Chapter 82: CHAPTER 82: SEA MONSTERS (2)

"That's the last one!" Virgo said while letting out a sigh of relief after ending the life of a monster he fought with.

 

"Yeah. Well done everyone." Ziphoteninx shook his body to let the water from his body pour out and then he made his body smaller.

 

He had turned into his true beast form when the monster couldn't be handled by his normal size.

 

"Hey, stop splashing the water everywhere!" Dark Ceilius yelled at him because he got wet by the latter.

 

The trio, Dark Markia and Kairi groups have put their all energy together to defeat the monsters after a short talk. They couldn't chat for too long due to some flying monsters able to get close and attack the shooter's device.

 

Now, they had just finished battling it but their heart still felt something bad was going to happen soon. Watching the dead monsters around them made them feel a silent fear of what would come next.

 

Ziphoteninx huffed at Dark Ceilius and ignored him. He walked away to Kairi's side. Everyone was alright and no one was hurt by the monsters thanks to his protection.

 

"Revioryx is not among them. This is worrying me." He informed them.

 

Some looked glad to hear it while the rest felt unpleasant about it. 

 

"You guys can come with us into our airship. We can talk there." Dark Kage said before he eyed the sky.

 

The invisible airship slowly descended and appeared in front of them all. It landed above the sea and a door from its side open and let out a small aisle for them to walk in.

 

Dark Kage went in first followed by Dark Ceilius, Dark Markia and Dark Amilia.

 

"Is it safe to be with them there? What if there's a trap hidden in it?" Cancer asked them.

 

"Don't worry. I trust they won't harm us with everything going on right now. They do want to know the truth behind Revioryx's attack on them. Let's take this chance to get close to them." Kairi replied before he went in with Aries by his side.

 

Ziphoteninx looked at the three people left. "Hurry up or we might leave you here."

 

So, everyone enters the airship. The airship slowly flew to the sky again and stagnated itself above the Axis City.

 

Dark Kage has brought them to a huge wide room where several seats have been prepared. A few monitoring screens were on the end side of the room for Dark Kage to inspect at.

 

"Now, tell us straight to the point. What exactly is going on here?" 

 

Dark Kage asked first after he and everyone took a seat surrounding a round table in the middle.

 

"Which one? Before the war or after the war?" Kairi replied with a small smile.

 

"Everything!"

 

"Alright. Then, we should start from the past first."

 

Kairi explained once again about the ancestors of twelve Bright Star users' tragedies and Revioryx's true identity. After listening to it all until the part where Dark Reammut was taken away by Dark Chronos and Revioryx, Dark Amilia finally wailed in grief.

 

It's because she thinks her sister would be tortured so cruelly by them. Dark Markia stood from her seat and went to hug her. She too has tears in her eyes, slowly falling down to her cheeks. As for Dark Kage and Dark Ceilius, their faces show so much anger and anguish.

 

They couldn't believe it but must believe it now. After all, they have seen Revioryx's true form as a monster. And who was crazy enough to follow such a creature?

 

"Shit! So, you're saying among fifteen of us, twelve are from you?" Dark Ceilius grit his teeth hard.

 

Kairi and his friends nodded.

 

"Except for Markia here, you three belong to our stellar family." Kairi didn't hide it.

 

They need to know about it. Dark Markia feels a little sad that she was excluded but she has known she wasn't one of them.

 

"I am sorry, Markia."

 

Dark Markia shakes her head. "I have known for a very long time. I just keep silent since it isn't the right time."

 

Everyone except Kairi snapped their heads at her in shock.

 

"You, You mean you know about the past?!" Dark Amilia stares at her with disbelief.

 

"Only pieces. I saw your face but it never happened in the current time since what I saw shows so many things that have no longer existed. Slowly I realised it has happened in the past." Dark Markia explains.

 

"And you hid them from Revioryx? Why would you do that?" Virgo was confused.

 

He didn't know the reason for Dark Markia to hide the scene she saw in the past and the future from Revioryx. Isn't she one of Revioryx's underlings?

 

Dark Markia gives him a small smile. "I am afraid I cannot answer this question.”

 

Everyone went silent at her answer. They want to know but if she doesn’t want to tell, then they should not force her. Suddenly, the lamp around them flickered and turned red with a loud warning alarm. Dark Kage rushed to the monitor and gasped in shock.

 

“Dark Kage, what happened?!” Dark Ceilius and Dark Amilia ran to either side of him and looked at the monitor as well.

 

Their eyes widened. As for Dark Markia and Kairi’s group, they all stood up from their seats.

 

“Revioryx! He has come with Ulukule and more monsters!” Dark Kage told them with frustration.

“Ulukule?!” Kairi and his group were astonished.

 

Ulukule was a legendary sea dragon and it was huge and long. It was bigger than Axis City or Antonia combined. It lives deep in the sea and has never appeared since three hundred years ago. The reason they recognised it was because they still have the drawing picture of it in the legendary monsters book.

 

Ulukule as in the drawing has hard blue aurora skins and it was said to be able to speak in human language and never bother to attack humans unless they disturb his sleep. Now, looking at the red eyes of the sea dragon which was supposed to be gold, they knew that it was no longer itself.

 

“My God, what should we do?! We can’t even hurt this guy with our weapons!” Virgo exclaimed.

 

“You! We haven’t even tried and you already said we can’t?! What mentality do you have?!” Dark Ceilius growled at him.

 

“No, you don’t understand! I heard that the sea dragon's body was blessed with the God of the Sea, Aqlion. Only a god’s weapon can hurt it!”

 

Everyone was once again shocked to hear it. 

 

“Then, our battle might be difficult this time. Ziphoteninx, please call the Bright Star users and the angels to get ready.” Kairi frowned.

 

Ziphoteninx went silent for a moment before he spoke again. “Done.”

 

Kairi nodded before he turned to Dark Kage who was typing lots of commands on the keyboards below the monitor. The Axis City was seen by them glowing brightly and a huge teleportation field was slowly carved under it. 

 

Dark Kage wants to move the city somewhere far from here since it has many valuable things he invented. But, he didn't know which place was safe since Revioryx can reach them everywhere.

 

“Dark Kage, send the Axis City to Antonia.” Kairi's suggestion startled him.

 

However, he didn’t refuse and he typed the command to send them next to Antonia City. Revioryx who saw the teleportation field narrowed his eyes. He was standing on top of the sea dragon head.

 

“Destroy it now!” He ordered the sea dragon.

 

The latter opened its mouth wide and a water beam laser appeared moving fast toward Axis City.

 

“Ziphoteninx!”

 

“I’m on it!”

 

Ziphoteninx appears outside the defence wall and creates a massive shield. The water beam hits the shield and explodes, bringing waves of blast water and wind to its surroundings. Revioryx growled when the city was gone after the explosion blast subsided.

 

“I should have killed him the moment he appears in Dorothia…” The person he mentioned was Dark Kage.

 

How can he predict that Dark Kage would create something bizarre to ruin his plans? Now, he really regrets it.

 

Axis City appeared suddenly beside Antonia that was still underground. The movement caused a lot of things in the city to fall. Kairi and others breathe out a sigh of relief.

 

“Revioryx doesn't have teleportation power but he will come after us in a few days with his armies of monsters.” Dark Kage told them.

 

“Then, let’s prepare ourselves because this might be our last battle with him.” Kairi walked near the four Deorc Star users and looked at them one by one.

 

“Will you fight with us?” He asked them.

 

Dark Amilia chuckled. “Do we even have a choice? To live, this is the only way.”

 

“Tsk! I hate this!” Dark Ceilius folded his hands.

 

Dark Kage sighed. “But our power is still insignificant compared to him. After all, he has taken all of your stellar’s powers. Tell me, what is our winning percentage against him, leader of Bright Star?”

 

Everyone turned their heads to Kairi. They have no confidence anymore after knowing Revioryx has Kairi’s power.

 

“Truthfully, we might only have one percent chance to defeat him. We can’t kill him but only can trap him. Which is the reason I want your help, Dark Kage.”

 

“My help?”

 

Kairi nodded. He then told them his ideas which astonished them all.

 

“It could work! But, with my power alone, I don’t think I can make those. I need someone with a powerful dimension to help me.”

 

“We have Agi to help you,” Aries stated.

 

“Then, please.”

 

“Alright, let’s meet with the others.” 

 

Kairi wants to make another meeting with Bright Star users and the angels.

“Wait! How about my little sister?!” Dark Amilia asked.

 

They can’t be... Forgetting about her, right? Dark Reammut is still in danger!

 

“That’s one of the reasons we’re going to talk about in the meeting, Amilia. We need to locate where she is with the help of the angels.” Kairi explained.

 

“I see… Thank, Thank you.” Dark Amilia was glad to hear it.

 

After that, they wait in the palace meeting chamber for everyone to gather.
