A week before, I encountered the devil, Demon King Lilith.

It was a Thursday, and, at this school, Thursday is sports day, meaning that we have to come in wearing sports uniforms and for two or possibly three periods worth of time, we were going to someplace off the school campus, like going to a blowing place.

While in the morning, we still have regular classes.

Since I've been here for some weeks, I've gotten somewhat used to this; however, going on something like a two-hour field trip every week is an experience the old me would gladly enjoy to his heart's content.

During this day as well, Lunch break happens a period early to accommodate the entire high school and bring them to places while also bringing them back to school campus just before the school day ends.

As usual, I had nothing else to do during lunch break, so I watched Alisa play on the basketball court with a bunch of her friends and classmates from beyond the soccer field as the basketball court was several steps lower.

"Ah.... I want to play with her," I muttered under my breath.

After watching her from a distance for several minutes, I decided to go directly into the basketball court and sit on the large stone stairs and pretend that I was watching my classmates while I was watching her.

With wishful thinking, I thought that once she saw me in her sights, she'd invite me to play with them as I sat alone, but it never happened.

Several minutes passed, but she didn't even approach me.

Instead, Alisa eventually got tired and sat down on the stone stairs with the rest of her classmates a few meters away from me and hung out with them.

As I kept glancing at them from the side, an unexpected event happened.

"Hey, could you hold this for me?" A female classmate of Alisa said as she took off her glasses and handed them to her.

"Yeah," Alisa replied as she accepted the glasses and put them on.

Glasses?! I thought as I could feel my heart start to beat faster as if I was receiving a sweet, delicious eye candy.

My heart raced so much to the point that at that moment, I couldn't help but think how cute she was, how pretty she looked with glasses.

Ahh... This is sweet! She looks so cute!!

Unknowingly, I had a big idiotic smile plastered all over my face.

Other people would surely notice how weird I was acting, but I was wearing a mask so no one could see the face I was making.

I relished that sweet feeling for a couple of minutes, and then Alisa and one of her friends left the basketball court.

Once she was out of sight, I also left the court and walked back to my original spot.

However, as I walked, I realized something.

I'm an idiot...! I should've taken a picture while I had the chance! I internally screamed.

But wait, that's voyeurism; if I secretly take her picture and she sees it, she's going to think I'm some creep.

Ugh...

But still... I wanted to take a picture of her.

"..." I sighed as I slumped my shoulders at the missed opportunity.
