I spent the entire day watching the fire nation camp from a distance, mesmerizing the general layout and guard rotations. I mapped the quickest route to the steam boat. According to the map it should take me 3 to 5 days to reach the main land of the earth kingdom.
'Hmm, what should I do after I reach the main lands, should I charter a passage to the water nations, my choker talisman said at least my 'mother' is from there. Maybe a wealthy earth nation family will adopt me, 'hah, like they would adopt a scar ridden child of unknown origins'. No my best chance is with the water tribes, due to my bending nature... I could also just join a street gang, hmm. No, no, go with the water tribes it will be safer.'
With my decision firm I began to pack the necessities of my wooden hut.
'The skulls trophy's are a no go. What about weapons?'
I'm staring at a plethora of different weapons mostly made of bones, woods, and leathers, all layout on a fur mat.
'hmm, I should take the nonlethal ones. The braided leather whip, couple of bolas, and the hand size blow pipe.
'Will the boat have supplies on it? I'll have to risk it and pack super light'.
I pack a bundle of smoke jerky's and a few bottles of water into the nice leather bag, wrap them in fur covering tying them with one of my hair braids. Then I went over to my apothecary area and scan my entire collection for nonlethal mixtures. I grab a few leather pouches that were nonlethal and gave out a depress sigh about the rest of my collection I was leaving behind.
Finally I began to open several reed baskets to rummage inside. They were the memento's I've collected since arriving to this island.
A small family portrait, papers with written characters, and the water nation choker talisman, along with other assorted items.
'hmm, I should of had one of the soldiers from last night read to me what it said on the paper. When I get to the main lands I'm going to-. Wait, I'm half naked their not going to want to deal with me like this, I should have taken all the clothing from those Fire Nation soldiers.'

I pack the memento into a fur pouch and attached onto my bone spear making it into a bindle and then turned to the last thing I decided to pack.
"Miffens". I look into reed basket, to find a small fur coil kitten snake who was currently strangling a rat spider to death.
After waiting for the rat spider to die, I took Miffens out from the basket and laid him out on floor. I sat cross legged in front of Miffens, who was trying to swallow the rat spider whole.
"Miffens, I'm leaving the island." I said with confidence and in a assured tone.
"mmhisss". Miffens swallowed the rat spider.
"Ah, you don't have to come with me, you can stay on the island to avenge your parents."
"Mhissss, mmmhiss, mhhisss." Miffens fork tougue darted in and out.
"No, I'll be fine, once I reach the main lands I have a plan".
"Mhissss". Miffen began to coil up along my body coming to rest gently squeezing around my neck and neck bracer, before soft purring noises could be heard.
"Ahh, Thanks buddy". I petted Miffens soft fur coat like a precious scarf.
I'll need to start preparing for tonight and with last look I left the wooden hut hopefully for the last time.
