Chapter 3: Chapter 3 – Ground and Record Breaking Development

In a hot spring with boiling water, A microorganism that was resistant to high temperature was born. Thermophiles, although only a tiny bacterium, it’s also a creature and life. That meant the first life was born on this tiny planetary realm of less than one kilometer.

A complete awakening, a full success. Terra Stars became a true Realm Ruler. She breathed a sigh of relief and checked her realm data panel. She found a change had occurred on it.

The size of the realm depended entirely on the vitality of the realm. The so-called vitality depended on three aspects. The realm Terra Stars awakened only had one kind of life. Of the lowest of microorganisms, there was very little vitality that could be provided. A realm with a diameter of less than one kilometre was a low start and limited space for life. But Terra Stars was not in a hurry at all, the evolution of life had just begun. The current surface of the realm was no longer lifeless sand and stone. Instead, most of the planetary realm’s surface was covered by water, a full ocean showing a slight blue. Homage to her old world that gave her knowledge, and connection to herself, Gaia was a worthy name in her opinion.

Terra Stars checked her remaining origin energy left for the acceleration of time, 30% remained. A portion of Origin Energy was awfully expensive in the Polaris Providence. Ordinary families simply couldn’t afford any. Only during awakening ceremonies will officials provide one portion for free. Leaving it to continue draining at the incredible acceleration of time, she watched her realm.

As the master of the realm, Terra Stars could perceive all the changes happening in the realm in high clarity. In the warm ocean, the number of thermophiles gradually increased. Over time, other microbes appeared.

Time went on, the species evolving progressively higher and wider range of creatures. The structure and function changed from the simplistic state they were originally. Eventually photosynthesis traits evolved, algae was very adaptable. It could endure all sorts of harsh environments of the newly formed realm. With the continuous photosynthesis of the current creatures, a lot of oxygen was produced.

Another condition for higher life was met. In the ocean some eukaryotes with true nuclei began to appear, such as primitive sponges and jellyfish-like organisms. This marked the beginning of real animals and plants, which are higher order creatures.

They will bring great vitality to the realm. Due to the increased vitality, the realm would also get bigger. The era of man approached, and the true beginning of her realm’s power neared. Terra Stars’ road as a Realm Ruler hadn’t even begun.

At this point 300 million years had passed since the birth of the realm. Apart from the evolution of life, the realm’s surface had also undergone dramatic changes. More oxygen and hydrogen were produced, and water levels rose. The land had gradually disappeared, almost all of it submerged by the ocean.

Although they were ordinary life, born of ordinary energy. The sheer number and variety provided a huge amount of vitality. The size of the realm skyrocketed to an incredible level.

Those extraordinary realms outside, were far from the same number and variety despite the high-level energy. A newly awakened extraordinary realm had five or six types of species that were all outstanding. For Terra Stars, she competed with quality with quantity. The competition began now, with the awakening time over.

With the complete transfer of origin energy into her body and successful awakening, the RCP she was in became useless. To access her realm, she only needed a thought to look at it herself and she always knew the happenings of her realm with a moment of focus.

The awakening process time had come to an end and the RCP gracefully pushed Terra Stars out of its rippling metal surface. She found herself standing on the right side of the pod. Looking around she saw which side people stood was different person to person. About 150 of the over 300 students in the room stood on the right, the rest on the left. A split of half and half. The reactions were equally split, some cheered and were excited, others were full of frustration and even wept bitterly. All their life changing moment had ended, many results being final.

The success rate of realm awakening was not 100% added with realms that became dead on creation. Only a few people were truly satisfied with the results even if the number of successes were higher than previous years. With the kind of extraordinary energy obtained being a vital factor in normal cases of realm awakening.

According to the divisions of extraordinary energy taught at school. It was divided into five levels: low, medium, high, spiritual, and super.

Low-level energy’s main types of: Mind Power, Perception, True Qi (body cultivation), astral energy, and others with low potential.

Medium-level energy includes Aura, Soul Power, inferior mana, and other such energies.

High-level energy includes Magic Power, Cosmic Energy, Nether Energy, lone elemental energy, and others.

Spiritual-level energy includes Dragon Energy, Origin Qi (immortal cultivation), Extreme Mana Power, heroic energy, darkness energy, and others.

Super-level energy was rare and filled with famous types including Pure Qi (Perfected Immortal cultivation), Void Energy, Annihilation Energy, and others.

Higher the rank, the rarer it was to see. Majority of students who successfully awakened and birthed life had low-level energy, followed by medium-level being a fair chunk of students, high-level being rare but everyone knew a guy with high-level energy. Spiritual was only a handful at most and Super energy is lucky to have one in the group.

At the same time as the second and final group of students at the school moved into the outdoor plaza, in the exam room. A group of teachers were doing the final statistics with the mystical tablets that shared uses with technological digital tablets.

The previous awakening of the realm was only the first half. Letting the realm give birth to life is key, many people could have a smooth first step, but missed the second step.
