Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Fallen World

Jonathan was left with only two gourds.

Flames raged across the habitat of where monkeys and apes lived in peace. There was blood on Jonathan's face. He was still in Sage Mode and his sharingan pierced the glorious scene. Not a single moment did Jonathan feel an ounce of remorse. Not even for the animals of this world.

Jonathan had never once heard of Kyowakoku Jungle before. The only person he was aware of, was Enma. As long as he left him alive, he didn't care what happened to the others.

"You monster!" Enma screamed. He was in a hunched position staring angrily at Jonathan. In one of his hands was a staff. Jonathan knew how dangerous that staff was. It was modeled after Wu Kong, a Chinese mythical creature. What was dangerous about it was, its material: adamantine. It was strong enough to push back an entire tailed beast.

"My liege, what happened here!?" screeched an approaching chimpanzee. Jonathan took his eyes off the two primates and started looking around.

"Milo Lulu, where were you?!" asked Enma. "No! That's not important right now. Do you see what you did by bringing this boy into Kyowakoku Jungle…? He's killed all our people!" Jonathan turned to correct Enma.

"Not all your people, king. There is still one left." Jonathan began dashing towards the two. Enma swung his staff horizontally. Jonathan slid his two feet while lowering his body backwards. Dodging the first swing, he side-stepped to the left to dodge the already incoming second. Jonathan then planted his feet on Enma's staff and backflipped off of it. In the air, Jonathan in motion turned his body upside down.

'Sage art: fireball jutsu.'

Seeing Jonathan's target was Milo Lulu, Enma quickly performed the transformation technique. Colossal flames drilled into a cage made out of Enma's adamantine staff. When Jonathan landed, he saw his senjutsu amplified technique hardly did a single damage. A puff cloud appeared showing that Milo Lulu and Enma were both unscathed.

This only caused Jonathan to smirk.

"Milo Lulu, get out of here while you can!" ordered Enma.

"No, my king. I will stand by your side until the end!" he declared.

Enma, enraged, turned to Milo Lulu and screamed, "Idiot! For once just do as I—" Just as Enma finished, he saw that Milo Lulu's eyes had the sharingan in them. By the time he turned back, Jonathan's fist was already covering his vision.

'Ferocious fist.' Bang!

Enma took a brutal punch right to the jaw. His very fang was knocked out on impact. His body then flew into a hut which collapsed on top of him on impact.

'That punch was not just a regular attack. The combined power of Simeon Sage Mode and ferocious fist could have killed him if I wasn't holding back,' Jonathan said to himself. Before performed that backflip, he managed to gaze into Milo Lulu's eyes to immediately cast a sharingan genjutsu without Enma noticing a thing.

Enma climbed out of the rubble, face mangled from Jonathan's attack. His vision was blurry but when it started clearing, he saw Jonathan holding Milo Lulu in the air by the throat.

"Stop!" screamed Enma.

Jonathan turned to look at Enma as he continued chocking Milo Lulu with this bare hand.

"I said stop!" Enma screeched as he rushed towards Jonathan.

Snap!

Milo Lulu's neck broke.

Enma dropped to his knees in horror after seeing the last of his kind die before him. Jonathan threw Milo Lulu's body like a ragdoll before walking towards Enma. Only the sound of flames brushing past his now destroyed land could be heard.

When he looked up, eyes at a lost for words, he saw Jonathan staring down at him with his sharingan. He was no longer in his Sage Mode. But that hadn't mattered. The last two fighting creatures in all of Kyowakoku Jungle were just Jonathan and him.

"Do not sully for your fallen world," Jonathan announced. He grabbed Enma's mouth and looked at him in his lifeless eyes.

When Enma came to, it was already morning. He stretched his body and grabbed his staff. He felt strange. Almost as though he woke up from a nightmare. Jonathan watched as Enma left his bed made of leaves before swinging away on the tree branches.

Jonathan then returned to where the habitats of the primates were. The area had been completely destroyed. Only a few huts and buildings remained. Jonathan specifically spared those areas because of what was inside them. Like a thief in the night, Jonathan slew the primates and erased their beloved king's memories from it ever existing.
