Feet moved, sprawled in a tango. Bright reds, harrowing blacks, sky blues, and plain whites fluttered the streets. Purples excitedly tossed about in this unending ocean. Humans are unique creatures. Never still, constantly flowing, never relenting, always hasty. They're wholly entertaining, with all their goals and ambitions.

Look at this excited rabbit, hoping along her path, beside her one and only. Her brown hair moves up and down, like the ocean's waves, never ceasing in her joy. Only illusions of life can bring such delight.

You look at this, leaving him inside the clothing store, preparing for her grand reveal. What 'grand reveal' does she have in store for us? Yet, poor creature, your work will have no meaning. Watch and see how ignorant this world is.

Take this glass of wine. Is it half full or half empty?

Neither, it's a wineglass. It does its job, ignorant of this question. Each glass has a different curve for different beverages, yet no one cares except for using it. Either it's getting or waiting to get used.

The wine is half full and empty. Just by tasting it, it already proves such a notion. A clumsy blackberry dancing under the everlasting starlight grass beside her beloved red cherry. Alas, blackberry should stand behind; it's far too exclusive to stand in the starlight. The star grass should be the show; it only steps onto the stage once every hundred years. Humans, yes, quite refreshing indeed. They, individually, are either full or empty of themselves. The wineglass' entity is both empty and full.

Ah, never mind that, look at this show of Mr. Attendant and his company, Aiden.

Time passes, and the store attendant buys Aiden's time, dressing him with every outfit. Even outfits possess no beauty to the beholding eye. Tell me, Mr. Attendant, is Aiden a self-centered brat? Don't be so tense. Betty, why try to surprise him? He only smells the meat. Humans are overflowing with foolish folly.

Ah, Mr. attendant, that outfit is too classy for this low-class event. There is no need to dress him like the royal dish he is. At least this time, his attire gets made of actual clothing; we're stepping onto the correct path. Hand him a dimmed button-down to wear; it will bring out his eyes and match his wine-red hair. Also, make him wear that gorgeous necklace he hid for far too long. Why hide it? Although it does clash with the outfit a bit, sadly.

Ah? Aiden, what's wrong? Do you not like the outfit? Why are you reacting strangely? Relax. Everything is well in my hands.

Yes, that's it. Now, the bunny will hop onto the stage.

....
...
...

Quite late, isn't she?

...
....

Betty stumbles in.

"Ah, sorry, am I late?" Yes, you are spectacularly late. But, what's with that dress that's no more than a black box? Why are you wearing make-up? Freckles are your pride and joy.

"Well, it's fine," Aiden said, looking at anything else but Betty. "The outfit is quite slick, not gonna lie. Let me guess, Alyssa will pay for it? This care is getting a bit ridiculous."

Too focused on the meat, aren't we? Well, the smokehouse sure is calling. Pay attention to Betty, can't you? Don't tell me you can't even enjoy Betty's simple figure? Even if she butchers her appearance? You will embrace my figure. Everyone does; they all fall for it.

"Ahem," Mr attendant announced. "Alyssa paid in advance. She wished for you two to enjoy yourselves."

As if that mute would talk. Does the moon shine brighter than the sun? On many observations, witnessing those humans, I concluded they're silly and pathetic creatures. Even Mr. attendant, the only voice of reason here, is ill.

Look at them walk out as strangers gaze at them. They all think, 'an outsider with the outcast Betty.' Bizarre creatures, really. Is it so weird not to be bound to the stove and oven? Who wants their ankles bounded like a sacrificial sheep?

But it's still pleasant. Betty's pure bliss, pure ignorance, not so many people own such a lofty ideal. Is the wine separate from the wineglass? When was the last time the world spun, taken over by a weaver? When was the last time the heavens roared, mandating a Being Above All?

Never. It never happened. Does anyone care? No. No one listens, no one looks, no one asks, no one seeks. They are here only for themselves and for others who are for themselves.

Humans are creatures, regardless of how many lifetimes I will never understand.

So Aiden bound below your depths, your question will get answered. 'Why are you calling Alyssa master?'

Because no one cares. It's calling her.

But you're not listening.

But that's fine. I like a good meal too.

Now...

Let's eat.

Aiden walks briskly, and Betty tries to talk but soon falls out of breath. That smokey smell filled the street, possibly the world too. But why is Aiden's heart racing? Did the world always seem so vivid? All these bashing colors, claiming dominance, like wild animals? Aiden gets pulled farther in, like a fish on a line, soon bound out of breath.

But he must keep going. People are starting to stare, but some things are more important than their glares. Aiden soon stops and catches his breath as Betty follows suit. With his shaking eyes, the world crumbled as if the abyss below upraised, conquering the world.

"Umm... Aiden, the smokehouse is the other way." They were right at the entrance of Death Alley. Betty never came this close to it. Only deranged men were here or upstairs in the bar defying The Gods Above's will. The guards soon noticed Betty outside "Northern Blades." Only a handful of reasons did Betty she step out, and it was never for Death Alley. "Ai-Aiden? Aiden? Are you okay? Let's go. I-I'm sure the guards will help es-escort us," she said, panicking.

"I'm okay. We're going to the steakhouse." Aiden's irises dilated like a drunk man and employed just as much attention.

"Hello, Betty. Hello young sir. Are you alright?" The man in purple said, popping out of thin air. "Let's get you out of here before the Gods give their retribution."

"No, I'm going," Aiden said, slipping like a viper, weaving between his arms, and soon out of reach.

"WAIT! AIDEN!" Betty screamed as her legs went weak. The people got drowned in their world, forever shackled to the most ungodly places. Deaf to her screeching prayers, blind to the outrageous actions.

"Sorry, but one going there is enough. Alyssa will never allow two." Betty flopped to her knees, weeping to her hands. Her friend, who didn't scorn her cooking, got beckoned into an abyss called 'humanity.' "Come, let's go back and get some help."

Right, Alyssa will help. Meanwhile, Aiden went into the hands of a 'foul' demon.
