Chapter 2: Survival Training 101

Welcome cadets on how to survive in a survival game / strange virtual-like world. Hope you grabbed your pen and whatever you use with it.

Here is a list of things you will need to know before embarking on your journey.

Author's information to readers:- " " This represents the player's dialogue.

 ' ' This represents the player's inner dialogue throughout the novel.

Active skills:- Are skills that require an action from the player to trigger its effect.

Passive skills:- these are skills that become permanent once acquired. It isn't cast by the player nor does it require an action from the player before it can be implemented.

Unlike active skills, passive skills don't have a cool-down period.

Acquired Skills:- these are skills that require a player to perform some specific actions before they become accessible. E.g Perception skills.

They do not have a cool-down period as well.

Warning!!! This information shouldn't be bothered with for those who haven't read up to at least chapter 33 of the novel.

> Reincarnation candidates:- Are candidates a person shares a particular name with from other inter-terrestrial beings. A person can only have two reincarnation candidates aside from him being one.

In most cases, at least two reincarnated candidates can be killed from separate worlds at the same time. Then person A becomes reincarnated into the body of person B to start a new life and vice versa. 

In the case of reincarnated candidates dying at different intervals in time, Person A's soul will become stored by the universe until at least one of his reincarnation candidates dies also.

> Celestial elves:- Are a race of inter-terrestrial beings who could only be created by having a person kill each of his/her other two reincarnated candidates. Doing so will automatically transform them into a lesser Celestial Elf.

This means there are two types of Celestial elves. One is created by killing one's reincarnation candidates.

While the other lesser celestial elves come into existence when a high or higher Celestial Elf copulates.

(How a high or higher or even an elder Celestial Elf is formed will be explained soon) (if you're interested to know, that is.)

> Fledgling:- When person A kills one of his reincarnated candidates which is person B. person C and person A will automatically become fledgling, meaning that they are just a step away from becoming (Celestial elves) immortals.

> Orbs:- are of different colors with each of them serving a particular purpose in the novel. The orbs can't be seen by mortals but only by celestial beings. They are mostly obtained when enemies are defeated.

> Red orbs:- It is absorbed by the gauntlet for storage after defeating mainly spirits or elementals. It can be fused into a crafted material to release elemental magic. It helps to refill Ace's stamina.

> Blue orbs:- Are obtained after defeating enemies. It helps to refill Ace's magic meter.

> Green orbs:- Are obtained after defeating enemies as well. It refills Ace's health meter.
