Kairi was finally able to rest in the room he slept in three years ago. He went to the balcony to take a breath and look towards the city. It was lit up with a festival lamp.

“Kairi.” Someone called his name from behind.

“Ziphoteninx?”

Kairi turned to his back and was surprised to see a black wolf with Ziphoteninx. He was big and wore accessories like Ziphoteninx.

“This must be Sir Kironinx, right? Ziphoteninx had mentioned to me about you.” Kairi guessed and walked near without fear.

Kironinx, who was the black wolf, laughed. “No need for formal calls. Just call me, Kironinx. And I brought my partner with me.”

Kironinx looked to the back and Kairi finally saw someone else was there. It seems both Ziphoteninx and Kironinx’s aura conceal his sense toward another person behind them.

“Rafiz…” Kairi said the person's name.

“Erm, are you alright?”

He could see Rafiz was standing rigid in his place and also a little pale. He guessed it must be because of Kironinx that appeared suddenly from his bracelet’s mark.

“Aren't you guys going to the festival?” He knew Virgo and others had decided to bring Rafiz and Dark Hartina to the festivals.

How come Rafiz was here? Where are the others then?

Rafiz stares at Kironinx and Ziphoteninx. Just now, when he was with Dark Hartina at the festival, something caught him unprepared. Everything around him turned dark and then… This majestic black wolf suddenly appeared in front of him!

The wolf was huge with big glowing blue eyes staring at him.

"I am Kironinx. Same being as Ziphoteninx you have met with Kairi. It's nice to finally be able to appear beside you." The wolf said.

Rafiz swallowed. "You, what do you want with me?"

"Nothing. I have been with you since three years ago."

"What?! How?!" Rafiz was shocked. He didn't sense anything besides him.

"Of course, you won't know. I always stay inside the mark on your wrist."

Rafiz looked at his bracelet's mark on his left wrist. Does this thing have dimensional space?!

"Wh, Why are you with me…?" He asked Kironinx. He doesn't understand why Kironinx would be with him.

Kironinx stares at Rafiz's confused expression and chuckles.

"I have a duty to watch over you. But I wasn't able to appear before because Dark Ries was watching you. Have you ever wondered why Dark Ries couldn't tell or find out that you have changed sides when you know Dark Hartina's secret? A secret that he had met with Kairi, the leader of Bright Star users."

Rafiz went silent. Truthfully, he thought he would have gotten caught by Dark Ries and had Dark Hartina killed because of his betrayal but… Dark Ries did nothing. Dark Ries, of course, came to check his memories when he asked him to stay behind, yet, he looked like he wasn't interested in his memories with Dark Hartina teaching him or discussing normal things around Deorc Star users.

How did he notice what Dark Ries sees in his memories?

He doesn't know either. He just saw the scene appear one at a time during Dark Ries searching. It happened many times so he guessed that was what Dark Ries saw in his memories. Only… The part where he found out Dark Hartina's secret or the secret talk between them about Kairi and Dark Kurumi, didn't appear at all.

"You… Help me at that time?" Rafiz finally understood the reason that Dark Ries haven't found out about it.

"Correct." Kironinx nodded before he grinned widely. He had shielded Rafiz's memory with his power during Dark Ries's search.

"Alright, I have other business to attend to. You are coming with me." He continued.

"Eh?"

Rafiz was startled when Kironinx's tail went around him and tightened up. And then, he saw two open bat wings behind Kironinx.

"You have gotta be kidding me!" Rafiz screams internally when Kironinx just flies fast into the dark sky.

When he was brought away, he saw someone who looked like him standing beside Dark Hartina and others. He guessed Kironinx had summoned a doppelganger to replace him. But right now, a feeling of something new was born.

Terrified.

What terrified him was… The feelings of looking down from above. Moreover, he got dizzy and wanted to puke his stomach out. He finally realised that he had a problem with height.

It was okay if he looked from the balcony since his feet still stood on something but not when Kironinx was holding him with his tail around his waist. He felt like he could fall and instantly hugged the tail and shut his eyes tightly. He heard Kironinx laugh, probably laughing at his pale expression. He can also feel the night breeze and shudder at the cold.

"Hey, open your eyes. There's something I want to show you." Kironinx's voice was heard inside his head.

Rafiz slowly opened it. His eyes still looked downward and shut again. Kironinx another laugh vibrated to his tail.

"Don't look down, stupid. Look up."

Stupid?!

Rafiz's eyes twitched and with a fit of slight anger opened his eyes again. This time he didn't stare down and look up. He was stunned when he saw a full moon above. It was big and glowing bright.

"Spectacular, huh? When you are feeling scared and down, a scene like this will make you feel better. So, are you calming down now?" Kironinx teased.

Rafiz felt Kironinx should shut up. He ruined the moment!

"Kironinx…" A voice startled him.

"Oh, Ziphoteninx. Long time no see." Kironinx already realised Ziphoteninx had come to him.

Ziphoteninx looked at Rafiz and him.

"What are you doing?"

"Taking a breath of fresh night air. And what are you doing here?" Kironinx asked back.

"Waiting for you to come. We agree to explain to them about their past."

"Oh, yes, yes, I almost forgot about it. Alright, let's go."

Then, they all disappeared and appeared again on the balcony. Rafiz was let go by Kironinx and he almost stumbled to the ground due to his weakened leg. And that's the story.

Now, slowly he walks towards Kairi but he circles around the wolves first before arriving behind Kairi. Kironinx grinned, showing along with his sharp teeth. Rafiz who saw it shuddered. He really didn't want to fly to the sky anymore.

Ziphoteninx pushed Kironinx’s face away.

“Stop scaring him! He might faint before we explain everything to them.” He scolded Kironinx.

“Aww, but I didn’t even do anything,” Kironinx complained with ears falling down.

“Shut up!” Ziphoteninx smacks him lightly with his tail before he turns to Kairi and Rafiz.

“Please ignore him. He fell on his head when he was a cub and now he likes to tease people a lot.”

“Hey! I’m not abnormal!”

Kairi’s eyes twitched. Isn’t Ziphoteninx the same too?

Ziphoteninx likes to tease him a lot and make crazy dramas with him involved. He couldn’t help remembering what they had done together in these three years.

He shook his head to withdraw from his thinking.

“So, what exactly do you guys want to tell us? If it’s about our memories, I guess, we need to discuss it with each other first. Moreover, it’s not that important for the time being.”

"What's not important? Child, your memories are very important!" Kironinx scowled.

"But, we are going to fight in the war that is coming soon. To know the past when you said I was a naive and hopeless youngster, I don't want to remember it for now and have it change my momentum in the war." Kairi explained.

Kironinx stares at him before he glares at Ziphoteninx.

"What the heck did you put in his thoughts about his memories?!" He telepathy and growled at Ziphoteninx.

"It's not my fault. He's the one who asked what kind of person he was in the past so I explained a little bit." Ziphoteninx replied.

"You should have said he was brave and courageous! Wait, that's the same thing."

"I did!"

"Then, how come he doesn't want his memories, right now?!"

"How would I know?!"

The two quarrel in their heads while Kairi and Rafiz were confused with their silences. Kairi turns to Rafiz.

"I don't know what you thought about getting back our memories so… You decide it. I'll agree with your decision."

Kairi felt he can't be the one who made the decision so he asked for Rafiz's opinion.

Rafiz contemplated it for a moment. Of course, he wanted his memories back but… Since he befriended Dark Hartina and Dark Kurumi, his loneliness has slowly subsided. He doesn't think having them was important anymore.

"My answer is the same as yours. It's not important for now. It's better if we can focus on the war first. But…" He turned his head at the two wolves.

"They looked urgent."

Kairi had to agree with him. Ziphoteninx and Kironinx do look like they want them to have their memories back right away. He wondered why. Do their memories have something important or clue in them?

"Alright! Sigh… If you guys decide not to have it, fine. We won't force you." Ziphoteninx finally spoke to them again.

He seems a little angry but not towards Kairi or Rafiz. It was from the argument he had with Kironinx. He no longer cares about their memories.

Kairi suddenly feels bad and guilty. Ziphoteninx did help him a lot and there was more debt that he wasn't able to repay in his entire life. When he thought about it, Ziphoteninx and Kironinx requests weren't that hard to achieve. It would end in a minute or so.

So, he changed his mind. "Let's do it, Rafiz." He telepathy Rafiz.

Rafiz actually understood his meaning since he too had debt for Kironinx's silent protection. He nodded his head at Kairi. Then, they both looked at Ziphoteninx and Kironinx.

"We want our memories back," Kairi told them.

"Huh? Didn't you guys say you guys didn't want it?" Kironinx was confused.

Ziphoteninx's tail once again smacked his face. Kironinx, who was still irritated by the argument, bit his tail. Ziphoteninx snarled at him and he snarled back. Their vicious growling startled Kairi and Rafiz.

"Stop! Stop! What are you guys fighting for?!" Kairi yelled at them. He was also worried that their fight would alert the guards outside his room.

Both harrumphed and looked away from each other. Kairi sighed. He had a feeling they were fighting because of him and Rafiz's disagreement just now.

"Please, stop fighting. I am sorry, okay? I didn't mean to have you fighting each other." He apologised.

"Me too. Sorry…" Rafiz followed up.

The apologies startled Ziphoteninx and Kironinx. Their ears and tail dropped.

"Sorry... We have behaved unsightly. Please forgive us too."

Ziphoteninx and Kironinx realised their mistakes and whimpered. They didn't mean at all to make Kairi and Rafiz worry about them. After all, it's normal to fight between siblings.

Kairi and Rafiz were relieved. The fight shouldn't have happened if they had agreed to have their memories back. But, they were glad nothing serious occurred. After all, what'll happen if two Heaven's being fought with each other? They really don't want to know.
