Chapter 89: CHAPTER 89: THE MOONGLYPH (2)

Kairi and Aries wore match attire and left their room. The guards outside had already given notice of his secret marriage that would not involve the citizens yet. They were going to hide until their king allowed them to announce it.

 

Kairi walks with Aries with their hands linked together. Their matching attire was enough to make everyone who didn't know they were married, gasp and happy for them. Some were jealous but they were afraid to show it. So, they just lower their head if they see them. 

 

As for people with keen eyes they could see Kairi and Aries matching rings which made them shocked and wonder if their king had married secretly. However, they have no proof yet. So, they can only gossip about it.

 

Kairi didn't stop them or care about it yet because he has something important to do. He brought Aries to the meeting room. Everyone attending the wedding and knowing Angelote saved his life was already waiting there. The guards opened the door and everyone stood up once they saw him and Aries.

 

Kairi brought Aries to the twin chair throne and he let her sit first before looking at all of them, including their parents. He nodded to them before he sat down. Then, everyone slowly follows.

 

"First and foremost, I want to thank you for coming to our wedding yesterday night." Kairi begins and smiles at all of them.

 

Some replied to his thanks.

 

"Now, before we ask and hear Angelote's explanation, I would like to know the progress of saving the survivors in the Eridan Kingdom and Revioryx's activities. Is Revioryx still there?" Kairi asked the users he sent there.

 

Dark Hartina stood up. He seems to have become a representative of information on Revioryx's attack lately. After all, he knew all the information since he's been gathering them from other groups. Everyone turned their head to him.

 

"The progress on saving the survivors is still ongoing. This is due to Revioryx irregular attacks that appear and disappear. What I mean is, if he attacks the west, he appears in the north or south next. We could not predict which area he wanted to destroy. Because after he massacred an area, he and his minions disappeared inside a thick fog made by the sea dragon."

 

Kairi narrowed his eyes. "It looks like he is making a fortress."

 

Everyone turned their head to him. Some have confused expressions.

 

"It may not be but according to the location he chooses, the Eridan Kingdom is surrounded by the sea. A strategic place to build his next fortress. What do you think, Leo, Auriga?"

 

"We have thought the same too, Your Majesty. We have questioned why he would attack the Eridan Kingdom after the Dorothia Kingdom. He could have attacked the nearby kingdoms but he didn't. He chose a faraway kingdom and an island to be exact." Auriga answered after standing and Dark Hartina took his seat again.

 

"It is possible that he is making a fortress there, Your Majesty," Leo said in agreement.

 

"Then, I guess everyone knew what to do after this. Please treat the saving process as an extremely dangerous level. He could aim or trap you there to kill you."

 

"Understood!" All the Stellar users answered him simultaneously.

 

"It seems we still have time but the longer we take to defeat Revioryx, the bigger his armies of minions are. Leo, Auriga, I would like for you both to stay in Antonia to train our armies."

 

"We will follow your orders!" Leo and Auriga bowed to him.

 

Kairi turned his head to Dark Kage. "Kage, I know you might be busy with the task I gave you before but could you help us by inventing something to strengthen our armies?"

 

"Sure, if you pay me." His answers got a glare from both side users.

 

He still thinks about payment at this crucial time?!

 

Even Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius looked at him with a death glare.

 

"What? I was just joking! How can you all think I would ask for that?! I'm. So. Hurt…!" Dark Kage put one hand on his heart and looked sad at them.

 

He adjusted his expression to look more dramatic. Everyone rolled their eyes at him. They knew he had no feelings at all. Still, some pity him silently because he was no longer a human but a robot.

 

Aries chuckled because the scene in front of her was funny right now. She was startled when Kairi took her hand in his to hold. But his gaze was still looking at their friends.

 

"Thank you then, Kage. By the way, Agi, I would like you to help Kage. Your power of dimension is needed." He said to Agi next.

 

"Okay," Agi answered without hesitating.

 

He guessed the task Kairi gave to Dark Kage must need his help. Pegasus beside him looked unhappy. He would be separated from Agi again.

 

"Alright. Now that's done. Angelote, are you ready to tell us about your problem?" Kairi looked at him.

 

Angelote gulped. "Can I still refuse to-…?"

 

"No!" Everyone cut his words.

 

Angelote looked dejected. Jaaq who sits beside him, pat his shoulder.

 

"Angelote, don't carry your burden alone anymore. Can't you see? We are all here to help you." He advised him.

 

"I know, uncle but everyone's hands are full with Revioryx right now? How can I add more problems to all of you?"

 

Everyone finally understands why he doesn't want to involve them.

 

"It's okay, Angelote. You can add more problems to us."

 

Angelote was shocked by Kairi who said it. He snapped his head to him.

 

"It's actually disturbing not to know what other enemies we might face. Better to know it now than later." Virgo folded his hands.

 

"Yeah. After all, what if your enemies become Revioryx friends?" Pegasus thought that could happen.

Kairi shook his head, exhausted by Angelote's scaredy-cat expression.

 

"Is Angelote always in fear, honey?" He telepathy Aries silently.

 

"I don't think so. By the way, Kairi, did you know that he is one of the vigilantes? The group that steals money from the corrupted rich people and gives it to charity. I was shocked to find out about it last night when he was helping you."

 

"I see. I haven't entered his memories since I was kind of busy last night." He smirked at her and made her blush.

 

She hit him gently. "Well, are you going to enter his mind now? I can't seem to do it since he has built a wall around his thoughts and memories."

 

"No, I want to hear him tell us on his own."

 

They look at Angelote once more who finally relented.

 

"Okay, okay, I will tell you! Geez, you guys are the one forcing me to tell you so don't come complaining to me if you can't handle my enemies later."

 

"You can't hide anymore anyway." Dark Sethan chuckled.

 

Angelote glared at him before he sighs. 

 

"What I'm telling you guys is the top secret of the Moonglyph. As you already know, Sir Undria and Miss Markia are also from the same group as me. We, precisely to say, cannot be called a human species. We are a Moonglyph species. But if you are confused about this, you may think of us as a human species."

 

"What is the difference between us?" Cancer was confused.

 

"Not much different actually other than our power is half light and half darkness type."

 

"But Undria has a healing ability. That's a light type." Pisces told them.

 

Undria's eyes slowly darkened. Same for Dark Markia. Aquarius, whose seat was in front of the two realised their change of expression.

 

"Undria, Markia, you both… Really have two types of power?" She asked slowly.

 

"Really?!" Everyone stares at them in surprise.

 

Dark Undria and Dark Markia glanced at each other before they nodded.

 

"We have." They both said simultaneously.

 

"Would you like to tell us about your power if you don't mind?" Kairi gently asked them.

 

Both nodded at him. Dark Undria slowly put his hand on the table. They see that he was wearing a pair of black gloves.

 

"Now that I think about it… Didn't Undria always wear his gloves? He doesn't take them off even when he sleeps." Dark Amilia finally realises something.

 

"How do you know that he didn't take them off when he was asleep?" Dark Ceilius looked at her in wonder.

 

"He didn't though. My secret surveillance showed me he didn't take them off at all. If there's blood or dirt, he would just wash it along with his gloves." Dark Kage intensifies Dark Amilia's words.

 

"Really? Wait, what?! You have put surveillance on us?!" Dark Ceilius looked at him with astonishment before it turned to anger.

 

"No…" Dark Kage looked away when everyone from the Deorc Star stared at him.

 

They all knew he lied and glared murderously at him.

 

"I knew that he was a pervert!" Lusophia growled.

 

"I am not! And hey, I don't have feelings. So, how can I feel anything even if I see you all naked?"

 

His sentences made almost everyone there finally want to beat him. They would have done it if not for Kairi using his power to make them freeze in their seat.

 

"Alright, calm down. You can beat him later after the meeting is over. By the way, Kage, please don't make it a habit to put surveillance in everyone's private room here in Antonia. If you did, I might have to punish you severely, do you understand?"

 

Dark Kage gulped at Kairi's threatening eyes which glowed in green and white vertical eyes in the middle. Not just him, everyone there could see it too and be shocked by it.

 

"Kairi, your eyes?!" Rafiz stood up in anxiety after looking at the change.

 

Kairi turned to him and smiled. "I'm fine. I think it appears…" He looked at Aries who was blushing again.

 

He grins at her. "After I confess my love for Aries. Don't worry. The eyes have no relation with the curse."

 

Everyone was relieved to hear it. But, it was strange for it to happen just after confessing. 

 

Maybe Kairi was weird then? Because he was their leader…? And who knows if Queen Siarah has such eyes or not either.
