Chapter 5: [5] Greenville Village

After hour of traveling. We finally arrived at the village entrance. The 2 girl get out of the carriage and wave goodbye at the guy.

"Thank you so much driver!"

"Good luck girl!"

The 2 girl wave goodbye to the driver as he left with the carriadge.

"Whew. So this is the village of Forestville huh?"

*Appear to be it. The wall is so tall!*

"Nina. Let's complete the commission together."

"Ah yes Mizi!"

The 2 girl run to the village guard.

"Halt you traveler! What is your purpose in the village!"

The guard is a bulky man with sword in his waist ready to strike any unwanted intruder.

"Ah we are the adventurer from the village of Ashloss. We came to do the goblin eradication."

The 2 girl showed their adventurer badge to the guard.

"Ah i see. You may come in. I will get the elder"

The guard run off to the main hall where the elder live. And we are granted entry to the village. It a village with atleast 150 Resident. While the girl are looking at their surrounding. The elder came.

"Ah hello adventurer. Sorry for my late appearance. Im elder Soma. Nice to meet you adventurer!"

The elder has the characteristic of a deer with beard spanning to his shoulder. The elder reach out for a handshake. Mizi reach out to shook his hand.

"Hello my name is Mizi and the girl next to me is Nina. We have came to do the Goblin eradication commission."

"Thank you so much for accepting the commission. No one has been accepting it since the fifth day. We are a really poor village so that probably why not even one adventurer came to our village."

"Oh so that why it was quiet on the F rank board. Anyway elder. Can you give me info about the goblin problem?"

"You see. The goblin has been haunting us when it appear 7 day ago. Often in the night. Goblin would steal our food or even unexpected victim. After a kid has gone missing on the 5th Day. We decided to put out the commission with any gold we even have"

"Do you have any idea where the goblin village may be?"

"Our warrior was able to discover the goblin village when they were hunting some boar in the forest next to us. Here i will give the map to you."

The elder bring out the map from his pocket and gave it to us. The map has red marking in a specified spot where the goblin village are.

"Please Adventurer! Save our villager. I begging you"

"We promised to save your villager. Just count on us!"

"Thank you so much girl!"

The villager was happy that someone will eradicate the goblin.

The elder showed us the way to the forest. We enter the lush forest with the map in hand.

"Stay safe adventurer!"

The elder and the villager wave at us. We wave at them before we go deeper to the forest.

The forest was filled with tree. The trail has a bunch of vine and plant that i don't know in this world. 

*What are these plant?*

"Ah that plant is the Moon Flower. It a poisonous plant so the people dare to not touch it. And that plant is*

Mizi went off to explain all the plant that i was curious about. Enchanting my knowledge even further about this world. We stumbled upon the goblin village finally.

The goblin village has around 40 goblin or so with 4 human adult and child combine inside a cage. We can see a bunch of bone and skull littered all over the village. Whether it on top the fence, The hut or even near the river. Thank god none of them look like a human right now. Most of the skull has the shape of a mammal. I don't think they haven't ate a single human yet. Although the human inside the cage look very malnourished. 

*Let's try to memorize the layout before we try to hunt them.*

"Yes master!"

Mizi looked at Nina.

"Let's wait for a while and memorize the layout of the village before we attacked okay?"

Mizi and Nina look at the routine of the goblin. It appear there are around 10 goblin that went out around Noon. They usually come back before Midnight. The big goblin inside the hut appear to be their boss. They have 20 Worker goblin, Most of them are male tho. And the rest of them are baby maker.

[Skill: Stealth, Goblin language, Club strike, Chemistry]

*We should strike when the goblin warrior has left*

"Okay then."

Mizi talk with Nina about the plan.

"Nina. Listen to me. We will attack them after the warrior has come out."

"You will act as the Damage dealer. So you will stay up the cliff while i go down."

"Isn't that dangerous Mizi?"

"Don't worry im very tough! Trust in me once"

"Okay"

Nina nodded. We waited until the goblin warrior finally left to hunt for the village. Mizi grab her sword and infuse it with mana and jump from the cliff they are looking from. Nina started to prepare the fireball.

Mizi jumped to the unsuspecting Goblin worker and slice it head cleanly until it flies away from it main body. The nearby worker saw their fellow goblin died in front of their eye and began running from us.

"Chieeek!!! (There a human!)"

The goblin worker run desperately from Mizi just for me to kill them with my Mana Slash attack. Nina did her job too by casting fireball that kinda miss everytime at a standing enemy. But it were effective against running enemy as the fireball hit them accidentally.

It was a total massacre, As blood splattered all over the ground. I gained 2 more skill from the goblin i killed. And Mizi gained 3 level too. 

[Goblin language]

Eventually the goblin chief came out of the hut and roar loudly to see it kin dead.

"CHIEEEK!!!! (How dare you human killed my family!!)"

[Skill: Leadership, Earth magic, Goblin Language, Beast roar, Weapon expert, Berserker]

[A direct evolution from the Goblin]

The goblin chief grabbed a iron axe from it hut and began charging to Mizi.

*Watch out! It will be quite tough to block that fully*

The goblin chief swing it axe to the direction of Mizi. 

*CLING*

*Are you okay Mizi!*

"Im alright but it still gonna be tough for me block it forever"

*Do you want me to help you?*

"Please don't. I wanna experience how to combat myself"

*Alright*

Mizi blocked the big axe numerous time with Cling sound happening between the two force.

The goblin chief unleash a earth spike from below Mizi. She noticed the rumbling and jumped from the spike as it emerged. 

*Heal! Don't exhaust yourself. Use your skill!*

"Okay master!"

Mizi began chanting the necessary buff onto herself.

*Strengthen! Haste!*

Mizi was even more faster with the skill on. The chief was caught off guard of how the girl become this fast. The chief tried to block every of the strike unfortunately he was strike a few time. 

"CHIGEKK!! (HOW DARE YOU!!!)"

The goblin chief eye began growing red with the muscle began growing bigger than ever. 

*Mizi! Dodge that. You can't block it, It has activated it full power*

Mizi nodded and began dodging every of the strike. The goblin chief began striking randomly due to it lost it mind. The side effect of berserker including your will lose control over your body during the time period, and you will slowly lose health every second. It also give a huge amount of attack to the weapon. So it necessary to dodge it instead of blocking it.

The effect of the berserker began disappearing as the chief began to shrink in weight. Eventually just dropped to the floor. The chief was very exhausted just by looking at it for one glance.

"Chiiik... (Noo. I can't lose)"

The chief tried to stand up but stumble back down. A sword appear at it neck as it head fly from it main body to the floor. The body eventually disappear into dust as mana crystal was dropped from the body. Mizi was also tired as she dropped to the floor with sweat all over her.

"So tired"

*Heal!*

*You did a great job Mizi. Now what is going on with Nina again?*

"Uhhh. She keep trying to strike that one goblin warrior but she miss everytime even before we fight the chief"

*Huh. I should remove that curse as soon as possible. I feel bad seeing her fight with the goblin*

Mizi get up and began picking every single of mana crystal dropped from the goblin. Mizi grabbed the key to the prisoned child and adult in the cage.

"Thank you so much savior!"

The rescued villager was happy that they are finally rescued and thank Mizi deeply. She noticed they are super hungry so Mizi gave the villager a pack of bread that she always have in her backpack for food. The villager devour them so fast until not even a crumb is left. They wave goodbye at the savior as they thanked her one more time before going to the village safely.  

Mizi approach the goblin that Nina was trying to kill and slash in 1 blow. 

"IM SO SORRY! I can't even kill the goblin! Please don't kick me out!"

"Huh?"

*Huh?*

Do this girl has a trauma where she get kick out or something?

"Why would i kick you out? You was very helpful in the battle. Thank you so much"

Nina was shocked at Mizi word and didn't talk for the whole 10 second. Nina thank Mizi after the 10 second was over.

"Thank you.."

Mizi smile happily and pat the girl head.

"No problem! You are always a comrade in my eye"

Nina began to cry infront of Mizi and hugged her.

"Thank you! Thank you!"

"Eh what wrong! Why are you crying"

"Im just happy that you accepted me! Thank you so much!"

Mizi smiled happily and hugged her back. The scene was wholesome really. After that Nina helped Mizi picked up the mana crystal on the ground. Nina level has risen up 3 time from the battle. After they have picked up all the Mana crystal. They wait for the goblin warrior to return as they haven't forget about the goblin warrior and waited until they appeared. The goblin warrior finally arrive to see it whole village burned and destroyed. As the goblin warrior tried to go inside. It was killed as soon it step into the burned down hut with Mizi stealth skill. The body disappear into dust and mana crystal was dropped.

"And the whole commission is completed!"

Mizi and Nina began walking to the village with a bag full of mana crystal. I decided to not eat the mana crystal right now. Because mana crystal are the proof that you have defeated the monster. If i ate all the mana crystal. It would be hard to explain that we defeated the goblin.

We arrived at the gate entrance. To find the villager preparing a feast for us.

"Thank you so much for saving my Friend!"

"Thank you so much for saving my Children!"

The 4 rescued villager was smiling happily next to their forever loving family. The elder approach us

"Thank you so much Mizi for saving out village. We decided to host a feast for you to celebrate the eradication of the goblin!"

The feast was filled with laughter and joy as people dance and sing. Some even filled themselves with a bunch of beer. The 2 girl enjoyed the feast aswell as they ate the delicious meat in front of me where i was drooling the whole time in the backpack. So i asked Mizi to bring me one meat too.

*Uhh Mizi. Can you bring one meat for me too?*

Mizi was still eating meat while talking with me.

"Ywes Master!"

Mizi approaches the elder. 

"Can i bring one of the meat with me? I wanna give it to my friend"

"Sure! You can take anything here. It your prize"

So Mizi wrap the meat in a bag and put in the backpack. 

"Thank you!"

After that. In the middle of the feast, we gotta leave very early before midnight or the adventure guild will close and sleep in Leandra Inn. The elder understood us and call for everyone in the village to gather Infront of the village entrance to wave goodbye to us.

"Thank you so much for saving our village! We will never forget you!"

"I hope you become even stronger!"

The villager was praising Mizi and Nina consistently. Mizi wave goodbye aswell. 

"Thank you so much for the Food!"

Nina followed soon after she is not embarrassed

"Thank you so much for the food too!"

The day ended happily. We get on the carriage and drive away from Greenville Village with smile on both of the girl face. 

After few hour of in the carriage. We arrived at the adventure guild to claim our reward. We throw the bag filled with mana crystal on the counter. Lizy was surprised to how big it was. 

"No way! You actually defeated all of this?"

"We did! Nina helped a bunch with her aiming."

"That amazing. I will examine every of the mana crystal to see if they are real. So wait for a minutes okay?"

Lizy put on a special goggle that specialize at examining mana crystal. Lizy began examining every of the mana crystal. She took off the goggle after the conclusion.

"These are real! Congratulation adventurer. Here is your 100 gold reward. Now what do you wanna do with the Mana crystal?"

I needed mana crystal in order to level up so i told here to sell half of them and keep half for myself.

"I will sell half of them and i will keep half for myself."

"Okay"

Lizy gave us 100 Gold for the 20 low rank mana crystal. So we make up with 200 gold. It was enough for me to buy the purifying skill. We wave goodbye to Lizy and went out.

"See you again Adventurer!"

Nina doesn't have a home so we take her with us to Leandra Inn to end the day and possibly the day where i will remove her curse.

Mizi remove the heavy armor and the backpack landing on the soft bed head first. Nina was shy at first to remove the robe. But eventually removed it to sleep next to Mizi. 

"Ah i forgot about the mana crystal!"

Mizi stand up and take me out of the bag shocking Nina.

"Uhh. Nina what is that creature?"

"Calm down. It a Monster i tamed! His name is Diles. He is a monster i found injured in the forest. So i took care of him. Diles primary food is Mana crystal and meat. So that why i took half of it with me so i can feed it to him. And the meat of course"

"Ohhh. And Diles look so cute! Why didn't you show it to me before!"

"Oh uh. I thought you will be scared of him. So i never showed him to you"

"Oh that make sense. Now give me him! I wanna tickle him so bad."

Nina reached out to me just for Mizi to drag me back.

"No will do. He almost passed out when my friend hugged him so tight"

"Just one tickle please!"

"I said no"

"You meanie!"

Mizi pour all the mana crystal on the ground. Mizi putted me down next to it as i began munching on it like some kind of candy. The mana crystal is a size of my eyeball. I began to get some level after i ate the whole thing.

Mizi also putted the meat infront of me. I began to drool hard and ate it so fast. It was absolutely delicious, The right amount of sauce and spice. I almost forgot about the purify skill, So i searched the system shop to finally find the purify skill.

[Purify]

[Purify: Purify any curse and demonic power inside a being]

*Ask her to close her eye as i purify her*

"Okay master"

Mizi turn to Nina

"Uh Nina. I have a secret. Keep it a secret okay?"

"Hmm okay?"

Nina was confused to what secret do Mizi have.

"To be honest. The monster right here can talk and purify your curse that have been causing you hell."

Nina was shocked to hear the information. She didn't even know that she has a curse on her.

"No way? Is that true?"

"Yeah. This monster here. Let's say like a Divine beast can find about your status. It was revealed that you have curse on you"

Nina was starting to tear up a bit.

"No no. Don't cry. Diles can purify your curse!"

Nina was happy to hear that i can deal with her curse. I decided to speak with her instead of asking Mizi to do it for me.

*Hello Nina. My name is Diles*

Nina was shocked to hear a voice in her mind.

"Whose voice is this??"

*Don't worry it me. Im the monster in Mizi laps. Do you wanna to get rid of the curse Child?*

Nina was thinking until Nina made up her choice.

"Yes please. I don't wanna be useless to Mizi again!"

*Now now. Close your eye as Mizi hold me closer to you*

"Okay"

Mizi hold me closer to Nina forehead. This was the perfect range to cast my purify skill.

A bright light shine from my mouth as i chanted it. The light shine for about 15 second before disappearing.

[Congratulation! You have purify a curse!]

[Title gained: Divine Crocodile]

*Your curse is now gone Child.*

Nina open her eye to see she is more lighter and energetic after i purify her. 

"Thank you so much Diles"

*Aha no problem!*

"How can i repay this?"

Mizi step in

"Hah. Easy! Worship Diles as your god!"

Wait a second. GOD??? This can't be serious.

*Hey Nina. Don't listen to her! Im not a go-

"Yes! I will worship Diles as my god now"

God damn it. She has became my second believer? Now what. I gonna compete with the god residing in this world? 

*God damn it you 2*

The 2 girl laughed maniacally as they have made me a god. It made me look weird.

"Oh yeah Diles. How about giving Nina a blessing?"

*Well i might as well if i want her to grow even faster*

Sigh what did i get myself into.

*Nina. Do you want a blessing from me now?*

"Yes absolutely! Blessing from you a god is a good reward"

*Can stop calling me by God and call me by Diles instead?*

"Sure will do! Diles"

*Okay now. I will give you my blessing. Stand still as i gave you my blessing*

As green light appear on her arm. A sigil appeared on their shoulder? What is going on! The sigil has the outline of my face. No way did i become a god?

"Thank you so much Diles for your blessing! I will treasure this for my whole life"

This is so outrageous! Stop playing with me god! Sigh i hate my life sometime.

The 2 girl finally sleep after that fiasco Well with me in the between as they force me to sleep between them with their round object shoving me. Now what will the next day up to now.I hope it nothing too serious
