Emily was the first one to scream in terror, most others were just frozen in their place, no one had expected the big hulky muscular guy to die, and die that easily, but what was more terrifying, was that this criminal didn't stop there, no, he jumped toward another guy, and cut him up, using his arm as a sword.

No one knew what to do, some started firing bullets at him, but the prisoner's speed was something untouchable, and those bullets missed him every time, instead, he had changed his direction, as he ran at full speed toward the person firing at him.

It didn't take more than a second, for that guy to drop dead on the ground. One of the participants shouted, trying to calm everyone a little, he said "Don't worry! he will be disqualified, and taken care of any second now!".

What made people believe that person, even more, was that in the next second, a small blue portal had appeared high in the air, and Robot, who was supposed to be their first test supervisor, spoke to them.

"Nah! killing is allowed, we kind of need a shortage of participants for this test! as for the others, well, good luck I guess, there are still another ten minutes before I return, so try to hold out until then!", with that, the Robot smiled, and said before entering the blue portal and disappearing again, "Give the viewers a good show, will you?".

'Hah! they really don't care about human life han?', thought Crow, as he looked at the Robot disappear inside the small blue portal.

The other participants, weren't relaxed like Crow was, after all, this prisoner couldn't do a thing against Crow, so why would he worry, as for trying to stop him, why would he do such a thing? it wasn't his concern, sure, he wasn't a fan of what was happening, but he didn't find any reason for him to stop the killing.

Because in the end, this, in a way, was helping Crow, since this prisoner was removing foes, Crow would end up fighting against, maybe even killing if necessary.

But, the participants couldn't afford to be relaxed, as their lives were threatened at the moment, and unfortunately, most of them were quite weak, against the second strongest here, a very strong and ruthless D ranker, they didn't stand a chance.

How were they going to survive those upcoming ten minutes? they needed to fight back, of course, a small group of about five, stepped forward, as for the others, they were either running away or simply hiding behind one of the shacks.

The prisoner didn't move again after the Robot had made his little appearance, instead, he looked at Crow, he wanted to confirm that Crow wasn't going to stop him, and Crow confirmed this, by turning his head away, as if he wasn't interested in what was happening.

As Crow glanced at everyone present here, he noticed an orange-haired guy who was standing frozen in his place, his body was shivering from fear, still, he seemed to want to touch a white bracelet on his right arm, but couldn't find the courage to do so.

'A Cardholder user? but if he can't activate it, then he will be killed without even having a chance to fight back, still, he's a bit far from that crazy guy, as well as, that criminal is currently fighting against a group of people, its true that he's overwhelming them a bit, but it isn't like he will be able to take care of them in a small amount of time!'.

At this point, he shifted his gaze, as he saw a group of four approaching him, two of them were familiar to him, one was the green-haired girl, the sportive Emily, her energetic attitude had faded away, after the shock she received from seeing a person she was just talking to, die such a brutal death.

Another was the beautiful blonde girl in a dress, the one named Zafira. It seemed like she was leading this small group of people toward him, Crow didn't say anything and waited for them to arrive.

Zafira screamed before they even reached him, there was a distance of about 10 meters still between them, and she said, "Mister Crow, please help us!", her request was simple, but Crow still answered with, "And why should I do that?".

Zafira almost wanted to say, "Are you for real?", but, instead, she took a few breaths from running so fast, and then looked at him, and said, "I have some information that you will want to hear! everyone will be given 1000 points whenever we are given our books! and we promise to give you 950 of it! so please, help us!".

'950 points? no, that's not what's important here, where did she get this information from? why does she know this? well, regardless, if it's true, 950 points from each of these four, just for protection from an ant, that's a good deal in my book!'.

Crow looked at her, and said, his voice cold, and his gaze menacing, even bits of his C ranker aura were released, "Okay, behind me then, but remember, if you are lying, I don't think I need to explain to you what will happen, right?".

Zafira gulped and nodded her head, but even more so, the other three, who weren't sure if she was telling the truth, they were way more scared, still, when they saw the criminal, who had just killed one from the group he was fighting, they forgot about this for a moment, and went behind Crow's back.

Only now, could they feel safe, the criminal had seen what had happened, but it didn't seem like he cared much, as he carried on with his fight, against this group of about four people.

One of them attacked the prisoner using a sword, the criminal quickly ducked down, and kicked him in the nether region, making the guy lose balance, though before he could continue, he had to quickly step back to avoid a bullet fired at him, by a woman with the group of four.

The criminal then jumped high into the air, and his body moved swiftly to avoid another shot fired at him, he came down crashing a fist into the woman's face, her teeth fell out, and blood oozed out of her mouth and nose.

But that wasn't the end of it, no, the end for her, was in the next second, where he again, used his arm as a sword, to cut the woman's head in two, only now, did her end come, her corpse fell to the ground, making the three remaining even more shocked.

Still, it wasn't like they had a choice, they needed to kill this criminal if they wanted to survive, at the very least, for now.

As this was going on, Crow's gaze fell on the orange-haired guy again, as he saw a card in his hands, he recognized that card as a B rank healing item, it was called the healing card, and it would heal any injury, as long as it wasn't extremely serious, this card could be used a total of three times, and was, of course, an expensive item.

Crow sighed for a while, then said, his voice cold, but clearly loud enough to reach the orange-haired guy, "You! come here!".

As Crow's voice resounded in the vicinity, everyone turned around to look at him, they quickly understood that he was talking to the orange-haired guy, the criminal took a quick look at him, before he continued his fight with the remaining three of the group.

Finally, the orange-haired guy, turned around, and saw Crow looking at him, he pointed at himself, his hand shaking even more, as if asking, "Do you mean me?", Crow nodded to confirm what he already knew.

The orange-haired guy took one more look at the criminal, and gaged that the distance between them was long enough, he then straightened his back, and walked quickly toward Crow, he seemed to become less scared as he approached.

Finally, he got there, when he reached Crow, and the group behind him, and before he could say a thing, he heard Crow say while pointing at his back, "Behind me!".

The guy was shocked, he even straightened his sight glasses, so he could see clearly, that Crow was pointing at his back, he opened his mouth, and asked, a little scared, "You...you're going to protect me?".

Crow didn't reply with words, instead, he nodded again, and the orange guy finally understood, he felt his body relax, he wasn't sure why this was happening, then he remembered what he was holding in his hand, and understood why Crow had decided to protect him.

'Good enough, if he needs me to give it to him, I will do it, after all, this item can certainly heal injuries, but can it heal death? no, of course, it can't, so I would gladly give it away if it meant I would be protected from that psycho!'.

The orange-haired guy then walked behind Crow and joined the group standing behind him.
