Chapter 6: Chapter 5.5: Secret Conversation

In the world of stone platforms and endless space, Lily watches Iven’s body disappear into nothingness as she stands in the middle of the floating stone platform.

The next moment, her white sways to the side as she turns around with a loud stomp and says, “Show yourself; I know you’re here… Lilith.”

Several meters in front of her, a shadow forms on the ground. It lifts itself up from the ground forming a silhouette of a humanoid figure.

“I know, I can’t ever be hidden from the likes of you.”

Straight long crimson hair as if it were a river of blood, deep crimson eyes, pale skin, a black crystal-like long skirt, a chest belt with a black butterfly in the middle, and a Fascinator covering her from her head to her lower back. An unrespectful variation of a morning dress.

Lilith’s detailed figure had shown itself as the black shadow seeped back into the ground.

“So? Why did you talk with my piece?” Lilith asked.

“I’m sure you heard the entire conversation but… I’ll tell you again, I simply just wanted to talk to him that’s all.” Lily explained with an aloof smile.

“Ah, is that so? Well, I’m you have your reasons for wanting to ‘talk’ to him but knowing you, I’m sure you simply won’t reveal it.”

“I’m glad you’re so understanding.”

“And so? What reason do you have to be here? Weren’t you working on that?” Lily mentioned as her expression turned serious.

“I came here because I noticed you took him here; chest pieces are valuable you know? Their supply may seem inexhaustible for the likes of you but procuring them for us Demon Kings isn’t so simple.”

“I see… so you came out of concern for the boy, how unlike you….”

“I praise you for finding an individual such as him, that boy’s so eerily similar to the point that I thought you found a reincarnation of him.”

“I accept your praise, but I will have to go now, there’s no use in prolonging this conversation, I will see you later Lily… this time, let there be a winner.”

Lilith’s figure once again turns into a silhouette shadow, sinks into the floor and vanishes.

“A winner you ask for, a winner you shall get,” Lily smirked.

 

“Let the new game begin….”

 

As soon as Lily finished that sentence, her figure vanished into white light, leaving the stone platform empty like all the others floating in the endless space.
