Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Interest of a Group.

Itrisa city right now is a mix of Royal family, noble, guild and other groups that try to take advantage or to gain something after the monster tide if the city survives the tide. Sylas to avoid the conflict or being used by another power decided to make a secret base, half an hour walk from Itrisa city and send Ryan and Everly into the city to gather information and to see if there is news inside the adventure guild about the monster tide.

Once again Sylas is thankful to his dead teacher diary Augustus Griffiths, although Sylas looks young he is in fact an old man in heart and mind, when he comes into this world it is not like he knows everything the only thing he got is a young body. The knowledge inside of Augustus' crystal ball also helped him.

Right now, Sylas is beside the mountain wall and starts using spells to dig holes to create a chamber. Levi and Luna are busy creating an illusion formation for their safety. A group of puppets with happy or sad masks are protecting them and Levi and Luna also have made some explosion potion to protect themselves.

After a few hours Sylas have created 3 bedrooms, an alchemy chamber, secret chamber inside one of the bedrooms, kitchen and toilet. For the furniture Sylas already bought it in the previous town and put it inside space storage. He also lent the space pouch to Ryan and Everly to buy goods in Itrisa city.

"Levi, Luna, how is the formation?"

"Teacher, it's done, you can check it."

"Okay it's done. Let's go hunting some food."

"Yes teacher!" Both of them look excited when Sylas mentions food because they like to eat Sylas cooking.

While hunting Sylas managed to hunt a few chickens, Sylas decided to cook crispy fried chicken, mash potato and gravy for dinner. He also makes a few more extra food in case Ryan and Everly return.

"This crispy fried chicken is good." Luna's eyes look like someone that has been possessed.

"Yes it's good, sis please stop taking my chicken, there is more on that plate."

"Don't be stingy, women need more food than men."

"Senior, are you there, we can't find you?" Ryan shouted.

Sylas open the entrance to the illusion formation.

"Finally we found you, I thought we were in the wrong place, what that smell is, it smells so good."

"We talk after dinner, eat first."

Inside the chamber, Sylas divided the room between the man and the woman, for Sylas he gets one room for himself with the secret chamber.

"Now, tell me what information that you get."

After listening to Ryan information, if you don't have influence inside the city you will be used as a canon folder, but most people don't really care they just saw the reward that will be given to them by the royal family and their guild.

"In the end the royal family and the noble will get the benefit, there is no such thing as good and evil, only Interest. We still need more information at the same time, we need to get stronger. I will stay in my room for an experiment. Levi and Luna start making the potion that we plan in the alchemy chamber, Ryan and Everly practice their skill and hunt monsters at the same time visit the city in a few days to get more information." All of them agreed.

Inside the secret chamber, creating mana core from human and monster takes time, what Sylas does is no different than necromancer because he is using the human part and turning it to mana core and putting it inside a puppet. The problem with this method is that he needs a heart or mind of apprentice rank or above to make mana core.

It's much easier just learn to become necromancer, he can just raise an army of undead if he just has a corpse, but necromancer is hated in Vechos continent because of great war long ago when most kingdom uses necromancer in war, and majority of necromancer is a grave robbing corpse no want like it, if your family member get defilement after dead. After that war most kingdoms have signed a treaty that banned practicing necromancer.

Why does he not want to use mana stone to create mana core because mana core created by mana stone, cannot recharge itself like mana core created from heart or mind of human and monster.

"The mana core is not the only problem but I also need a more efficient method to create the puppet." The puppet that Sylas made has a variety. The inexpensive one is made of wood and the most expensive one is made of rare metal.

"If only I could create an assembly robot like in my old world." After saying that Sylas has been thinking for a long time.

"I don't have enough mana core to make the assembly system, that means I need to use mana core created by mana stone." The problem is to recharge the mana core, require a lot of mana stone, he need to find mana stone mine but he don't have enough time to find it, there are other way to make the mana core to gather energy by itself by drawing a magic formation on the mana core but he just know basic about formation in Augustus Griffiths inheritance.

"It's useless to think about it right now, I will go to Itrisa city later to find out more about formation master, now it's time to make mana core."

Itrisa city black market, the information that Sylas try to find is considered confidential only few know about it in Loulan kingdom.

"It looks like I just need to find more mana stones."

Sylas suddenly had a commotion, when he heard what that man shouted.

"The Mana void is weakening; the monster tide is coming!" Every person that hears what that man says starts to run toward their own organization to tell their leader about this news.

"It looks like I need to return to the secret base first, they all are over there, teleporting." Sylas vanished on the street.
