Chapter 21: Answer to Rachael’s confession

'Go for it'............

Is it reality or a delusion. I don't want to question my sanity but here I am questioning it. Not to mention that this is not some anime or manga shit going on. It is a fuckin* REAL LIFE!!!!.....??? Harem or anything only looks good when it is fictional. But here in my case, it's happening in reality. 

"ALLY!!!!" [RACHAEL]

Welp, enough with this nonsense, time to go back to reality.

"Yes?" [ME]

"Yes? Really? I was talking to you this entire time and your answer is a YES? Were you even listening to me or not?" [RACHAEL]

"Sorry. I was thinking about something and really skipped what you were saying" I  apologized to Rachael because I was busy in my own world at that time.

"Nevermind, if you say so. So then, what's your answer?" [RACHAEL]

"I really don't know what to say. In the first place, i already have Anna, so accepting your confession is really hard for me, and secondly, accepting your confession while still dating Anna wouldn't be fair to you, an-"

Rachael blocked my mouth with her lips. My mind went blank for a second there. Looking in front of me, is the very dear childhood friend of mine. She was there with me during the most difficult phase of my life, always spending time with me, taking care of me, in turn asking me for just one thing- 'TO ACCEPT HER CONFESSION'.

If I look back in time, she was always there with me when I lived with my aunt. Except for school, she was always there with me.

Rachael stepped away after kissing me. She was beet red all over. 

"Rachael" [ME]

"Hmm?" [RACHAEL]

"Will you give me time until midnight to decide?" But one thing I was sure of is that, I cannot see her with anyone else. I may not know what love is, but i definitely know what I am currently feeling. I want to make her mine. I have become possessive for her. I just want to keep her all to myself.

"Really? Will you accept my confession?" She asked with the brightest smile on her face I've ever seen.

"Yes. So just please wait until midnight" [ME]

"I'll forever wait for you. In this life, I am only yours, so don't worry, okay?" She hugged me.

I also hugged her back. Her scent is really soothing. I don't know when, but I've become addicted to this scent.

After school hours, I got message from Anna that she has some work to do, and we can have a talk at night. So, I left to my work. 

After arriving at the Diner, I saw Roxanne preparing ingredients.

"Hello Roxanne" [ME]

"Hello Allen" [ROXANNE]

Both of us said nothing afterwards. I went back to change my uniform and after that I also joined her in preparing ingredients.

We both love silent atmosphere, so neither of us felt uncomfortable. 

Then Roxanne spoke

"Allen?" [ROXANNE]

"Yes?" [ME]

"I heard that you've got yourself a girlfriend?" She asked while fidgeting.

I don't know where she get to know it from, but nonetheless, I answered

"Yes, I do"

She gasped and then said,

"Congrats for it" 

I also replied with a 'thank you' and we both went back to our work again.
