"It is called the Illuminating Illusory Kingdom, hah, they were my most precious time spent on their Kingdom as I was studying their Universe. When I started growing Main Kingdom myself, they were the first to support them, to encourage and even fund them, as Main Kingdom was too poor in resources that not even I was able to want to live there for long, let alone Ellie... hahahaha...! ...Ah..." Towards the end of his words, KC suddenly became too silent, as he had a lost expression and lost eyes that looked up at the ceiling of his office.
“...Then, what about the God Race?” Yun Beishang only gave the melancholic man a little of 3 seconds to reminisce before continuing his ‘heartless’ questioning, the expression of his face still without emotion, and with some glints of derisiveness still on it. KC went back to being the mysterious being that he is as he lowered his head and pursed his lips a few times.
“They were situated in another, faraway place from the Universe. They were, altogether, owners of half the Universe, all of it was for themselves while the Kingdoms of the ‘ordinary’ people was only an eight of the entire Universe. Mm, I’m sure some of that was understood by you half a month ago?” Yun Beishang nodded, but said nothing and only looked back at Krayeke, still waiting and urging for him to continue.
“Well,” sitting back down onto his chair, letting his old back rest pleasantly on his chair, KC sighed for about 5 seconds on and on before continuing at last. “They are a Race, a Clan; that can’t be trifled with, Yun Beishang. Even though what you saw last time, that one person that ended up being devoured by the Responsive Dragon of this era, would be but a small servant in the God Race from the past.”
“But I’m not talking about a past that is from the same Universe; no. I’m talking about the past from before they were exiled and pushed far away into the cage that is the universe of Main Kingdom. Because, Yun Beishang, if it was the God Race from back then, the old me from long ago wouldn’t even be able to lift his finger without being cautious of being stared at by them.”
“They used to be the most venerated race of all times from all Existences, well, endless eons and existences after the disappearance of an old myth. Anyways, they are not called ‘God’ Race or ‘God’ Clan because of their power, or because of their technology, which was vastly advanced even in the rest of the Universe; let alone Main Kingdom.”
“Their each child would be, at the very least, be born at the apex of Main Kingdom, while their best sons and daughters would be born directly as a being. I am sure that you, the Yun Beishang as of right now, can’t really understand what it means to become. But with your mental capacity, I’m sure that you are able to tell that ‘being’ is something that is well beyond what you could ever hope to face.”
KC took some time to breathe deeply in as he straightened his back before letting it relax once more, the sensation marveled him quite as he then spoke in the same tone as before but with much more at ease.
“Long story short, they’ve been at that Universe, caged and exiled from an unknown entity for countless eons. It’s been to the point that when I arrived at their galaxies for the first time, I wondered how they have had not become crazy already. Being so strong at birth, so powerfully indestructible and special in their own ways of living, fighting, surviving and coexisting. It is difficult to think that they would be able to hold it together after so long.”
“And it was also in my first visit to their clan that I found out why. The reason of why they were able to endure so long without turning into mad dogs was because of the fact that their most cherished and omnipotent ancestor, their true Goddess from time immemorial, had reincarnated among their offspring. With the parents of this Goddess having died at her birth, and with the Goddess regaining her intellect and whatnot instantly as a few seconds old baby.”
“That baby, Yun Beishang, was born just a few eons before I arrived at that Universe. But what surprised, and worried me, was that she was just a mortal with an endless lifespan that never got sick but was one hundred percent powerless. Basically, like one of those miracles of Earth where a person has everlasting life, cannot get sick and is immune to all poisons but has no power whatsoever; so silly and pointless.”
“And yet, that little girl managed to easily command a Race of hundreds of trillions for eons.” KC’s eyes reflected respect, he even shook his head slightly as he gazed upwards in remembrance and as his eyes also glimmered with praise before they turning downcast and shadowed as he then continued with somber words. “Which is also how it all came to her own people…betraying her.”
“With one of the oldest members of the God Race finally snapping into madness, he ate the Goddess’ body randomly, on a day where he was just walking around as he suddenly began tearing her body apart, flesh, bones, blood, organs, hair and even her clothes were all engulfed by that mad fuck’s actions!!”
KC seemed so enraged, hurt and filled with grief when he heard of this, he had to take a ton of long breaths before beginning to calm down, which was also accomplished only after a good while. He then opened his lips again, this time back to his calm but seemingly serious tone as he added.
“They tried to cover it up… At first, they were confused and raging to this happening, but it was so shocking that no one could ever stop it. And later on, as they saw their first person reaching the level of their previous clan, where even though one could only be a servant back then, they could now rule over Main Kingdom…they slowly began to turn their hearts and change their views… so wrong.”
“Naturally, it ever escaped my sight. As the only existence around and with there not being any being, nor anyone close to it. I also wanted to make the little girl my disciple after I finished finding a husband for Ellie, but she was so adamant in being single that I never had the chance. Even Katia was uncaring about it, sigh, women, am I right?”
Seeing KC trying to cover up his sadness with a bad joke, Yun Beishang snorted ever so lightly with his nostrils and wobbled his head to the left in a tilt before relaxing his eyelids.
“I was always with my senses on her, as such, not only could I see her shocked face, her grieving and the way she wanted nothing more but stop the oldest God Race member and to guide him well even as she was already dead and being eaten piece by piece. But… I-I-I could also…feel her thoughts vanish as she doubted whether giving up her powers to bring the Race she created from nothing once again into the truly Godly race that it once was.”
“Nobody but I knew until now,” KC looked at Yun Beishang meaningfully, before continuing with the same tone in his voice, “That she had done so much for her own people, even going as far as letting go of her power to instead guide them herself. She could’ve be born and just escaped that cage of an Universe at once, but chose another path to her previous one.”
“One where she wouldn’t fight and make bloodshed anywhere she went to gain recognition and fear, but one where she would redeem herself. Alas…”
KC relaxed his back onto his chair and extended his own arms in the same way as Yun Beishang’s, 2 minutes later, he went back to his previous sitting position as he randomly said; shocking Yun Beishang silly. “And that little girl, boy, is in your head.”
Yun Beishang: “!!!”
“H-how, what-...don’t fucking tell me-” Yun Beishang sat straight back up again at a realization, KC was looking straight at his forehead and was not even trying to hide it, memories of a little girl that has been endlessly raped and tortured unimaginably by bandits etching into his mind like an instinct.
“SHE?!” KC only nodded calmly and even somewhat slowly at Yun Beishang’s words, as he then smacked his lips open lightly and tilted his head slightly to the left, “But she is not like Katia, still there. This other girl… I’m afraid she is long gone…dead.”
“...” Instead of saying anything, Yun Beishang kept his silence to allow KC and himself to grief upon it. Even as the occurrence that such a thing should be to worry about, Yun Beishang never felt anything wrong with his head, not since the White Space entered it; anyways. If there was a point to do something, anything to him, it would’ve happened already as Yun Beishang himself is really too reckless a lot of times.
As such, with his eyelids and eyeballs lowered, Yun Beishang just sat in silence while KC also seemingly eased himself up with time. After a little bit of time, both men were more or less tranquil and, having moved on, Yun Beishang was the one to speak as he continued his questionnaire.
“How old are you, and Ellie? This is just curiosity, Ellie is my woman and she will always be with me, after all.” KC didn’t look offended at all when he heard the first few words, but the mention of Ellie only being with him from now on kinda irked him, so he responded in rather annoyance. “Older than your mom.”
Yun Beishang: “...............”
“Cough, let me put it this way.” Krayeke blushed, a sight some would pay to see, record and to frame in their house’s portraits for a fortune, as he then changed the subject and prayed for Yun Beishang not to talk about it ever again. “From how old Earth is right now…”
“Mhm,” Yun Beishang nodded, indicating he was following up to here. KC continued without feeling interrupted at all, “Then 1,000 times that…”
“Huh?” Yun Beishang huh’ed, feeling ver dumb but still understanding as he did not try and interrupt the old man speaking nonsense. KC, once again, did not take offense and instead continued with eager calmness. “Then ten times that, each one is an eon. Ellie is a few thousands eons old. Just a few more than me, heh heh, me and her mother had her very young, how embarrassing.”
Yun Beishang: (ノꐦ ๑´Д`๑)ノ彡┻━┻

Just the same way that Yun Beishang reacted and didn’t notice how KC turned like once he started talking about his wife, similarly, KC didn’t notice Yun Beishang’s reaction as he became all dumb and lost in his precious but gone memories. “To be exact, she is 3,400 eons old. Wow, how time flies, no, wife?”
But Yun Beishang then finally saw the grief of a father, a husband; as he then turned silent and allowed the man’s eyes to be as lost as they wanted to, but not for too long. KC heard Yun Beishang’s voice once more, but this time, with a trembling excitation that he was very familiar with. After all, he himself was like that long ago, in his pastful self.
“Kra-no, Father-in-law. How about telling me of…’those’? The so called ‘being’ and ‘existing’?” Like a child looking for the mention of a new candy, Yun Beishang even got closer to the holoscreen while still sitting, bending over and stretching his neck to a level that it would make even turtles shameful of their lowliness.
“Hahaha-ha, eh?” Amidst his sudden burst of laughter, KC felt weird as he began treating this fool young child like his own son. With his countenance turning grim, KC adopted a teacher’s stance, while sitting, and said to him in a very much different tone than ever before.
“Yun Beishang, listen well. For as though this will not affect you anytime sooner, it very well may in the not so distant future. A few years from now ro so, which is why I am lowering myself to accept you as my student, even if it’s just to show you your own way.”
“Being. Is not the calling of someone to something or someone else’s state, but the transcendence that one has once one has reached the latest level known to even godly and immortal beings. When one becomes, they are no longer just an entity, but a power in the Universe that they were born to, and or, have become one in.”
Yun Beishang frowned, but of course, how the fuck would he understand any of this? Even as he had gone through a lot of shit, to the point that he now sees as normal the fact that there is a game out there whose world exists and is dying, and from which Yun Beishang is now eternally linked to from all the things he’s done, achieved and got from. Be it power, strength, his precious women and even the pain he’s suffered.
But from what he could tell, there were obvious different realms, steps, levels or phases. There was the mortal phase, which the game itself has been hinting at him and… probably anyone else with a brain and the opportunity of experiencing certain events.
Then, there was the beyond a mortal’s realm that he knew nothing of. Either beyond this realm or another one in-between, was the becoming that Krayeke was speaking of. It was also the phase in which the God Race’s from yore would have their best children be born as. Then, as if thinking of something, Yun Beishang opened his mouth only to be interrupted right after.
“How about the way in which one can be-”
“To become, one has to attain an Essence. It is in this manner that an entity becomes and that they are able to do things not even they can do with their endless lifespan. Ellie is not a being, she is on her own way to becoming one. As you now know, she is older than you could ever think of, yet, among the many Universes and Existences I’ve been around. She is one of the youngest to reach her stage at that age. Others usually take an entire clean state of an Universe before reaching halfway through her current stage.”
‘She is that amazing, then I…?’ Yun Beishang was thinking with a frown, but even if he had an expressionless countenance, he would still be perfectly read with ease by the wise Krayeke. As the latter then blinked his eyes slowly, softly before continuing, “In the same manner, Nora is a being, though she is not only younger than Ellie, but also only a few thousand years older than yourself, Yun Beishang.”
Yun Beishang: “?!”
Without giving the stunned boy a chance, KC casually spoke but with his eyes betraying the pride in his eyes. “A felled couple that I knew of…left me with their daughter, naturally, I have to take care of her with the best of capabilities. I had to bring her grandpa with me though, that one is none other but Klaus whom you’ve met quite a lot.”
‘Klaus!’ And just as Yun Beishang was calming himself down from the shock, KC’s squinted eyes looked at Yun Beishang in scrutiny as he continued without a pause, “She has done a lot for you, Yun Beishang. Even as she wasn’t supposed to, and even as she has been restraining herself before and is now even more restrained since that event of the past.”
‘Nora…’ Uttering out her name with tenderness inside his mind, Yun Beishang reminisced of the time he fell unconscious and basically; into a coma. The feeling of her naked body against his, only for the sake of his survival and the days in which she was the only one he could ever depend on. That one year that all he had was her, and that all she did was to take care of him unconditionally.
“How…what do you mean by, ‘restraining’...herself?”
Hearing his overly worried words, KC felt that this kid, though a beast for relationships, worthy enough of taking in so many of them. Feeling pleased with this Yun Beishang, KC answered truthfully, as a sleepy Nora Béart opened her eyes without any sleepiness. And if looks could kill, while talking, they would say ‘you betrayed me, uncle!!’ as she glared at KC who was on New Earth.
“Ahem, phew, a bit warm around here…” KC suddenly acted rather uncomfortably, he twisted his waist as he accommodated himself on the chair over and over again, all while a completely clueless Yun Beishang could not tell what was going on.
“Nora…is a Succubus, Yun Beishang. But, before you get any weird ideas, it isn’t like those of here on New Earth. Which for some reason, your people thinks them to be sexual crazed creatures that base their life around sex. Crazy fucks.” As KC cursed under his breath, in helplessness and disgust, he then continued after drinking a few more sips from his glass of water.
“Nora’s Race is one that is worshiped even among all Existences, every Universe has an idol to pray and venerate even; except this one…anyways, that’s not important right now.” Krayeke almost lost himself to his own thoughts as he frowned his eyebrows deeply, which made even Yun Beishang wholly surprised.
“So, as I was saying. Even though it is nothing like what your weird people think of, they do have a strong feature that involves mating. And in crude words; sex. Well, that is only for their partner to know, as a Succubus can either be a creature of having many or just one partner for their entire lives at the same time.”
“From that, you gotta know that there are many who die lonely after their partner dies, and some who witnessed all of their lovers’ deaths before reaching their own. As for Nora, I didn’t know which kind she was, until she met you. Even as you were a kid, and don’t even start with that, she had seen in you exactly what your own sister and Miss Natalia had seen in you back then.”
“Besides, she held you the longest when you were born and when you were being tested, she was the one to do the whole thing herself.”
“Well, now, for as what you asked me about her. Sigh, ‘restraining’ herself. You see, as a Succubus, Nora has to mate with her chosen partner soon after they meet that partner. Be it a month to up to a year. The time is minuscule and it’s a rather fately matter that cannot be explained, they are a Race in charge of so many Universe and of an entire Existence as well after all.”
“Which means that-” Before KC could say a single thing more of his own words, Yun Beishang said them himself, almost as if he could read KC’s mind. When in truth, Yun Beishang had simply guessed after having become interested in Nora, Ellie and his Little Cindy’s bodies which were very weird to him after he formed his First Form. “Means that she has been restraining her sexual needs for me all this long, suffering all the while?”
“...Yes.” Seeing Yun Beishang wave his hand and being interrupted but with his guess being on spot, KC responded a bit later.
“And then, from what else?” Yun Beishang asked, with KC casually giving him the answer in a light tone, “From destroying this world. Just like before, if she were to just be herself while in this planet, she would instantly destroy it, before the rest of the galaxy, and then the Universe itself, would collapse. That is, because this Universe…is rather weird.”
“Anyway, I made Nora keep half her strength in check at all times, which would’ve been more than enough for the safekeeping of this world. But she ended up not only restraining the other half of her strength up for you, to keep herself sane and not rape you in your teenage years. But as she also gave a bit of her brain and soul to yourself.”
Yun Beishang: “!!!!!”
“What?!” Feeling incredibly shocked, as well as getting the answer that has been prickling at his ears and brain like the worst torments of them all, Yun Beishang did not felt good at all as he instead directly jumped from his chair and gave KC a goddamn ‘fucking tell me’ glance with a pair of bloodshot—besides baggy as fuck—eyes staring right through space back to New Earth.
