Panic At The Precious Chrysoberyl Sub-Division, Worry For The Entire Wonder Region!

When the many smallish settlements of all around the northern Regional border of the Wonder Region, outside the territory of the Precious Chrysoberyl Sub-Division's territory, were 'visited' with their farmers bringing back home some invaders and then later on showed the system's contract to their utter disbelief and confusion at the situation even as some farmers retold the other villagers of the battles where the invaders took out all of the Journeyers so effortlessly.

Even as their hearts lunged when they saw the benefits, they did not dare to believe in them, chose to believe that it was a sort of tricks or something similar to previous 'incidents' against the lusty and greedy Journeyers from before. Even as they were proven entirely wrong as just a mere couple of items began to make luxurious and magical results on the newly improvised and poor crops made at their villages where they then saw the very same produce endless quantities and of better and better qualities nonstop.

And even as the Inhabitants were also answered a question at most about their doubts or curiosities, mainly form the Abysmal Creatures that were then known to be reared and grown up by the Lord's hands and no one else's. There were still so many 'accidents' that were simply the most basic of tragic situations that there could ever occur.

Be it a brave hot-blooded ignorant youth, of any gender, or an older person of any gender as well that tried to take a foot after taking half a centimeter and so on. There were some discussions, conflicts and some improper mistakes; from which they were then elevated up to the killing until the unnecessary and futile resistance desisted at last.

Most other such conflicts and problems arising were... naturally not as bad as the ones that were elevated in intensity over time or right away, but there was still so many incidents that made these smallish settlements' Inhabitants to turn fearful and become fragile but also with some more possibilities of biting back.

In the end, however, there were more kills from resisting fellows who just did not know that their current situation wasn’t that bad and were way too reckless and anxious to arm up to their own ultimate deaths. Whether it be because of pent up frustration and unwillingness from previous arrangements made by none other than the other Journeyers or the feeling of heroism, bravery… so many fell for no reason.

But, The Order, towards all of these acts and results from all over the utmost whole northern Regional border of the Wonder Region, not a single hesitation was shown when having to deal with others with the hardest hand. They were so cruel and decisive, but not xenophobe, as they even gave those who did commit resistance and were to be killed a chance to desist, yet not only did they become apprehensive but they instead turned bolder and encouraged.

It was bad even to the point that no longer did The Order’s army soldiers were willing to give them any more chances, as they were now aware that they could make other peoples’ lives be endangered for a simple sense of compassion to their confusion and to the feeling of their lands being invaded so suddenly and without any protection, even being completely and wholly abandoned by their previous ‘owners’.

But just as the massacres ended from the worst side of certain smallish settlements, it was then the time for those Inhabitants that they were really not changing owners by mere force between the outsider parties fighting it out… it was really a kind of revolution, rebellion to their previous status as ‘hard workers’ and a hope for a new future… maybe?

At the same time, there wasn't just Journeyers from the ‘owning’ parties around such smallish settlements, as there were so many billions of players from all over the gaming world of Rising Essence’s Main Kingdom that were idle and would go for some idle time as well as those who were Sub-Class only players, and whose fun time was to go around and meeting new Inhabitants while collecting all collectible resources that they saw and met on their path.

As such, though there was a lot of unrest for these smallish settlements on the northern side of the outskirts of the Precious Chrysoberyl Sub-Division, not all of them were as smooth as just going towards one of them or more, getting everyone to peacefully agree to their new terms and then leave. With the taking of prisoners or killing resisting ‘forces’ being finished quite quickly, there were too many instances in which Journeyers around were involved and things got messier than in other smallish settlements.

. . .

In a certain village that was pretty close to becoming a common one, that of ‘small’ and no longer the worst ‘smallish’ type of settlement anymore, with clean roads and enough livestock far away the residential houses of the same.

“Hmm,” a Journeyer was peacefully watching the interface of the system and thinking a bit about it, as an elite player, he needed his good rest from lots of fightings and raids to new Dungeons and Private Dungeons that he needed to go for gearing up and leveling every new update and now; every expansion as well as their updates each.

“Huh? Hmm… this motherfucker is really something eh? Why do I only see The Order’s members on top of all the lists? The only reason they are not also in ‘charge’ of the Association Leaderboard is because they aren’t spread out or something, heh-heheh!” The Journeyer then shook his head as he was just about to continue to read further down below when, suddenly, the system announcements made him jump in surprise.

*PING* Global System Announcement: ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS!!!

*PING* Global System Announcement: ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS!!!

*PING* Global System Announcement: ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS, ATTENTION TO ALL JOURNEYERS!!!

*PING* Global System Announcement: Attention to all Journeyers…

“!!!” The Journeyers dropped his hands as if he was just now reading a magazine, ‘throwing’ to his left side the whole thing as the Leaderboards’ interface disappeared from the front of his eyes and he seemingly looked at a certain part of the smallish village out of instinct.

Stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp…

‘Oh no… no-n-no way, right?!’ The Journeyer thought but, before his widened eyes and sweaty face could go down his slightly chubby face, he saw a bunch of riders begin to massacre the entire Journeyer ‘population’ staying within the smallish village without caring if it was a simple Journeyer, their level and affiliation and even less so if they were a Sub-Class Only player or from an Union; they were all killed on the spot!

But that was still quite some distance away from his current position, he could just run away or take a teleportation to another place. However, as he crushed an item from his inventory and got a sweet notification from the system, crushing his hopes just as hard as he had crushed that one item himself…

*PING*...the Wonder Region is in war period and under the In War status at the current moment, all settlements that aren’t of the greatest size have their teleportation points and respawn points nullified.

But right after, a kind of comforting system notification arrived at his retinas yet again, not knowing if it was to his surprise or dismay…

*PING*...you’ve received a new quest: [Defense Against the Invaders!]: Clear out all enemies and keep the Loticus Village safe. Quest type: Event, Quest time limit: None, Quest reward: For every 10 minutes remaining alive, EXP of your current LV will be increased in +1% and each 10 enemies killed or 1 Journeyer killed will be gold coins+100 and Honor points+100 (SP+100 if not in an Association), Quest punishment upon failure: None.

‘Oh shit, that’s so good! …Huh?!’ Just as the Journeyer was having great fun at reading the rewarding system to this Quest Event, he saw a rider that was moving towards a certain Inhabitant of the village, the  each step of his strange dog-like creature was making a clear and loud stomping sound that made a resonance with that of the other strange dog-like alien creatures stomping all around the smallish village.

As the rider went through the village, he instantly killed a few heavy armored Journeyer offtanks that were trying to form a line, instantly being impaled by the rider’s plated gungnir while the ‘mount’ was tanking the so few incoming projectiles, be it arrows, bullets or magic spells, that came toward it and its riders like a champ without suffering any visible injury.

‘Shit! No!’ The Journeyer didn’t had a notification that worse rewards would be given if Inhabitants died, but he knew that it would implicate such a thing on the ending rewards from the event, so he hurriedly went forward and charged towards the front of the scared silly villager as the rider came closer and closer to their position.

“...dammit! This fool…” The Journeyer could swear he heard the rider speak as the latter bellowed in annoyance, the Journeyer then barely saw with his eyes that the rider stopped on the spot with a forced halt from his mount and then turned his head around to some Journeyers and even Inhabitants. “Hurry, don’t you see?! They aren’t that strong, quickly group with me and let’s gang up on this mothe-eh? Ffff-!”

As the Journeyer yelled out loud, the Inhabitants and Journeyers who were moving towards him with awful weaponry and good gear respectively made weird signs to him as he began feeling some foreboding ending… and indeed it happened as, he felt his body collapse and even saw his back about to reach the soil when his face ate his own butt and then only darkness remained.

Bvreee-Vwlsht--slash! Splurt splurt splurt~.

…thud.

“Ac-acgk! Grwhaaa-!!” - “Nooo, hooly shiee-!” - “I’m gonna fucking lose a level because of you, bastard!!-KGWUORGHH~!”

The Journeyer couldn’t see it, and his HP quickly reached 0 after a set of numbers stunned him silly as his body was feeling, consisting of ‘-30,096’ as the direct impact which took already 95% of his HP before being followed by the awful ‘-15,180, -792, -792, -792’. The first 2 big numbers were the direct damage taken from direct hits, while the ‘-792’ numbers were DoT effects of taking 2.5% of his HP per tic, it was brutal.

However, he then heard the shrieks filled with fear and hatred for himself as they died, for real, at the enemy hands of the one that similarly killed him off so easily and without him even hearing the thunderous steps of the strange dog-like alien creature. Those were naturally from the Inhabitants, while the following ones were from the other Journeyers who even seemed to carry a much powerful hatred towards himself for the losing of one level, equipment and durability of the same.

‘Uggh… what the fuck?’ Were the Journeyer’s last thoughts at the 2nd second after his HP reached 0 that he finally went back to the nearest great settlement nearby, a big town or a small city.

On the other hand, the Inhabitant who took out the Journeyers, and unfortunately the villagers as well, was cursing out loud while marking the Inhabitant with his own glasses and then saying some names and many more words in a hushed manner as a small notebook and a pen came out of his Master’s Bag with a light touch; a pat of his own hand.

As he spoke, the notebook and pen worked together as one wrote and the other remained still and like steel for better writing… of sorts. Then, once the Inhabitant was finished with his words, he joined in on the fray and quelled the sudden chaos and disturbance from their arrival.

Stomp stomp stomp stomp-stomp-stomp-stomp stomp-stomp-stomp-stomp…

As the Inhabitant was galloping back and getting rid of many more Journeyers and a much smaller number of villagers, he saw a fellow rider get side to side with him and aided him in hunting down the chaotic and the enemy. As the Inhabitant saw the fellow aiding him, the latter spoke out first in a comforting manner, “Don’t worry, the Colonel Army has already verified the results, you’re good, it was a pity but that was all. Not your fault, but you do need to be faster and crueler to avoid the bigger numbers, understood?!”

Hearing the last few words being shouted in stern but also encouragement, the Inhabitant of lower rank had a face of guilt and responsibility in this arduous and taxing task and job as a soldier on the field all the same, as he then responded dutifully. “Yes Captain!!!”

“Good, Sergeant, let’s get back to the war then…” The Captain said to the Sergeant as he took out his wing cicada sword and began reaping the lives of Journeyers in a single strike of a combined double or triple cut in one sole move.

Stomp-stomp stomp-stomp stomp-stomp stomp-stomp stomp-stomp stomp-stomp…~!

. . .

On the northern-eastern side of the Wonder Region, where a smallish cave settlement where there population was mostly from Dwarves, Nightborn, Blueblood and some lesser amount of Beast clan would live at.

“...zzzZZzzZZZZzzzz~...” A Journeyer was having his rest while a minotaur passed past him and scorned him off with some cheerful demeanor, not appearing aggressive at all. Just a moment ago, the minotaur saw this Journeyer who has been ‘farming’—as them Inhabitant hear them Journeyers call it—or ‘grinding’ their petitions for over a few weeks nonstop finally getting the rest he needed.

When passing past the Journeyer, the minotaur couldn’t help but remember seeing the Journeyer suddenly wake up in deep fright and looking left and right around the cave like he was suddenly falling or something, then have an annoyed face with extremely dizzy, sleepy eyes as the Journeyer then went back to sleep comfortably.

He was curious and naturally wanted to go and ask the poor fella, but the minotaur was suddenly summoned, along with many other Inhabitants, by the Cow-like anthropomorphic Cave Head at the same time that he saw the Journeyer go back to sleep peacefully. However, before he could continue walking towards the Cave Head’s house like a dozen others, the muffled stomping sounds became suddenly sharp as a ton of tall figures suddenly swept into the Cave Abode!

As for the sleeping Journeyer, he couldn’t care less about the sudden system notification ‘he’ got just now, feeling like a damn bother, he silenced them all at the first ‘ATTENTION TO ALL-’ and then went back to sleep. But then, a few minutes later, he heard some ‘clinks’ and ‘clanks’ as he woke up, his drowsy and heavy eyelids barely opening as he saw a confused minotaur fight a person who didn’t have much aggressiveness.

“Huh-hey! No, stop that! Don’t you dare fucking attack my buddies, you motherfucker!!” The Journeyer was, indeed, a ‘Fox dude’. Jus like fox or cat girls, he was fox dude himself, chosen ‘randomly’ by the system, he’s been here for a while and enjoyed the place so much that he became overjoyed when he found out an easy way to level up and get his maximum ‘free AP’ from quests.

Yet, he now saw a Blue Elf battling his minotaur buddy whom he obviously doesn’t know, yet right as the fox dude Journeyer stood up with his shout, alarming the two fighting parties. He realized that it wasn’t just those two in a case of a rare and already virtually non existent psycho player losing it, but… an invasion instead!

Rapidly, the Journeyer took a look at his interface and then his face changed so badly when he arrived at the system logs… yet…

Bvreee-Vwlsht~~!

-73,550.

*PING*...your HP points have reached 0, you have died and will now go back to the nearest by great settlement without an ‘In War’ status.

“... …” It just so happened that the Blue Elf saw a way to gain everyone’s attention to show off and ‘calm’ everyone up, so he quickly used a powerful movement skill before dealing a basic attack after a double 360 degree rotation in midair to halve the fox dude Journeyer in two from his waist, his peepee being saved nonetheless out of respect for manliness.

“EVERYONE STOP!! LISTEN TO ME IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DIE!!!” The Blue Elf man said, a 3.5 meters tall and 5 meters long strange dog-like alien creature howling right after his words ended, his right hand going over the latter’s back to pet him, showing the smallest—but still something—of signs of not being a mindless exterminator with his flashy blueish, metallic gray bright colored heavy armor.
