The meeting commenced. Already the topic relayed to the events that happened yesterday.
"Senior, Gōza. It is a shame that two of our Sand shinobi are now missing because of Sasori's ambush," Ebizō addressed formally. "Do you perhaps know why you were attacked so sporadically?"
"I can only assume that it was because of my position, Senior Ebizō." Jonathan was quick to answer. "Like all of us here, we hold a lot of influences in the village. The only thing that's troubling is no knowing what Sasori was after."
Jonathan's reply was not just perfect, it instilled fear as well as confusion amongst the group. No one would suspect him of having done anything wrong because Sasori was a wanted criminal in the whole country. A lot of chatter began taking place.
"Everyone, that's enough," Ebizō stated. "For now, we have to alarm the country of Sasori's actions. None of us are safe outside the village."
For the next several minutes, topics regarding funding, economic changes and geopolitical nonsense was discussed. To Jonathan, the entire matter was quite boring. After the meeting took place, Baki tried inviting Jonathan for a drink; to which, Jonathan declined. His reasoning was because he had important business to deal with.
One of the privileges council members had was, their right to view important stored documents. The first thing Jonathan did was go to just that place. Like the Leaf Village, their documents were held within the Kazekage's building. If anyone were to question Jonathan as Gōza, they wouldn't have a right to. He was an honoured senior.
Jonathan looked through each document. Most of the information was hogwash. Others dealt with things Jonathan already knew from earth. It wasn't until Jonathan found what he was looking for. That thing was the location where Bunpuku spent his time.
Bunpuku was one of the hosts to a tailed beasts named Shukaku. This tailed beast was the one-tail, and he was currently sealed in Gaara at the moment. But Jonathan did not care for who Bunpuku was. Jonathan already knew who he was. What Jonathan needed was the location of where Bunpuku trained to keep the one-tail at bay. Because that was the place his target was located.
Of the many things Jonathan knew Kazekage's were famous for, it was a kekkei genkai known as magnet release. The issue was, Jonathan didn't find any scrolls with that information.
"Gōza, what are you doing here?" asked Jōseki from behind. Jonathan recognized his voice.

"Ah. Senior Jōseki," calmly answered Jonathan. "I was doing research on the Shukaku."
"Has the matter with Sasori gone to your head, Gōza? What reason do you have for looking up things like that?" asked Jōseki. For someone considered wise, Jonathan found him annoying.
"Have you not heard, Senior Jōseki?" asked Jonathan.
"Heard what?"
"Gaara, the lord's son has been showing irregular symptoms. I believe it is because of the Shukaku," Jonathan bluntly stated.
"Is this true?" Jōseki asked in alarm. "If so, I'll see if I can get someone to monitor his behaviour." With that said, Jōseki left Jonathan to his business. But Jonathan had already finished collecting the data he needed. Without making haste, he left the Kazekage building. The moment matters regarding the village or the Kazekage, all council members would find the issue important. And Jonathan wasn't deceiving Jōseki. Gaara was a troubling child growing up because of the one-tail.
Outside the Sand Village, west of the country was a certain area for priests. One such priest was known as Hōichi. At an early age Hōichi perfected fuinjutsu taught by Bunpuku. That was the same sealing technique used to extract tailed beast's chakra! If Jonathan can learn that sealing technique, he would be capable of battling those with tailed beast inside of them. Those people were known as jinchūriki, ninja who bore tailed beast and were capable of harnessing their power.
Naruto, the main character was the nine-tails jinchūriki. Gaara was the jinchūriki for the one-tail. It would be problematic for Jonathan to kill either one of them. And the jinchūriki for the eight-tails had already established a relationship with his tailed beast; meaning, he could fight at the level a tailed beast could. The more tails a tailed beast held, the more chakra they also had. Having one would compensate for Jonathan's lack of chakra.
Just having a tailed beast, regardless of the number of tails, was already an enormous amount of chakra. But Jonathan was not going to target the three-tails, four-tails, six-tails, or seven-tails. The reason being was because of the Akatsuki. Each jinchūriki was hunted down for their tailed beast. In order was the five-tails, seven-tails, one-tail, six-tails, two-tails, three-tails, and then the four-tails. Jonathan's target was the five-tails.
The five-tails, whose name was Kokuō, not only bore enough tails for his chakra reserves, but wouldn't be captured years from now. Jonathan also knew who bore the five-tails: a shinobi named Han from the Stone Village. Jonathan knew quite a lot about the five-tails, as he did with all of the nine tailed beasts. Fighting Han would not be a problem once Jonathan perfected the sealing technique from Hōichi. What Jonathan took in consideration was finding Han's location.
