It was less than half a day's journey until Jonathan's caravan made it near the location. From what Jonathan understood, this was a small town in the outskirts for traveling tourist.
"Looks like the rain's gonna pour down us today," Saka announced from the front. When Sanya looked from the back, she saw dark, gloomy clouds. Unlike her, Sana was quite scared. Jonathan was pretending to be asleep. Secretly, however, he was using his sensing ability.
"Mommy," Sana said. "It was so sunny a minute ago."
"It's called a calm before the storm, dear," Saeka eased.
A few minutes into the ride and Saka began looking for a place to park the caravan. He didn't want the horses getting too wet. Jonathan hadn't ever heard of this particular family, nor had he been acquainted with them. All he was aware of was how they were chosen to accompany Jonathan on his journey.
From the time spent with them, they ate by a fire, shared stories together and seemed like quite the laxed group. Sanya always held her doll and sometimes picked on Sana for being nervous too much. Their mother, Saeka, had colourful hair like them. She was sweet and nice. To think Sanya grew up the way she did despite having such a person by her side.
If someone were to look at this family, they'd be impressed at their peaceful stability.
"I think I'm gonna have to park underneath a mountain!" Saka yelled. He had to keep his eyes on the road because the wind began picking up. Following that was a light drizzle. There was nothing covering Saka's head, so he got rained on.
"I hope everyone's dry back there. Hahaha-ha!" Saka laughed. Despite being drenched in water, he stayed very lively. A few minutes and he made it near a cave at the foot of the mountain.
'That seems a little unsafe, but we have no other choice,' thought Saka to himself. "Alright, everyone. Help me setup a tent so we can stay dry!" When Saka turned and opened the blinds to the back, he saw Jonathan covered in blood…
"Argh!" Saka screamed. The shock at what he was witnessing caused him to fall off the caravan. Mud covered his whole back as he cowered in disbelief. A hand stuck out of the caravan before Jonathan stepped outside. Thunder and lightning struck as Jonathan jumped off, landing right in front of Saka.
"Who are you?!" Saka yelled. The flash of from the lightning revealed Jonathan's dark eyes. Blood was on his hands and face from having slaughtered Saeka, Sanya and Sana. Jonathan gently waved his wet hair saying, "Your death."
The moment Jonathan finished, he took out three senbon and threw them at Saka. From the side, a shinobi using the hi-speed movement technique quickly grabbed Saka. When Jonathan turned around with an unreadable expression, he saw a broad-shouldered shinobi with the Sand's headband. Appearing next to him was Saka on the back a kunoichi with the same headband.
Jonathan stood there still.
Rain poured down on the four. "You are trespassing on Sand business," said the shinobi.
"He… He… He killed my wife and kids," Stuttered Saka. The kunoichi turned to Saka, "What?!"

"Where is lord Gōza?" the shinobi asked.
"Satetsu, I know lord Gōza's important but this man just lost his family," the kunoichi responded.
'Satetsu,' Jonathan repeated inwardly. Through just that brief exchange of their words, he already guessed their personalities and traits. He had never heard mention of a Satetsu; but, considering he bore the Sand's headband and that Baki sent him, could only mean that he was another useless filler character. Jonathan, however, knew very well who the woman was.
"Satetsu," said the kunoichi. "Here. Take Saka to safety."
"I… I'm fine," Saka tried saying. He then suddenly held his chest.
"The pain at losing one's family. I know it all too well," Satetsu analyzed. Though it was pouring with rain, Satetsu could still see the tears running down from Saka's face. The kunoichi let Saka down as Satestu holstered him above his right shoulder.
"Don't worry, Saka. We'll get you to safety. Our mission's ended in failure, but that doesn't mean you won't get a chance to see the sun rise," assured Satetsu. Saka was still crying in sorrow. By the time the two looked at where Jonathan was standing, he was already gone.
'Sage art: Partial expansion fist.'
An enormous fist hammered down on the group causing the very ground to quake at an exponential rate!
The force was strong enough to stop rain from pouring down for a brief moment. Jonathan's arm reverted back to normal. He was standing inside a deep crater with Satetsu and Saka on top of him.
"So… you managed to dodge my attack?" Jonathan asked while straitening himself. He was in his Simeon Sage Mode. The partial expansion fist was a combination of the partial expansion jutsu, enhanced chakra strength, and the ferocious fist taijutsu all mixed with senjutsu chakra.
Satetsu and Saka died.
The kunoichi appeared on the edge of the deep crater. "You—you evil fiend!" she angrily yelled out.
Jonathan looked at her with no emotion. Lightning struck the sky causing his face to illuminate for a split second. When the kunoichi saw the look in his eyes, how dark they were, she felt a sense of caution.
"I wonder whose kekkei genkai is stronger. Yours or mine, Pakura of the Scorch Style.
