It was a scrupulous process to take Kokuō's chakra. But that's what set Jonathan apart from other jinchūriki . He had endless patience. The instant Jonathan took all of Kokuō's chakra for himself, he found it easy to manage.

Jonathan's chakra pool consisted of his own chakra mixed with Hazuki's. Like a bank hovering over it, was Kokuō's sea level chakra pool. Jonathan could now mix that chakra with his own to either restore his own chakra or enhance it. Through practice, he was easily able to extract the chakra without needing to focus on it. To Jonathan, it was like releasing a small opening underneath Kokuō's chakra pool which would pour down to where his personal chakra pool was. The opening could vary in size based on how much Jonathan needed.

There were things Jonathan could do now. One thing was, he could fully transform into Kokuō without feeling pressure. Although, his full transformation wouldn't last long due to not having complete control over Kokuō. When he entered that state, however, he could physically manifest himself like Gaara did. Kokuō was like a summoning but at the same time it wasn't. Because Jonathan also didn't have full control over Kokuō, he wasn't able to use him to counter genjutsu. But that hadn't mattered because he had the sharingan at his disposal anyway.

Jonathan didn't need a partner. He despised this world and all of its creations.

Much like the other jinchūriki like Yugito Nii, Fū and Utakata, Jonathan was capable of entering all versions of a tailed beast. Though, this wasn't Jonathan's fighting style. He also did not like the idea of being on all fours. In version one, however, he could at least stand on two feet. In order for him to use the tailed beast bomb, he would have to at least be in version two.

But neither of these ideas appealed to Jonathan. What he was after was Kokuō's elemental chakra, water and fire. Upon gaining water, Jonathan spent the last month perfecting the element fully. Being a jinchūriki and having full access to Kokuō's chakra not only sped up the process but it even amplified the techniques. Unlike the nine-tails which has the second largest chakra after the ten-tails, its chakra did not require a lot of effort for chakra control.

Jonathan had the border line of the tailed beasts, the five-tails. Not only was his chakra balanceable, it was fairly easy for Jonathan to use after he acquired it. Jonathan had spent years honing his chakra control at every given opportunity. As such Jonathan, learned seven new techniques.

These techniques were as follows: unrivaled strength, water waves, liquid bullets, water dragon, hidden mist, exploding water shockwave and giant vortex.

Even his fire techniques gained a boost in power due to Kokuō's chakra. When Jonathan, however, tried to amplify his false darkness or earth style techniques, he wasn't able to. Kokuō's chakra was great but it only correlated to its specific nature. Regardless, a tailed beast provided more pros than cons. As long as Jonathan avoided predators, like the Akatsuki, he would use Kokuō like the beast it was.

"You've finally done it, have you?" asked Kokuō. The beast was skinny, like it had been malnourished.

Jonathan simply stared at it as it lay there on its side. There was no chain binding it. For there wasn't any need for one. Kokuō had learned its lessons. Like an animal, it knew it was powerless against Jonathan's dominion. This was called negative reinforcement. No longer fighting back, Kokuō was submissive.

"Can I ask you something?" Kokuō questioned. Its voice was faint. Almost like it hadn't eaten in days.

With authority Jonathan said, "You've been quiet these past few weeks until now. I'm interested in what you have to say."

"What's… your name?" Kokuō asked.

Jonathan couldn't help but turn around and begin walking in disappointment, "Wouldn't you like to know?"

When Jonathan opened his eyes, he was in Kyowakoku Jungle. 'Now should be the right time,' Jonathan surmised. He wasn't just training carelessly; he was also counting the days periodically. Today was the day Izumi Uchiha was going to participate in the finals. It was important for Jonathan to watch and analyze what would most likely happen.

If Izumi passes and becomes a Chūnin, Jonathan speculated that Fugaku Uchiha would further her growth by trying to advance her to the Anbu like Itachi was in. And if she failed Fugakau would surely be disappointed. Enough to make Izumi Uchiha either train harder or leave the village.

Activating the flying raijin technique, Jonathan arrived at a safe alley in the Leaf Village. He then performed the smoked technique and elevated himself above the arena. Afterwards, he used the sharingan to enhance his perception.

Jonathan was more than just cautious. He was blending well with the clouds from a safe distance. The sharingan might not be able to detect him, but a byakugan user as well as sensors could easily spot Jonathan if they were focusing on him. The only thing that preoccupied them were the fights taking place at the moment. And even if someone spotted Jonathan, they wouldn't be able to recognize his chakra signature to identify him. Worst-case scenario: Jonathan would simply leave with the flying raijin technique. To make things more difficult for others, Jonathan diminished his chakra signature to its lowest point.

Jonathan flew to the stadium and began watching the events unfold. He was high enough for anyone not to notice him, but also close enough to get a good view of the stands and participants. Several fights unfolded as Jonathan watched. Not a single person seemed to notice he was in the air. And if they did, they didn't seem to care enough to make a report.

Like Jonathan expected, they held the main event last. Izumi Uchiha walked to the center. Following her was a shinobi Jonathan had never seen or heard of before. Even his name seemed unimportant. It was a shinobi from the Land of Grass, and he had a solid build. In fact, this was definitely not a child. Jonathan speculated him to be at least over nineteen but no younger than twenty-five.

The Chūnin proctor viewed the two and looked confused due to the difference in height. This was an eleven-year-old girl about to fight a well-built, grown adult...
