she released her

Then I looked around, the guards had now returned their swords to their scabbards, as the King's promise, he pretended that nothing wrong had happened during the negotiation.

The wagon that King Ralla and his family were waiting for had now come to them from outside of the village. They silently got into the wagon and were carried back to their Capital, I hoped that the King didn't hate ours.

"Shizu, Sarah, maybe you two are hungry, let's go home, this mama will prepare for you the dinner!" - Yura said to us from behind, she seemed to want to take back some mood

"Ah! Village elder, thank you for the map, I will return it to you now." - I turned back and saw Sajik, the village elder so I intended to return him the map that he lent us

"No! You hero, just keep the map! I will ask permission from His Majesty for the second one."

"I know the people here are not welcome you two but, you will be welcome here by me and Yura, please stay here as long as you like." - Sajik bowed at us, he seemed very appreciative of what we did

Then we returned to Yura's house to have dinner, while we were going on the road, we saw there were many elves villagers scolded their eyes on us.

We saved their elves people and got nothing, not even a thank, but I felt so happy that I had saved people though I had to kill 6 men.

That was the first time I killed someone, but I wondered why my sis hadn't had any regret, no hesitation, no emotion when she killed people though she didn't join in any war.

That thing made me suspect was my sis had some illness in her had or not, was my sis a crazy? But how would a woman who crazy was very caring about her relative though I and her didn't share a bloodline?

But I didn't have much knowledge to explain my sis's strange behavior. The dinner was not fun at all after what I went through but Yura kept making us have a mood, that made me feel so glad.

After the dinner, we went to sleep, Yura had let us sleep in her room and she slept in the living room, I still now cannot figure out why Yura was so kind to us.

She never told us about her parents, maybe they had died, I should not mention it to her more, it only brought pain.

I was thinking about finding John but Yura said to me that if we wanted to find him, it would take us two months to get to the forest.

If we got to the forest, John had finally got to somewhere else so maybe I would reconsider the way to find him, at least knowing he was still alive made my heart warm.

It was the second day when we got to this world, I missed my home, missed my Red Alert records, two of my superiors...so I hugged my sis very tight while sleeping.

Uh? Where I was now? I saw there was a dark saggy fog, I was lying on the ground, all dark around me.

Oh! I saw a figure, that seemed to be, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, six people who were now heading to my position, why did I feel so heavy? My body was so heavy, I cannot stand up or move.

"Anybody there? Please come out!"

Then I saw that six figures coming closer to me, wait! Those were six men, their skins were now rotten, their eyes looked so nightmare! What happened to them.

"What happened to you guys? You guys were hurt very bad?"

"You! Don't remember us! You! Killed! Us!" - Those voices shouted loud to me

Those were the soldiers that I killed! Why they were so scary? I must run! Run! Run! Run!

I cannot move! Sis! Where were you now, sis! Yura! Village elder! John!

My rifle, yeah! My rifle, it was still with me, it was now next to me, must reach it!

I can't! I can't! I cannot move my body!

"Anybody save me! Sis! Sis!"

The soldiers' bloody hands were now very near to me, cannot dodge them, must do something to stay away!

"Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"

Their hands were now covering my body, my limbs, even my face, I cannot see anything! Please, anyone! Save me! Save me! Save me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Haah! Haah! I woke up with many sweats on my body, so that was just a nightmare! Just a nightmare!

"First time...killing...is very hard..." - I heard a voice that next to me called me, that was my sis

"Sarah...come here..." - My sis raised her hands at me, as if to tell me to let her hug

"Sis!" - I immediately hugged my sis

"Don't scare...Sarah...you will be...used to it...don't scare..." - My sis kept comforting me while hugging me

I didn't how was my sleep after that but when I was hugged by my sis. I felt so relieved and went deep into my sleep again with no problem after that.

Sis, please stay with me, forever!
