"Yo, Jon! This party's lit, bro!" Jonathan's close friend, Tyler Singh, was jumping up and down in excitement.
Around him were other young individuals, boys and girls alike dancing or simply chatting with one another. Jonathan kept a calm face and congratulated Tyler's behaviour. Tyler wasn't out of place and everyone was having a relaxing time. Jonathan, however, did not drink like the others. He disliked the taste of alcoholic beverages.
A girl managed to spot Jonathan and Tyler conversing. She approached the two. Jonathan had never seen her before. "Hey, Tyler. What are you doing here?" she asked. "I thought you didn't like parties!"
She had to raise her voice on account of how loud it was inside the house. "Nora, this is my buddy Jon. He invited me," Tyler introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Nora said in reaching out her hand.
Jonathan never favoured new people, but he knew at times when to be courteous. "Pleasure," Jonathan responded in shaking her outstretched hand. "How do you two know each other?" he asked.
"We're in the same anime club!" Nora replied.
'Already you're not my type,' judged Jonathan.
"You two get to know each other," Tyler insisted. Jonathan could tell what he was doing. He slipped through and left Jonathan with a girl he had just met yet hardly knew anything about.
"What about you, are you into anime?" Nora asked as Jonathan watched Tyler leave. Jonathan could already feel his dislike brewing for Nora. It wasn't that she wasn't fair to look upon. Neither did she give off signs of being a clamorous woman. Her tan skin even made her look attractive.
"No, I think anime's garbage," Jonathan replied while smirking.
"Aha-ha! Oh, come one. You should give it a try!" Nora laughed. 'This woman can't take a hint,' Jonathan thought. 'She definitely had some type of goal in mind when she saw me talking with Tyler.' This was what Jonathan was used to after entering the university, girls willing to give up themselves anytime. Not all girls were the same, but most had similar thinking patterns.
"You know, you're pretty cute. Wanna go upstairs?" Jonathan suddenly asked. But he wasn't asking. He using psychology. She would say yes to him because he first called her cute.
"You move a little fast, don't you think?" Nora said amorously.

"Are you saying you can't keep up?" Jonathan responded. That one line caused Nora to grin.
By the time Jonathan brought her upstairs and into an empty room, he first locked then shut the door behind her before walking away feeling unimpressed.
…
ONE YEAR LATER
Jonathan lifted up his eyes after having another dream. He knew it couldn't just be a dream, but a memory from earth.
Here, Jonathan felt pain, anguish and had a loathing desire to eradicate anyone and everyone in his sight. But Jonathan wasn't foolish. He understood this world. To make a change, he needed power. And something Jonathan was going to change was his fate here.
Jonathan rose from his bed. For a whole year, he spent his time in Kyowakoku Jungle, a land where primates of all sorts once dwelt. Because of their ecosystem, Jonathan had more then enough food. He also had houses that he hadn't yet destroyed to sleep in. When Jonathan wasn't tending to his daily necessities, he was expanding on his foundations.
The time Jonathan spent was worthwhile. After perfecting the flying raijin, Jonathan went onto perfect his latest technique: cellular regeneration. It took almost an entire year for Jonathan to do this. Mixing his knowledge acquired from earth as well as the medical knowledge he learned from this world, he combined several techniques, skills and abilities to create his own method of near-instant regeneration.
This form of regeneration was not a passive ability. Rather, it was a medical ninjutsu. Using the parent technique, cellular activation, Jonathan strengthened his body's defenses. No matter what jutsu would hit him, Jonathan could minimize the damage of that jutsu if he focused on that body part. Paired that with a lesser version of the body revival technique, Jonathan would be begin healing whatever injury was made.
To activate this regenerative ability, Jonathan first required to have enough chakra. Once an injury occurred, Jonathan would have to focus on that injury to cause his cells to rapidly heal it.
If Jonathan loses focuses, however, or doesn't have sufficient amounts of chakra based on the injury, no healing would occur. For instance: If someone managed to sever Jonathan's leg, he wouldn't be able to heal that kind of injury by growing a new leg. This technique worked solely for cuts, bruises or deep scars.
The the time it took to learn such a jutsu was eleven months. Though arduous, it would come in handy for Jonathan's goals. The last remaining month, Jonathan focused on basic techniques such as the nervous system rupture technique and chakra enhanced strength. They were both things Jonathan already knew how to perform, but didn't have time to. Aside from that, he managed to successfully copy the false darkness lightning technique he learned from Kiki Luz.
When Jonathan looked at his body, it wasn't at all full of scars. It was clean without a single blemish thanks to his cellular regeneration. More so, his very muscles were like steel fibers.
