When she returned home, Terra Stars entered the realm space again. She Checked on the situation of Gaia.

Babylon Kingdom, in the capital Great Development City hosted a grand celebration. To celebrate the great success of the expedition, the soldiers sang and danced together. Drinking, storytelling, and dancing filled the celebration.

Amidst the joy, Terra Stars found Kai stood quietly on the high platform alone. His gaze pointed to the sky, confusion filled his eyes. Only a brief glance at the laughing and celebrating, soldiers and citizens below. He was dazed and worried.

Kai looked to the sky and muttered to himself, “I have seen the super-humans you talked about, they are very powerful… Their individual strength is far above even the best of this kingdom’s most powerful warriors.”

“The Wild tribe was like supermen to the Man tribe at that time. But why did the Man tribe win in the end?” Terra’s text continued.

Kai’s eyes lit up and he replied, “Father relied on the wisdom that others did not have, thus defeating the Wild tribe… I heard father tell this story several times.”

“But they were still only ordinary people. Extraordinary people are born to be beyond us. Is the only method the suppression with the advantage of numbers?” Kai continued with a frown. ‘What if numbers mean nothing to them’ was thought but left unsaid.

After a pause Kai said, “I know our current bow and arrow technology is low, and it does not have the lethality now. Even if it is perfected, it is estimated that it will not be a threat to the powerful super-humans.”

“Do you really think that ordinary people’s weapons cannot pose a threat to extraordinary people?” Terra paused for a moment.

“If there were weapons with the same speed as sound, do you think the previous martial artists could escape them?” She finished.

“Speed of sound?” Kai was taken aback. The speed of sound was almost instantaneous to them.

He immediately replied, “If our weapons have the speed of sound, those martial artists will definitely not be able to escape… but are hyper-sonic weapons possible?”

“I also invented the waterwheel, windmill, and curved plow. Textile carts, carriages, ceramics, bricks, and tiles all have my contribution to them. I feel I have come a long way in technology.” Kai finished, not daring to directly question Terra Stars.

To his dissatisfaction, only a pair of words formed in response.

Kai became stunned when reading, he realized he thought of most of these things as natural, but never delved into it. Now with the questions before him, Kai realized the technology he had mastered was just an appearance.

After letting Kai come to a realization, new words formed before him, “Kinematics. A discipline that explores the relationship between speed and energy.”

“Once you figure these things out, you have really begun advancing technology.” With a final message Terra Stars left the stunned king to his own mind.

Kai’s whole mind churned, the questions were a new light within the fog to him. His anxiety caused by seeing the power of super-humans gradually calmed. He begun to seriously think about the questions Terra Stars gave him.

Staying upon the high platform for the whole night. Even with his genius, the era was still the feudal era, much foundation to modern knowledge had yet to be discovered. He couldn’t understand the principles overnight. But this night was the most important point in Kai’s life.

His focus shifted from development of technology to researching the principle of things. He left the research of current technology development to others. To attract and encourage Babylon’s people to go to school, Kai started the Imperial Examination. It’s main topic being in the discipline of physics.

For better specialization, he split the original Development College. The College becoming two parts, the Development Academy, and Research Academy. Development Academy remained on Kai’s old path, being responsible for the development of technology. Research Academy focused on studying the laws of all things in the world. To go to either academy, one must take the imperial examination.

Seeing the new Academies formed, Terra Stars was interested. With the system’s guidance she composed a book to hand to Kai. The book included knowledge on agriculture and production industries. Such as machinery, bricks, tiles, ceramics, sulfur, candles, paper, weapons, textiles, dyeing, salt making, coal mining, oil extraction, and other production techniques that would be a foundation to the future technology.

Terra Stars passed the book to Kai. He was overjoyed, with the book he could greatly reduce the delays that Babylon would encounter in development. It became the treasure of Development Academy. To influence generations of students and be highly evaluated in later generations.

The new Research Academy grew quickly. It was easy to play an important role in this era of knowing very little about the principles of the world. A foundation for modern knowledge rapidly formed. But the state of Development Academy was slowly running out of immediate results.

With the help of the microscope, Kai saw another world all together. “What are these?”

Looking through the magnifying glasses, tiny objects appeared. Kai was surprised and delighted, he remarked, “Sure enough, as I guessed, there is such a tiny form of life in this world!”
