Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Simeon Sage Mode

Naruto was a strange world created by men from earth. Its science and religion mixed together formed various characters with plot devices to keep its viewers entertained. What would happen if a man entered that world?

Waters flowed between someone's hair as they swam upwards. Bubbles were left in his trail and he finally surfaced to dry land. The man had no clothes on save his now wet undergarments. Despite being at the most seven years of age, he had long, curly hair on his forearms, legs and even chest. The person waved the hair from his face to reveal a black sclera with golden sharingan eyes.

That man was Jonathan Yuan.

About seven days ago, a chimpanzee named Milo Lulu, informed Jonathan that his fight with the queen was to take place. Today was that day. Behind Jonathan was none other than the giant macaque, Elder Baboo. He was under Jonathan's sharingan genjutsu.

For some time, Jonathan had been practicing how to harness senjutsu. There were many complications to this. Just like at Mount Myōboku, which used oil, and Ryūchi Cave which used the elder snake's venom, here at Kyowakoku Jungle, one had to bathe in hot waters. Once Jonathan acquired the ability to harness senjutsu after a lot of failures, he obtained a sage mode called Simeon Sage Mode.

In Simeon Sage Mode, Jonathan's physical perimeters multiplied exponentially. He also gained the ability to sense great distances away, and had an incredible reaction speed. But there was major setback. Jonathan could not maintain Simeon Sage Mode for long. Neither could he enter into it naturally without the need for the hot spring waters. Though his aptitude for learning to balance and gather senjutsu took less than a month, he didn't have enough chakra to keep the form active.

This was similar to Jiraiya who needed Fukasaku and Shima to help him enter into his Toad Sage Mode. Because the oil at Mount Myōboku evaporated if it left the land, Jonathan hypothesized that the waters in this land would do the same. He was wrong. These waters had been a mixture of Elder Baboo's sage chakra and regular waters from the outside.

Though he was still at a disadvantage in entering Simeon Sage Mode, Jonathan always thought ahead. He knew what he needed to help remove that major setback. That plan was Orochimaru.

'Six years,' Jonathan estimated. It would be six years for a certain event to happen if Jonathan could not find what he was looking for. Jonathan was a very patient man. Be it months or years, he would use his time wisely.

As such, these days were also spent training his body. Using what he watched from Shisui Uchiha during their last encounter, Jonathan was practicing his teleportation technique (or body flicker technique). Shisui was regarded as the fastest ninja capable of using it. Jonathan incorporated what he saw with his sharingan and used that as a foundation to train.

His results weren't in vain. Executing the technique was faster but to have gained Shisui's exact movement speed was not an easy feature. Jonathan estimated he would still fall behind but not so much that he couldn't at least keep up.

Since the time of Jonathan's arrival to the ninja world, many things were changed. For instance, Izumi Uchiha. She was no longer the same as in the original timeline. Jonathan's intervention after slaying Hazuki Uchiha, Izumi's mother, caused this. Afterwards was Teuchi, the proud owner of a ramen shop the main character of this world highly favoured. Jonathan slew his daughter. He slit her throat and impaled her with multiple sharp kunai.

Teuchi was surely to experience a change now that his daughter died. But even this didn't trouble Jonathan. What he considered was the Uchiha clan and how the Leaf would handle them. Because Jonathan was seen by six ninjas using the sharingan, one of whom was likely dead, they would assume he was an Uchiha of the village. If Shisui doesn't relay the matter that he's never seen Jonathan in the Uchiha clan, it might cause the Uchiha massacre to occur earlier than expected.

Jonathan would have gladly went back to the Leaf Village to spy on them. But when he searched around Kyowakoku Jungle, not once did he find a secret portal to do so. Not even Elder Baboo had knowledge of one's existence. If Jonathan was looking to leave Kyowakoku Jungle, he would have to take walk out of it normally.

Turning around while in his Simeon Sage Mode, he looked back at the still Elder Baboo. Jonathan's entire body condensed into pure smoke. He then traveled upwards to enter Elder Baboo's nostrils.

'Sage art: body oxidation jutsu.'

Using senjutsu chakra, Jonathan had also increased the effectiveness of his ninjutsu. Elder Baboo struggled intensely, practically crashing into the mountain rocks. Jonathan's control over him was a lot greater thanks to the senjutsu chakra. After less than a minute, Elder Baboo fell forward. Jonathan exited his body through his nostrils.

Still in his Simeon Sage Mode, he kicked Elder Baboo's face, sending him right back into the waters where his body began slowly descending.
