When Jonathan finished his business with Shitō, he departed the area with haste. His next destination from here wasn't too far.
The person whom Jonathan transformed into this time, before setting off, was an older version of Shikamaru Nara. The only difference was that he was wearing casual clothes like a Leaf citizen. Jonathan stopped by the village stadium and began walking around the area. In this area were regular shops, the hospital and a park. More notably, in this area was where most of the Yamanaka residence lived. It was their clan's main district.
Jonathan was, of course, aware that not every person from a clan lived in the same area. The chances of him finding someone from a specific clan where they would most likely be at, however, was high. In this area was a shop owned by the Yamanaka clan. It was their famous flower shop.
After an hour of searching, Jonathan found his target. He was sitting nonchalantly on a park bench. Jonathan knew this person to be from the Yamanka clan due to their family symbol etched on his clothing. More so, it was the way the person styled their hair. Almost all members from the Yamanaka clan, male or female, styled their hair in a ponytail.
"Wonderful weather, wouldn't you say, kid?" asked Jonathan taking a seat next to a young boy.
"Huh? Oh. Sorry, mister. I didn't see you there," replied the boy.
"Tell me, son. You look like a young shinobi. What's your name?" Jonathan asked.
"Ugh…" The boy looked to be unsure.
Jonathan laughed lightly. "Don't worry, kid. I'm longtime friends with the Yamanaka clan. I can tell you're one because of how you look at the flowers."
"Oh! Haha-ha. My name is Santa. Santa Yamanaka. What's your…" The boy's face froze. Jonathan had immediately placed him under his sharingan genjutsu the moment he confirmed his background. Santa arose from his seat and walked away with lifeless eyes. Jonathan looked up at the sky with a blank face.

'If I was a smoker, now would be the perfect time for a cigarette,' Jonathan thought. After five minutes of waiting, he got up and walked in the same direction Santa had. This was a public park. If Jonathan immediately followed Santa, it would look a little strange. Espionage was nothing new to Jonathan at this point. He never left room for mistakes. No matter how hard someone would try in this world, Jonathan had multiple layers on top of one another before they could ever reach a conclusion.
In a secluded area with no one around, Jonathan looked at the still Santa and demanded, "Speak."
A few minutes and Santa had relayed all the secret information he'd learn over the years directly to Jonathan. What made information extracting through illusions so powerful is, that even if the target couldn't recall something from long ago, that memory could be forced out through their unconscious.
While Jonathan himself wasn't fully aware of who Santa Yamanka was. There was truly only two things he knew about it him. One of which was, that he participated in the war more than fifteen years from now. If Jonathan were to guess based off what he remembered, he'd say Santa was probably in his twenties or thirties during the war. That would make him no younger than ten and no older than nineteen right now. Ages like that were the perfect target for Jonathan because of how early their clansmen began teaching their young.
By the time Santa looked up, he saw that he was still sitting on the park bench. "I… I better go before I fall asleep here." Santa got up and left feeling a little anxious. Jonathan was far above a rooftop in his transformation technique as Shikamaru Nara. He watched Santa run off. To Jonathan, Santa looked as though he had just committed a big crime that he himself hadn't known about. Jonathan activated the hi-speed movement technique and disappeared.
Regardless of what anyone accomplished today, Jonathan had been the biggest victor. For as much as he knew, he had successfully acquired the components of how to execute secret techniques from highly reputable clans. Despite Santa being a child, he had a lot of information he shared to Jonathan. What the Yamanka clan specialized in was intelligence gathering. This was done through many methods such as their mind reading abilities. But this was not what Jonathan was after. Certain members of the Yamanka clan were special. The instant Jonathan heard the Yamanaka he had found was Santa, his face might have been blank, but his eyes showed avarice before activating the sharingan. The reason for this was because Santa Yamanka was a sensory shinobi.
Of the two things Jonathan obtained today, the things he was valuing the most was knowing how to perform calorie control and the basics behind sensing.
There was a reason clans kept their techniques a secret. If intel got out on their techniques, other clans could create countermeasures against them. Or worse, they could develop their own techniques as a derivative if they were capable of enough. Jonathan just so happened to be such a person.
He had already known all about their techniques. All that was left was the proper instructions needed to unleash them. And that's just what Jonathan obtained. Now that he had them, he wasn't just going to practice them, he was going to harness the technique's core.
