Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Honest Merchant.

Sylas decided to open a merchant shop and fix his puppet that had been destroyed by the undead. This time he needs to gather more funds and goods before going to explore the Sandy Grasslands Desert.

Esasa city in the Yhasas kingdom. Group of men and women are walking with 9 camels each camel pulling a cart loaded with ore. Their Tribe Chief Aron has been trying to sell the ores, the only problem is the price that the merchant offers is too low. They have hundreds of people to feed in the tribe, if they don't bring enough food some of the elderly people will starve to death again.

Aron has visited most of the merchant shops in the city but the price they offer is almost the same. They all decided to find an empty area to sleep for the night, because they don't have enough money to rent a room and warehouse.

"Chief, what do we do now?" One of the women in the group asked.

"Amiela, before we find a place to rest, we will go to one more merchant. If we still get a low price, we will go to the merchant that offers us a slightly higher price tomorrow." Aron says.

"I think if we go back to that merchant shop tomorrow, the price will be lower." Amiela says with a sigh.

"Chief in front of us has a merchant shop." One of the men said,

The merchant shop that the man speaks to is located near a secluded road, the name of the shop is Eclipse merchant. Aron asks them to stay outside the shop. Entering the Eclipse merchant shop, he can see various bottles and glass vials are on display inside the glass cabinet. reading the label of the glass cabinet, he knows that this shop sells medicine and potion. Aron decided to leave the shop because he is selling ore not herb.

"Hello, how can I help you?" A man wearing a mage robe asks.

"Sorry, I entered the wrong shop." Aron begins to walk toward the door, but he suddenly stops and asks. "Does this shop buy ore?" He has nothing to lose by asking the mage.

"Can I see the ore first?" The mage asks.

Aron gives the shopkeeper the ore that he has kept. The mage eyes begin to glow slightly; he checks the ore without any tools. After a while that mage stops looking at the ore and asks. "How many more do you have?"

"9 carts loaded with ore." Aron says with excitement.

The mage asks for permission to check all the cart first before negotiating the price. Aron agreed, after checking all the ore the mage found no problem with the ore. The group of men and women that travel with Aron just watch the mage in case the mage does anything strange.

"I offer 25 gold coins for all of the ore." The mage says.

All of the man and woman's eyes open wide when they hear about the price. "Excuse me, do you say 25 gold coins?" Aron asked.

"Yes, 25 gold coins, do you think the price is too low?" The mage asks.

"No No No! The price is reasonable. Aron quickly says.

After that the mage pays Aron the 25 gold coin, and uses his space pouch to store all the ore and return to the shop.

"Chief, do you think we are cheating that mage?" Amiela asks.

"No, the one that offers the price is him, not us." Aron says.

"But the price of all the ore normally is 5 or 6 gold coins. Amiela says.

"Sigh, I also feel bad, but I need to think about our tribe first. Let's go eat good food and find a room to stay." Aron says. All the men and women cheer after hearing what Aron says.

Inside the shop, the mage closes the shop and goes down to the basement. The mage is Sylas, he hears everything that Aron says but he doesn't really care. Using his identify spell he can detect a rare material Adamantite inside the ore. Stronger than Sylas' dagger and armor made by Mithral. The basement below the shop right now has become a large chamber and the puppets have been made or repaired. The largest puppet that is being repaired right now is the Bronze Dragon Puppet. Right now Sylas still has 3 master rank mana cores that he hasn't used, he is still deciding what new puppet he should create.

Last night the Aron group were having fun because they had enough money to buy food and material that the tribe wanted. Filling all the carts with food and goods, Aron and the group are ready to go home. When the other tribe sees the cart full of food and goods, they decide to ask where Aron buys the goods and the price. They all get surprised because the price of the goods and food are still the same, which only means that Aron manages to sell the ore at a high price.

After asking Aron, Aron decides to tell them what happened. Other tribes that heard about it quickly went to the Eclipse merchant shop. In the evening outside of Sylas shop full of people selling ore or goods. Sylas like usual will check the stuff first, after that offer the price of the ore and goods. Some of the people after getting the payment decide to buy something inside the Eclipse merchant shop, when they know what is the function of the medicine and potion they get excited because for them all of the items inside the shop are rare for them.

Aron after hearing what happened, he hastily goes to the Eclipse merchant shop to buy some medicine or potion. Since that day Sylas has been known as an honest merchant by the Sandy Grasslands tribe. Sylas after closing his shop will work in his Underground chamber or in meditation. But Sylas actions have caused other merchant shops to be unhappy, and they begin a plan to silence the Eclipse merchant shop.
