Chapter 49: CHAPTER 49: LYNX AND HYDRA (1)

"Wait!" Kairi stops them from entering Antonia's palace.

 

They all turn their heads at him. They appeared in an area a little far from the entrance to the palace where no one was nearby.

 

"What's wrong?" Agi asked.

 

"These two shouldn't be exposed yet." Kairi pointed at Rafiz and Dark Hartina.

 

"We can just make them invisible, you know," Ziphoteninx told Kairi with telepathy.

 

"No can do!" Kairi shook his head.

 

"Hartina, I'm sorry to say this but you need to change your appearance." 

 

Kairi stares at Dark Hartina's hair which was the colour of purplish-blue pink combined. He looks like a candy or a heavy metal person.

 

Dark Hartina nodded. He moved his hand to pull his hair. His action stunned everyone there. Moreover, after the purplish-blue pink hair fell off his head, sparkling long red hair was present in their eyes. 

 

Dark Hartina also pulls off his fake eyebrow colours and wipes his dark lips. After he was done with that, he pulled off a tie from his wrist and tied his hair into a ponytail. Now, he looks like a different person.

 

"What? You think I dyed my real hair?" He chuckled at their dumbfounded expression.

 

His smile also amazes them. It seems Dark Hartina was a very good-looking young man. Dark Hartina threw his hair lightly away. Before it fell, a burning arrow burned it. They all were astonished that he would burn his fake hair with his weapon.

 

"The past me is over…" He told them slowly and they all understood it.

 

"Yes. You are a Bright Star user, Hydra, from this moment on to your death. Welcome home, Hydra and you too, Rafiz." Kairi smiled at them.

 

"Hm? What user is Rafiz, Kairi?" 

 

Virgo and his friend still couldn't guess it. Even Rafiz doesn't know.

 

Kairi grins. "You guys should have seen his eyes, correct? What do you think? Which stellar user is he?"

 

He won't tell them directly and wanted them to guess it themselves. They all went silent and thought about it.

 

Dark Hartina recalls the battle between Rafiz and Dark Sethan. It was at that time that Rafiz's emblems started to crack and later was repaired by Dark Revier. He remembered seeing the shadow that looked like a four-legged animal with three tails. The hissing sounds like… a cat or a fox. Then, he listed all 32 stellar users' spirit forms.

 

"He's a Lynx…?" He guessed the answer while looking at Kairi.

 

"Bravo! You are very smart, Hartina!" Kairi clapped his hands.

 

His correct answer made everyone clap their hand in joy and it embarrassed Dark Hartina. Rafiz slowly touches and squeezes his emblem. 

 

"Lynx… I'm the Bright Star user, Lynx." He thought silently.

 

Dark Hartina stares at Rafiz's emblem. The emblem was given back to Rafiz by Dark Revier after he defeated Dark Sethan without using his emblem's power. But, he felt uneasy with Rafiz's emblem. It's like something was off with it. Not only that, he and other Deorc Star emblems also were touched by Dark Revier when he asked them for it.

 

"Kairi, can you check both of our emblems? I think Dark Revier did something to it." 

 

Dark Hartina took off his emblem and showed it to Kairi. Rafiz seeing his action, did the same. 

 

Kairi took them and used his power to feel inside. Suddenly, a seizure of something dark hit him but Kairi's body protection shield in the shape of a light aura appeared and fight the emblems' attack.

 

"Kairi!" Everyone was shocked.

 

"Kairi, let them go! It's dangerous!" 

 

Dark Hartina, who instantly went pale after seeing it, shouted at Kairi. He felt guilty for asking Kairi to take a look at their emblems.

 

"It's alright. Everyone stays back." Kairi told them while gritting his teeth.

 

The dark power on the emblems was very huge and he was determined to destroy it and save the spirits inside. Ziphoteninx appeared in his huge form and circled him. He released the light aura that combined with Kairi to help him overcome the darkness. His sudden appearance surprised Dark Hartina and others.

 

"Is that a wolf?!" Virgo exclaimed with eyes widened.

 

"That's Sir Ziphoteninx that I talked about before. He's the one who teaches Kairi about his power." Dark Hartina explained.

 

"What?! I thought he was human!" Aries was shocked.

 

"When did I say he was human? Oh, right. Sorry, I forgot to tell you about his true appearance." Dark Hartina grimaced.

 

"You also mention Draco. Is he one of the Deorc Star users too? Who is he then?" Agi asked.

 

"He's Dark Kurumi!"

 

"What?!" 

 

Agi and his friends were startled. They could have never thought that Dark Kurumi was Draco. Then, they went back to see Kairi and Ziphoteninx. Their circumstances were found out by other Bright Star users who were in Antonia. Leo, Perseus, Auriga and others, one by one appeared.

 

They were shocked to see Kairi and Ziphoteninx surrounded by light and dark. They didn't recognize Kairi, Rafiz and Dark Hartina due to their different appearance.

 

"What's going on here?! Agi, explain!" Leo instructed.

 

"Sir, we have brought Your Majesty back with us and also… Another two missing users of Bright Star..." Agi saluted Leo and explained.

 

"Your Majesty?! He has returned?!" 

 

Leo finally notices the stellars power coming from Kairi. He was just confused about Ziphoteninx who was bigger than a carriage helping their king. Who is this wolf?

 

"Yes. The wolf is Mr Ziphoteninx who has taken Your Majesty before and taught him."

 

"Then, what are they doing? That! Isn't that Deorc Star emblem?!" Auriga was startled after staring at Kairi's hand.

 

"Where are they?! How dare they want to harm our king!" Cancer growled while looking around.

He and others turn to Rafiz and Dark Hartina who were amongst them. Only these two were not their people. Rafiz and Dark Hartina silently swallowed. This might be their biggest moment ever to be surrounded by their new allies.

 

"Aries, who are they?" Perseus asked gently.

 

Aries looked worried. She peeked at Rafiz and Dark Hartina before she turned back to Perseus.

 

"These two… Erm…" She was conflicted about whether to tell the truth, or not.

 

Dark Hartina doesn't want to be more suspicious or complicate the situation for Aries so he stood in front of her.

 

"I am Hydra." He answered Perseus.

 

"Hydra?! Isn't the user of Hydra all dead?!" Everyone was stunned to hear it.

 

"And I am Lynx." Rafiz went to stand beside Dark Hartina.

 

"What?!"

 

Leo frowned for a moment before something in his mind seemed to collect some clues. He turned back to Kairi who was holding the dark emblems. There were two emblems and… Rafiz and Dark Hartina were two unknown people here. His eyes widened when his mind concluded something unexpected.

 

He glared at them both. "Agi! Who. Are. They?!"

 

Agi gulped. He felt helpless with Leo's eyes threatening him. Since Agi couldn't say it, Pegasus pushed him to his back and confronted Leo.

 

"Sir, they are the missing Bright Star users. As for their other identities, it is better to wait for Your Majesty's explanation." Pegasus told him without flinching.

 

Leo stares at him for a long time before he moves away his gaze to Kairi again. He folded his hand and went silent. His action makes everyone from Agi's side feel a bit of relief. They all give a silent thumb to Pegasus for his quick thinking.

 

Back to Kairi and Ziphoteninx, they both were communicating through their minds.

 

"Is it over yet?" Kairi asked Ziphoteninx.

 

"Meh, let them be more anxious. After all, this is your grand appearance to them. Let them look at the mighty you, powering over the darkness."

 

Kairi in his mind was sighing. These were all Ziphoteninx ideas. The emblems strike on him wasn't that powerful to the current him and now with Ziphoteninx combining his power, it was more a piece of cake to destroy the darkness but Ziphoteninx wanted Kairi to delay it a bit. Their delays make other Bright Star users in the palace appear there because they notice a disturbing aura outside.

 

"Alright, alright. You can destroy the darkness now. Tsk! What is Dark Revier thinking? He should have noticed that I am here with you." Ziphoteninx complained.

 

Kairi rolled his eyes at him before swiping the darkness away and making it disappear. His body shield dimmed down along with Ziphoteninx's aura.

 

"Your Majesty, are you alright?!" Auriga came near first.

 

"I am fine. Thank you." Kairi smiles at him.

 

"Your Majesty, welcome back!" Leo and Perseus went in front of him and kneeled down on one knee.

 

Their actions were followed by everyone there including Rafiz and Dark Hartina. Both don't want to be rude or strange in everyone's eyes.

 

"Rise," Kairi told them while moving the two dark emblems into his dimension.

 

Rafiz and Dark Hartina understood his action. It's better to let Kairi keep their emblems until it was safe for them to use them again.

 

Kairi looked at everyone. There were new faces he had never seen before. He still knew Cancer, Libra, Cygnus and Eridanus. As for everyone else, he could only sense what power users they were.

 

"But, not everyone is here. If I'm not mistaken, they are supposed to be 20 stellar users. Including the three of them, Leo, Perseus, Auriga, Aries and others… There should be another two users missing. Should be Cetus and Orion. I wonder where they went to." Kairi thought silently.

 

Then, he remembered Ini after seeing the three people where one of them was a child.

 

"Ziphoteninx, please bring Ini out." He telepathy him.

 

Ziphoteninx used his power to open a portal dimension and had told Ini to come out. When Ini got out of the portal, everyone recognised him and was surprised.

 

"Ini!" 

 

Someone shouted. He was also a child-like Ini and ran to Ini before he hugged him tightly.

 

"Brother!" Ini widened his eyes before he sobbed. He returns his brother, Gem, hugs.

 

They were finally reunited!

 

"Your Majesty, Ini was with you all this time? Where have you found him?" A man got closer and asked.

 

He was a little chubby person with short brown hair and eyes. Height at about 1.71 metres. He looked so relieved after seeing Ini was safe.

 

"Centaurus, I found him in an empty village a bit far from Ryam Town. It was a coincidence to meet him there."

 

Kairi can tell who was who so he directly called their stellar's name.

 

"Thank goodness for your luck, Your Majesty! He left us to bait Dark Howlan away and scared us all. We couldn't find him anywhere and returned here to ask for help."

 

Kairi nodded in understanding. "I met Dark Howlan. Sigh… It's a pity that I couldn't catch him. He ran away." He looked disappointed.

 

Everyone was confused by his explanation except Rafiz and Dark Hartina. No one else knew that some Deorc Star users were Bright Star users.

 

"Your Majesty, instead of capturing him, why didn't you kill him?" 

 

Someone came and stood beside Centaurus. He was taller than Centaurus by 1.8 metres with dark blue hair and the same colour as his eyes. His body was lanky. He seemed angry that Dark Howlan was still alive. He, Centaurus and Gem were hurt badly by him. He would have killed Dark Howlan if his power was greater.

 

"Canis…" Centaurus could understand his feelings since he was there too.

 

Kairi smiled a little. "You might be shocked to know the truth that I'm going to tell later. So… Sir Leo, please gather every user in the meeting room. I need to tell everyone about something." Kairi turns his head to Leo.

 

"Understood!"

 

Leo followed Kairi's order and gathered all the Bright Star users in Antonia to the meeting room. Since the meeting was actually to discuss the Deorc Star users, Rafiz and Dark Hartina also were present in the meeting room.
