Chapter 50: It Feels Different

Back to the Tourmaline pack.

Alexander had a fist fight with Kairos. He had not practiced in a long time, his busy work at the company took up a lot of time. They were both in combat mode — werewolf form. Their bodies were full of fur, long canines, sharp and strong nails. Alex still looked handsome despite fine hair grew around his face.

Their fists clashed against each other, causing a gust of wind as the energies collided. Kairos' bones crushed, but in an instant, it was regenerating again. He healed in an instant. But his regenerate was still losing fast with Alex's. Before Kai could move, Alex had already jumped high, lightning fast, behind Kai and hit his back with sharp nails. Kairos' eye wide, he dodged quickly. Unfortunately, the sharp tip of Alex's nails still had time to scratch the man's skin.

"You're just getting slower, Kai!" Alex reprimanded the commander of his pack.

All the young wolves and warriors in the pack gaped at the fight. They were amazed at Alex's strength. It was incredible. This man was indeed a terrifying monster. Their strong coach could be trounced by Alex.

"You are too great, Alpha!" Kairos dodged Alex's rebuke. The Alpha was a scary beast. His damage and attack power was very lethal. Kairos would fall if Alex's slashes were cutting deep into his flesh.

"Didn't I had to told you to get more practice, Kai!" Alex ran towards Kai, Kai swiftly parried Alex's punch. Alex replaced punches with kicks. His legs swiveled swiftly kicking Kai's chest from behind his defense.

"Kai!" a she-wolf exclaimed when she saw her mate lying after getting hit by the alpha's superpower.

"Don't meddle, Rosanne!" Kai went up. He stopped his mate from getting into the fight.

"Ask Rosanne to accompany you fighting, Kai. I don't mind. You two can attack me at the same time." Alex didn't mind if they had a soul exchange.

"No, Alpha." But Kai refused.

"Come on, Kai!! We will win if we fight together." Rosanne begged. But Kai knew, even if they attack together with the soul mate link, they will not be able to win from Alex. Rosanne's intervention would only make the battle last longer. Alex would love it. He could use up his overflowing power without having to run through the wood in his wolf form.

(Werewolves have to run up their strength so that they don't change into wolf form at any time. Therefore, the entire herd usually uses up their energy by running in the forest once a month.)

"Kai!!" Rosanne insisted. She was afraid, Kai could have hurt if he continued to train together with Alex alone.

"Come on, Kai. Can't you see Rosanne's whimpering?" Alex smiled.

"As long as you promise not to touch her, Lord. I'll let her join the battle." Kai was also afraid that Rosanne would get hurt because of Alex's punch.

"Tch, you guys just make me jealous." Alex groaned in annoyance. He remembered Eden. The little rabbit couldn't be invited to fight together yet. Alex also wanted to attack while sharing his soul with his mate. Feeling the bond when their souls tied closely.

"How, Lord?" Kai asked.

"Okay, I won't touch Rosanne. Let's fight, I'm still not tired at all, Kai!! This sucks." Alex had steps.

"Yes!" Rosanne joined to the center of the field, fighting with Alex along with her boyfriend.

Rosanne lifted off her clothes until only her underwear remained. The girl curled up for a while and turned into combat mode. She turned into a werewolf with golden brown fur like Kairos's. Their furs glittering and glistened even more as they were together in the fighting arena.

Kairos could feel his energy overflowing as Rosanne sharing her soul. A link occurred between them, making Kai's power that had been reduced half now turned into full again. That's the job of the female wolves in the battle, they share the soul to fill their mate's soul. While they healed themselves, the man's energy continued to fill up.

"Let's get started, Kai!" Alex lunged again. The speed was so terrifying. All eyes looked at Alex without blinking. They were focused on learning how to fight from the alpha.

Fist fights, kicks, and even forehead attacks. Kairos was still holding on, with Rosanne by his side. Kairos' strength was overflowing. Alex was so enthusiastic. Kairos could match his speed, and that meant today's training would make him sweat. Alex could waste his energy!!

Rosanne helped Kai, they rapidly attack towards Alex. Alex continued to dodge while parrying. He was very passionate to face this great couple.

"You guys are so match!"

"Thanks for your compliment, Alpha. We trained hard for this!" Rosanne replied with a smirk, her fangs so sharp.

"Focus Rosanne!" Kai stopped the conversation. He kicked Alex, Alex ducked his head away.

Alex threw an uppercut to Kai's chin. When Kai was in pain, Rosanne was about to retaliate, but Alex pulled Kai's body and made him a shield. Rosanne's eyes widened. The girl gave up her intention to attack. Too late, Alex kicked Kairos' body until he hit Rosanne. Both of them bounced away.

"You said you wouldn't hurt me, Alpha?" Rosanne protest.

"Kai just mentioned I can't touch you," Alex replied.

"Tch, alpha was right! I was wrong. You just wait here, Rosanne! We can still link our souls." Kai kissed Rosanne's forehead before getting up and fighting again.

Kai continued the struggle to injure Alex, but the alpha could always dodge his attacks. The two of them sharpened their nails, tearing with full force. Alex towards Kai and vice versa. The air whizzed with a surge of power.

"Ouch!!" Kairos's shoulder and chest were cut so deep. He fell, the blood was rushing down, coloring his brown fur.

"Kai." Rosanne screamed. She went straight to Kai.

Alex was the same. He felt scratches on his arms and stomach. But quickly, the wound treated.

"We lost, Alpha." Kai was panting. Rosanne helped him sit up and shared her soul faster so that Kai healed.

"You guys are great fighters." Alex turned back into a human shape. All the warriors and young wolves clapped their hands in cheers for the great fight that had happened just now.

"Tomorrow we will go to Amethyst, Kai. Get some rest tonight." Alex tapped Kai's shoulder. The man had healed himself.

"Yes, my Lord."

Eden had just finished tidying Alex's bed when suddenly a hand hugged her waist from behind. Eden gasped, those sturdy hands lifting her up easily. Alex carried Eden like a child with his athletic body.

"Alex, why do you love to carry me like this so much?" Eden pushed Alex's head, who was already rubbing her breast mischievously. Sometimes Alex bit Eden's breast in excitement from above the lace dress.

"Stop it, Alex!"

"I'm tired, just a moment. Let me smell your scent for a moment." asked Alex spoiled, His eyes sparkled. Eden's face turned red. Why couldn't she refuse Alex's request?

"Why are you sweating so much?!" Eden noticed Alex's hair wet.

"I practiced combat with Kai."

"Huh? You guys fighting?"

"Yes."

"Who won?"

"Of course I do. I always win." Alexander laid Eden on the bed.

The two of them lay down and looked at each other. Alex rubbed Eden's forehead and down her cheek. Eden felt strange. Alex's touch could make her body tremble and her heart beating so fast. Not the same as Ace's touch, even though it's warm, couldn't make Eden feel this vibration.

Wow, what happened? Did Eden started to move to another heart?

"Alex, I..."

"Shhh…. Just a moment, just be with me for a moment. There's no need to say anything, E. Just shut up and keep to hug me." Alex came closer and fell into Eden's arms. Eden let Alex lay his head on her chest. Alex closed his eyes, enjoying Eden's heartbeat, which was beating so fast. While in Eden, she stroked Alex's hair softly.

"Is there any trouble?" asked Eden.

"I will lead to Amethyst pack tomorrow. Maybe a week, maybe a month, don't know yet, until the problem solve. And… I couldn't see you for a few days. It's torturing me." Alex snorted.

"I'm also going to summer camp tomorrow. If you don't go, I'll leave too. it's the same either, Alex." Eden comforted Alex.

"I know! Sigh… somehow I don't feel willing to let you go there, E. I'm scared something bad will happen to you." Alex sighed.

"Don't be afraid, Alex. We just went to campsite. Not to a wild forest full of wild animals." Eden laughed, "After all, there are Jackson and Maxi that you sent to accompany me?"

"You're right; promise me you won't disappear from their sight, Baby Girl! If you don't do so, I will pick you up myself." Alex pinched Eden's chin.

"Now how about we shower together again? I'm sweating. I need a bathe and a beautiful girl scrubbing my back." Alex teased Eden.

"No!!" Eden rejected.

"Ah, stingy." Alex hugged Eden tighter and kissed the top of her head. Gathering enthusiasm before parting for a few days with his bunny.
