Even Martial Artists were still afraid of being burned. With the advent of first wound through the burning kerosene, the unfortunate martial artist could no longer stop the arrows flying from all directions. The extraordinary person became an extraordinary hedgehog, countless arrows hit their mark. For the Great Discovery Army, this was their first blood as invaders.
The narrow passage forced the martial artists to group up and restricted their movements. More and more of them were caught in the raging fire. In this perilous position, the scarred man doubled down on his effort. Holding his two-meter-long blade he pushed wildly out of the passage. Being hit instantly by an arrow from his blind spot, but the arrow didn’t affect his speed at all.
“Stop him” Kai ordered loudly.
The scarred man rushed out of the passage towards the elite soldiers at the entrance of the valley. Armed with spears they surrounded the passage’s exit blocking his paths out of the area. The scarred man slashed wildly with his blade. Spears being chopped and cut in every direction.
Soldiers begun to fall one by one. After the scarred man neared them, it was difficult for ordinary people to resist. In the face of death, the Great Discovery Army was the elite of the elite for a reason. Unafraid to die and determined they rushed up when their comrades before them die. The passageway was kept surrounded completely.
With the limited space at the exit, only a few other martial artists were out of the narrow blazing passage. The encirclement kept them surrounded. The scarred man charged frantically like a cornered beast, but it was useless in the face of the huge, heavily trained army.
Arrows continued to fall from the sky. More arrows stuck to their mark, steadily covering the scarred man. Other martial artists left the passage to see the situation. They immediately understood it was not in their favor, they rushed into a frenzy aiming to kill the surrounding soldiers. Knowing they were going to die here today, their minds completely snapped.
The battle situation at the mouth of the valley and within the valley were equal, they were extremely tragic. The strongest martial artist, the scarred man had killed and wounded dozens of soldiers. The difference between the two sides was too great, his will dwindled gradually. Other martial artists fell one after another, fire, billowing black smoke, and arrows ended their struggle filled existence.
The number of martial artists dwindled, one by one they decreased the initial party. After some time, the man that stood alone after all the death was the man covered in scars. He was beyond recognition. An unknown number of wounds covered his body before he fell. The final extraordinary person of the realm dying to the army of ordinary people.
Terra Stars briefly nodded at her people. She turned her attention elsewhere. This martial arts realm used to be a low-level martial artist civilization. Plundering the realm for its origin energy was the main goal, but the other resources found within the unowned realm was of value.
A martial arts realm had many martial art manuals and exercises to train with extraordinary energy. There could also be artifacts and precious treasures of heaven and earth, the so-called extraordinary materials. When she checked the realm Terra Stars only found some martial art books and exercises of value to her.
…
At the valley, the battle was over. All of the martial artists killed by the Great Discovery Army. They paid a small price to defeat the extraordinary. Hundreds of soldiers were killed and seriously wounded, along with numerous with minor injuries. These pains didn’t quench the remaining soldier’s excitement and joy.
Kai didn’t show much emotion, he ordered some soldiers to clean the battlefield. He immediately went to research the weapons the martial artists carried.
With all of the extraordinary life dead, the vitality of the realm bottomed out in an instant. The shrinkage moved at the speed visible to the naked eye. From the original 100 kilometres diameter, it shrunk to below 20 kilometres. This drastic change proved there were no creatures with high life level on this realm.
At most, weeds, some plants, bacteria, and microorganisms remained. Following the realm’s trend these creatures would soon die. The vitality of the realm would be completely ended, it would become a completely dead realm.
The Great Discovery Army returned to Gaia with a series of rewards. Everything that wasn’t stuck far in the ground was moved back to Gaia. Terra Stars blocked the door of light once they finished. As a Realm Ruler this unowned realm could be affected by her power and abilities. She used a tiny amount of origin energy to accelerate the realm’s time flow.
Less than a year passed in a few moments. Life in the realm was completely extinct. The realm returned to when it was just awakened at only a few kilometres. A strange mass of energy rose from the interior of the realm. It tried to escape the dead rock. Aiming to move into open space. Terra Stars was waiting for this, she directly reached her own energy and claimed the energy and took it into her body. The strange energy was the origin energy that the realm produced before its death.
The level of civilization on this realm never reached high. Not much origin energy was generated in its time of life. The mass of energy amounted to only have a portion. This process was the purpose of connecting to another realm, the main reason unowned realms were plundered.
…
In Gaia, following Terra Stars’ instructions, the martial arts manuals and exercise books were all moved back to the palace through Kai’s orders. As they were no use to people in Gaia, she took them from their place. The objects existed in a space of limbo out of her private realm space.
Having completed her work, she left Kai and the Great Discovery Army to celebrate their victory. The door of light disappeared from Gaia for now. Terra Stars returned her focus to reality. Atop the bed in the carved room, she smiled to herself. It was time to exchange resources for funds.
With her having completed her invasion, she climbed off the bed. On the way to the door, it slid open automatically. Terra Stars made her way down the floors, back to the first floor of the Society’s building. She queued again.
At the same window as last time, the same receptionist was working. The queue was only a couple people who quickly moved on their way. Stepping forwards Terra Stars handed over her ID and said, “Hello, I want to exchange some items.”
“Hello ma’am, may I ask what size of items are needed to be exchanged?” The receptionist took the ID card and quickly swiped it through a device on her desk.
Immediately she raised her head and glanced at Terra Stars. Naturally the short haired young woman from yesterday was memorable. A cute girl barely a young adult at all that booked her first plunder alone was rare.

“A pile of books, I want to sell some martial arts manuals and exercises.” Terra stated her wares.
The receptionist nodded and said, “Alright, that can be done here. Please place your hand on the Materializer here. The fee for materializing will be calculated afterwards.”
She gestured to a part of the wall beside her window. On the counter an out of place orb protruded out. Terra Stars followed her instructions, she held her hand on the orb. She felt something connected to the limbo space that held the manuals and exercises. The force sent her a permission request in her mind. She accepted it and the objects in the limbo space disappearing as some of her energy as a Realm Ruler is used.
On the desk below the counter a thick stack of books appeared. The realm had been managed for decades, there were naturally many manuals. Seeing the unexpectedly tall pile the receptionist glanced at Terra Stars.
“Miss Terra Stars are these… from the realm you booked yesterday?” she couldn’t help but ask.
“Yep” Terra Stars confirmed the only possible fact. With nothing to hide, she calmly answers.
A hint of surprise flashed in the eyes of the young receptionist. The realm she recommended yesterday, although on the verge of collapse, it still had a notable martial arts civilization. Even within the low-level energy realms with martial arts civilizations there were divisions.
Low might, medium might, and high might civilizations. Each with different power. The high might martial arts civilizations could even compete with medium-level energy realms. The realm recommended was not to be underestimated either, it was a high might civilization during its peak.
For a newbie, most would choose low might martial realms. If not for the lack of other options, the receptionist wouldn’t have recommended that realm either. She just did not expect the young woman in front of her would resolve it so quickly. Many plunder attempts against realms higher than the lowest levels took time to prepare and plan.
“Could it be a real genius of this year?” She murmured in her heart. She began to check the manuals through the Society of Realm’s systems.
A few minutes later, the young receptionist finished and looked back to Terra Stars’ soft face, and listed, “There are 33 martial arts and exercises, among which…”
“There are 12 manuals of no grade.”
“There are 15 manuals of earth grade.”
“There are 5 manuals of sky grade.”
“And finally, one of the swordsmanship manuals is at the mid-level of heaven grade.”
As she listened to the receptionist, Terra Stars nodded along. Various realm civilizations develop differently, each had its own qualities. Not just cultivation manuals, the same was true for other extraordinary items.
To make transactions across many kinds of realms convenient. For all ranks of civilization, a unified standard was adopted. From low to high, ignoring no grade. It was divided into five levels. Earth grade, sky grade, heaven grade, mysterious grade, and the final legendary mythical grade. Each grade was split into three smaller levels, low, medium, and high.
“Do you want to exchange these for resources or federal coins?” The receptionist asked.
“Federal Coins, please” Terra Stars replied.
The receptionist nodded and begun her work behind the counter. She said, “The Materializer fee has been subtracted from the total paid. The transaction is complete, please see your receipt here.”
Not caring for the receipt, Terra Stars briefly skimmed it to see the value of the bundle of books plundered. Most of the manuals being a few hundred bucks at most, sky grade items being of some value was good. The heaven grade manual was in the thousands. That was after the materialize fee was taken.
A good start of money, but it wasn’t enough. Because Gaia’s size was too small compared to Earth. Fewer species were born and less minerals had been born naturally in the realm. The most important iron ore had yet to form. So, buying iron ore to put into the realm was the best option, but the lowest estimate is millions of coins. Something Terra Stars couldn’t afford yet.
“Robbing unowned houses is really the fastest way to make a fortune.” She remarked on her way out of the building.
