"You have to die first," Kairi told them.

"What?!" Everyone screamed in horror.

"But, Your Majesty! You said there's a way to save them. How can death save them?" Agi Asked in bewilderment.

Kairi smirked. "Then, tell me how do the Deorc Star users pass down their power to their successors?"

His eyes were directed at Dark Hartina since Rafiz doesn't have the knowledge of it. After all, he also lost his memories.

Dark Hartina thought for a moment. He only remembered there was a ritual to pass down their emblems.

"We've gone through a blood ritual. Dripping our blood on the emblem and that's it."

Huh? Just like that? And you already can use the power of the dark emblem? Why is it so plain and easy?

Everyone looked confused and some even looked stunned. It was so different from them who needed to say long sentences with some vows and then release them to their next successors. They don't need to do a blood ritual but the ceremonies took a very long time to finish. Somehow, some people feel a little jealous of the Deorc Star users.

Maybe they can do that too and see? No, better not. Their ritual was sacred and divine. They shouldn't change it because it's too long and boring.

"But it must be members of the family who have the same blood tie."

Dark Hartina, who doesn't realise their conflict, continues to say his sentences.

"But why the need for blood ritual?" Cygnus doesn't understand.

Dark Hartina shrugged. "No idea. It was passed down like that all the time."

Since no one knows the answer, they turn their head back to Kairi again. Kairi should know it since he's the one who asked it first.

"Alright, I'll tell you. The reason why the blood ritual must be done is that the blood would be recognised by the monsters that reside in it. If another person who doesn't have the same blood as the user still does the ritual, he would be immediately killed by the monsters. These might be Revioryx's ideas to ensure his members stay pure with the same blood generation since the monsters he summoned can only recognize the same blood tie users. After all, only the chosen Bright Star user can use the emblems. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Everyone slowly nodded. Finally, they understood why the blood ritual was needed. It was because the users must be from the same blood generation as the chosen Bright Star users. It was to let the Deorc Star users be able to use the power of the emblems!

"Revioryx is too evil! Those poor and lost members of our family have suffered so much in his hands!" Libra glared at the table.

"You're right! The twelve members of our Bright Star users were used by him and we must save them!"

Aries has let go of her grudge against the Deorc Star users. All she wanted now was to save them. Kairi felt happy that she had changed her mind about their enemies.

"Agree!" Virgo stood up. They must help get back their stellar family members from Revioryx.

"Agree!" Agi and Pegasus also stood up. They show their support for it.

Aries and Libra nodded to each other and followed their friends to stand up. The others feel a bit complicated, especially for some people who lost their families in Deorc Star users' hands.

They were surprised when Leo and Auriga stood up too with Perseus following next. They thought both of them would disagree because both also lost their family members to the enemies.

Leo looked at them one by one.

"I won't forgive them but this is no longer the time to bear a grudge if we want to end this centuries-long battle. To defeat Revioryx, we must do what our king has suggested and gather our stellar family members again. This might be our only opportunity to defeat him. Think through. Now or never!"

Leo's words make them think about the past and the future they wanted. Not a moment later, one by one stood up. All of them looked serious. This shows their agreement to save the rest of their family members.

Dark Hartina silently felt like crying. The Bright Star users were able to put away their differences and united to bring him and eleven others home. Although he can still feel their hatred, they have the same enemies now.

It was just like 'your enemy is my enemy too'.

Rafiz who could understand him patted his shoulder. Kairi smiled at their change of mind.

"Thank you… Now sit! We haven't finished our discussion about these two and why these two need to die."

Everyone grunts at his change of topic. The scene should be emotional first before they move on to another topic. They reluctantly sit and then chuckle at their king when they thought he destroyed their momentum.

Can't he just act grateful first or give them some enthusiastic speeches? Seems impossible now.

Kairi ignored their thoughts.

"Lynx, Hydra, the meaning about the dying part is when you both died, the monsters would be in a rage and they would come out of the emblems on their own. They would kill the ones who they thought had killed their masters. But, you don't need to worry. As long as I am here, I can revive you back." Kairi told them.

"Then, Your Majesty, please do it. I am ready." Dark Hartina didn't hesitate.

"Me too." Rafiz slightly nodded.

"Sigh… Dying is not a very pleasant thing to feel. You might see something else in the realm of death. Make sure you have prepared both physically and mentally. I don't want you guys to return and become crazy. You can ask Pegasus since he died before. And so! Let's discuss this again tomorrow. You all dismissed. I need to talk with Leo and Auriga alone now."

"Ehh?! Your Majesty, we still have lots of questions!"

"Yeah!"

Almost everyone looked dissatisfied.

"I said dismissed!" Kairi growled and glared playfully at them.

Reluctantly, they leave. Only Leo and Auriga were left behind in the meeting room.

"You finally look like a leader, Your Majesty," Auriga commented with a small laugh.

Who would have thought Kairi had changed his weak temperament into someone confident and committed. But he was glad for the changes. This was the leader and king they wanted.

Kairi folded his hand. "I need to change so I can lead you all better. By the way, has anything happened in these three years?"

Although Kairi can just look into their memories, he feels it's better to directly let them tell him. This can increase their friendship and become closer to each other.

"Deorc Star has been pestering us but they didn't go for the kill. It's like they were testing or waiting for something."

"I think they're waiting for me to come out but it's not likely just that. Draco had told me they're preparing an army in the south of Beilton."

Beilton was located in the north of Syarantonia. The army that Draco had told him was resting at the border between their kingdom.

Leo and Auriga didn't look surprised. Kairi guessed they had long known it.

"Our armies are all ready, Your Majesty. We also had finished building many underground shelters for the residents to take cover." Leo stated.

Kairi closed his eyes. "Three days… In these three days, please rush them to move to the shelter. A week from now, they surely will war with us."

His instinct told him that the battle would come soon. It may not be next week. It could be within this week for it to happen. So, he must ensure Syarantonia non-combatant residents vacate their homes to the shelters. It doesn't matter from which direction in Syarantonia, he wanted them to stay in the shelters which he must go check on them later.

"Understood!"

Kairi opened his eyes again. "As for the Deorc Star users, let's trap them in Syarantonia. It won't be easy but… If they don't want to listen, just capture them first. We will have lots of time to convince them later."

"Yes!"

"Your Majesty, who were Lynx and Hydra? And also Draco." Leo finally asked the identity of the people who were with them.

"You would be surprised and angry. Just, don't punish or beat them until the war is over, okay?"

Both nodded their heads and then waited for Kairi's answer.

"Rafiz, Dark Hartina and Dark Kurumi."

Leo and Auriga gasped and then took a breath in and out when their feelings grew irritated.

The enemy who controls my wife! Leo's hands change into fists and he grips them hard.

As for Auriga, he was thinking about the soldiers who died in Dark Hartina and Dark Howlan's hands. He too had fisted his hands with a dark expression.

Kairi eyed one after the other. He also went silent and let them think and calm themselves. He doesn't want to interfere with their old grudge.

"Sorry, Your Majesty, we might need time to control our feelings." Auriga apologised.

"It's fine. Be angry if you want. It's not like I won't allow you to beat them after the war. Just don't kill them. Until then, wait first."

Their eyes glinted. Kairi could guess they were scheming silently. He just sympathises with the Deorc Star users.

"Hartina, you might want to hide for a while once we defeat Revioryx."

Dark Hartina, who was walking with Aries' group, stopped. He heard Kairi's voice in his head.

"Why?" He was confused and asked.

"Leo and Auriga are planning to have a 'party'. A party only for the Deorc Star members."

For an unknown reason, Dark Hartina shuddered.

"What kind of party?"

"You know… The thing with whips and handcuffs."

Dark Hartina finally understood Kairi's meaning. It seems they might not get away from the punishment for their sins.

"So be it. I would not run away. It's… It's justified."

He knows it was impossible to be forgiven. So, he wasn't that scared if they wanted him and other Deorc Star users to die.

He also has made a bucket list since he knew he was a Bright Star user. He already befriended Rafiz so one on the list was done.

Kairi, who could hear his thoughts, laughed suddenly.

Bucket list? Seriously?

"Don't think that, Hartina. It's not like they would kill you guys. They just want a friendly match which might get you guys almost beat to death though… But, I'm sure you guys can hang on, right, until their anger is satisfied…?"

"Sigh… Whatever you say, Kairi." He already thought death was a mercy to them. Whatsmore to be beaten to death.

Either way is fine to him. Kairi shook his head at his negative thoughts. He then cut off their communication.

"Hydra? What's wrong?" Virgo asked since Dark Hartina stopped following them and he called him by his stellar name.

They don't want the other Bright Star users to attack him since Dark Hartina and Dark Howlan did murder lots of knights and soldiers three years ago.

"Sorry, it's nothing. But, it feels unbelievable to walk calmly with you guys. If someone tell me before that we would become allies, I would have dumb him in the sea."

Dark Hartina's replies make them chuckle. They walked around the garden lake to take a breath and the day had already turned to night after they left the meeting room.

"Agree. It's a wonder how it happens now. By the way, Agi, their room is still there right?" Virgo turned his head to Agi.

"Their room is near me. So, which is it? You guys want to rest now or go to the festivals?" Agi asked Rafiz and Dark Hartina.

As for the room, it belongs to the stellar user name after them. All 32 stellars users have their own room around the palace area. Except for Leo and Persues who have married and live in a grand house and the house was located at the east of the palace area.

"... Tomorrow might be their death date, so why not go have fun?" Pegasus suggested.

His words shocked them.

"Pegasus!" Aries, Virgo and Agi snapped at him.

His mouth really has no insurance!

Rafiz and Dark Hartina smirked.

"Why not. It's a good moment for the last time, right, Rafiz?"

"Yes."

"No, no, please don't think like that. This is really not a joke. What if it did happen?" Aries got worried.

"Kairi is here. He won't let anything happen to them." Agi sighed.

Aries was relieved. She forgot that Kairi would ensure their life continues to exist before they defeat Revioryx. But after that… She wouldn't know what they would do when there were no longer enemies to fight.

Peace is something they want but… It would be boring for some people, right?

"Okay, I need to figure out a job after all of this is over. Should I go for a hunting job? Or become an adventurer? Wait, I already did that but there's still lots of places to go so why not." She thought quietly with excitement.

Her friends stare at her with amusement on their faces since she has a change of expression every moment they blink their eyes. They wonder what this woman was thinking. It was so mysterious…

Only Dark Hartina, who hears and reads other people's minds, could understand her. He grinned hopelessly at her thought about the future. But then, it was nice to think about it if they didn't die, of course…
