Chapter 43: Chapter 43: The Way He Eats His Food

There was quite the many things Jonathan had to prepare for if he was ever going to see his vision unfold.

Of the things Jonathan never wasted, it was his time. In total, Jonathan had already perfected all the jutsu's in his skill set. What he needed to know now were the unlearned one's. Some of those jutsu's he remembered from back on earth, but a lot of them required certain means of learning. Those that were too complicated or impossible to learn because of special requirements, he abandoned entirely. But those that would serve him purpose during fights were highly sought after.

To gain some of those needed techniques, Jonathan required guinea pigs. At least that's how Jonathan viewed them for the time being. The Leaf Village housed of several large, noble clans. Some ranging from one or two members. Others comprised of generational families. Some of those clans that Jonathan avoided entirely, were a few in number. Clans that specialized in sensing, an ability to track other people's chakra, like the Hyūga clan or the Aburame clan, was a foolish idea to venture nearby. While clans whose techniques were useless to Jonathan, like the Inuzka clan, served no purpose for him to meddle with. Besides, Jonathan did not like dogs.

After returning from his second ever fight, Jonathan did not waste the day ahead. He activated the transformation technique and altered his appearance to look like an older version of Konohamaru. There were some slight changes like his hair colour but apart from that, nothing else needed to be done. Jonathan made his way to the barbeque shop. Having spent half a year in this village, Jonathan had been observing his surroundings every time he went out. He had the entire map of the Leaf Village memorized.

This particular restaurant was a popular area for a certain clan to venture to before and after missions. And because it was so close to their district, it only made it more convenient for them. Jonathan had not entered the restaurant itself but instead sat down at an open table restaurant next to it. The person he was targeting was an Akimichi.

Most if not all these clan members were obese. But they had something other clans did not. This was known as secret techniques. These techniques were only passed down to only clan members. It was their means of keeping their tradition. As such, there were three clans who worked in tandem because of their secret, family traditions. Of those clans, the Akimichi held a secret technique that could manipulate their bodyweight. But Jonathan wasn't interested in that. The idea of him becoming fat was not to his interest. Rather, it was what was behind that technique.

After an hour had passed till Jonathan's target finally exited the restaurant. Jonathan had spotted him only moments after entering the area. To bide his time and not look suspicious, he ordered something heavy and ate slowly. Jonathan's target was Shitō Akimichi. At around this time, Shitō was around the age of sixteen or seventeen. The instant Jonathan recognized him, he knew how valuable he was as opposed to the other Akimichi members.

"Boy, I sure am stuffed!" Shitō said while holding his large belly. "I think I should go back for thirds." He let out small burp before continuing his after meal walk.

"Shitō, come quick. I need your help!" When Shitō heard his name, he stopped to see where it was coming from. When he looked, his attention was towards a dark alleyway.

"Chōza, is that you?" Shitō asked.

"Yes, now come. It important." Chōza urged.

Shitō ran causing his belly fat to jiggle. "Chōza, what are you doing here. What's wrong?"

When Chōza Akimichi came out of the dark, he smiled at Shitō.

"Shitō, you should really be careful of the way you eat your food," Chōza stated.

"What are you talking about, Chōza?" Shitō questioned. "I eat my food like everybody else." Seeing Shitō's guard down, Chōza opened his eyes causing Shitō to gasp.

"Sharin—" was all that could be uttered before Shitō became completely silent.

Jonathan knew a lot about all the clans of the Leaf Village. Chōza Akimichi was the current head of the Akimichi's. As long as Jonathan could bait Shitō, who he knew was at least a Chūnin based off his flak jacket, he would win.

"Shitō Akimichi, tell me how to perform your clan's calorie control technique," Jonathan demanded. Now, Jonathan knew of this secret technique as well as what it did. What Jonathan needed was the fundamentals. For the next ten minutes, Shitō revealed all matter of information he was taught about his clan's secret techniques. He gave up their hand seals, how they manipulated their chakra stored in their body fat and, he even gave Jonathan his special pills. Lastly, Shitō gave a full, open demonstration on how to correctly perform calorie control. Jonathan watched this intently with the sharingan.

Even though Shitō Akimichi was likely a capable shinobi, the sharingan genjutsu was not something ordinary shinobi could free themselves from. Even well refined Jōnin would be entranced at its hypnotic prowess before finding a way to release it.

On top of all this, Jonathan's control was beyond that of a regular shinobi.
