Chapter 6: [6] Spider Dungeon

Well yesterday was pretty awkward. The 2 girl look pretty embarrassed about what happen yesterday. 

"Let's not talk anything about yesterday "

*Jeez you girl*

After packing up equipment, we head to the adventurer guild to grab another commission. It a dungeon this time.

Dungeon occasionally have multiple path, it can lead you to a dead end, trap or the boss room which have a door locking them inside. The design inside the dungeon are like maze, sometime with a secret passage. The monster there vary from the name that was given from the adventurer guild, The monster also respawn everyday when they are defeated.

The girl approaches Lizy.

"Hi Lizy! Im here to take another commission today."

"Ah welcome back Mizi and Nina! What commission do you wanna do today?"

The girl show her the paper of the Spider Dungeon with the recommendation rank of F-C Imprinted on it.

"Ah the Spider Dungeon. I will sign you right away."

Lizy sign the paper with her signature name with a magic pen.

"Done! Show this to the guard so they will let's you entry inside"

"Thank you Lizy!"

"You are always welcome girl. Come back soon healthy okay!"

Lizy wave goodbye at them leaving the adventurer guild. And somewhere in the crowd.

"How are those 2 girl gonna beat a dungeon by their own?" (1)

"I don't know." (2)

"And aren't both of those girl did the goblin eradication commission yesterday as well? Not to mention with 2 member only" (1)

"And i saw her have the class of a beast tamer. And the mage next to her is literally the worst mage in the Adventurer Guild. She can't even aim a fireball properly! " (3)

"No way a beast tamer able to complete the Goblin eradication quest? That do sound very sketchy. And did the mage even help?"

"Nah, She definitely didn't even help the beast girl at all!  AHAHAHA" (1)

* Back to Mizi*

Before we go to the village. The girl went to the blacksmith to get a sharp steel sword and a staff, They also bought some necessary item for the dungeon exploration. Including a map for the inside of the dungeon, Some rope and a warp gate stone. After we get everything we need. It was time to take off to the dungeon.

The dungeon was really close to the Ashloss village. We took our time walking to the dungeon, It was fun as they sing while walking happily. Even the used to be shy Nina became a singer!

The music was very calming and relaxing. They sing for the rest of the walk. Until the dungeon getting closer.

We finally arrived at the dungeon which were protected by at most 5 guard. 

"Stop right there! Do you have the necessary signature to enter the dungeon?"

Mizi showed the commission paper with Lizy signature on it. The man began examining the paper, until they finally accept us inside the dungeon.

They goes inside the dungeon gate, as we got inside the dungeon. The inside of the dungeon was rocky terrain with a bunch of stalagmite hanging on top the dungeon. I can see some cobweb nearby, It appear the enemy is nearby.

I decided to sit on Mizi shoulder since Nina already knew i exist. Nina began to make fire on a stick to make torches, so they can see more clearly as i don't need any light source. I can trust on my eye for night vision. 

*Be careful, The cobweb can trap you pretty easily*

"Okay Diles!"

We explore even deeper in the dungeon avoiding any cobweb we find. It was a long hallway with some unlit torches visible. It seem like some adventurer used to explore this dungeon before. As we walk, we stumble some spider monster finally.

[Brown Spider]

[Level:5]

[Skill: Cobweb, Poison sting, Climb]

The brown spider has the size of a bucket. It way more bigger than the spider in my world, the spider appearance has 3 eye and the abdomen which filled with small little fur on it body, It has 6 long leg. 

There are around 40+ of them swarming at us. They are very weak against fire and physical damage. And the girl just have that in their possession.

*Try not to get with Poison sting. Nina charge up your fireball as they weak to fire and Mizi prepare to infuse mana to your sword*

"Yes Master!"

Mizi unsheathed her sword and Nina charge her now accurate fireball after i removed her curse. It seem like level is the key to unlock her other skill, I better level both of the girl quickly. Who know what danger will they face later on.

Mizi slashes the spider that coming to Mizi as Nina cast fireball onto the group of spider burning them to a crisp eventually to ash. 

*Nice job Nina!*

The gooey green blood splattered from the spider body as some land into Mizi shiny armor.

"Augh it stink so bad, I better wash up my armor after this"

*I agree. It stink equivalent to a expired milk*

We went deeper as we kill any of the monster that get in our way. The girl encounter another species of spider. Which is the Poison green spider.

[Skill: Poison spit, Poison Sting, Poison ball, Climb, Cobweb, Poison Resistance]

The spider has a different color than the brown spider which being green in all of their part. It now can throw poison from it mouth unlike their lower sibling counterpart. The poison was way more lethal than the brown spider as it able to melt Mizi armor a little bit.

It was still no match for Nina fireball tho as we killed it far away. I got their skill as everytime my contractor killed a enemy. I gain their skill We also picked their small mana crystal as we walk relentlessly. There was a problem, We arrived at a intersection where there are 2 path to take.

"Diles! Where should we go? Any idea?"

*Hmm. Let's me check the right path. Detect!*

The detect showed 5 so call dangerous stuff. Which all of them are trap.

*The right path is filled with cobweb trap and spike trap. Let's not go there*

"That mean the left path we go!"

The girl travel to the left path as they kill some spider along the way and pick the small mana crystal until they found the boss room.

"So this is the boss room? The door is so tall and big!"

"Even i don't think i can destroy the door as it so sturdy"

*Let's open the door to what await us inside the door*

Mizi touches the door as it began opening by itself to reveal a huge spider with human body onto the head. Instead of the classic characteristic of a human. It was replaced with a bunch of small eye and pale white skin color.

[Spider Queen]

[Level: 17]

[Skill: Summon, Cobweb, Poison ball, Poison spit, Venom Bite, Climb]

"That thing is so huge!!"

"How are we gonna defeat that at all. Not to mention there are alot of spider near it."

*It certainly look undefeatable.  If we prioritize the spider, The queen gonna summon even more spider. If we prioritize the queen, The spider will disturb Nina with her casting and block Mizi from attacking the queen.*

I don't think this is a fight that they can defeat by themselves. I need to take part in the battle or else they will lose.

*I will take part in the battle. My size can easily outsize the spider queen. All of you will kill the smaller one as i fight the big one*

"But master. You don't need to participate in the battle!" Mizi screamed out

*Im doing this for your own safety. Don't be over confident or you will lose entirely*

"Okay master."

I get off Mizi shoulder and walk forward just so my tail doesn't hit them accidentally. I began becoming bigger every second until i was at my original size. I outsize the spider queen by a bit. 

*Get on my body.*

"Ah okay master!"

Mizi and Nina began climbing my tail while they hold my scales in order to climb until they are on top my enormous body.

*Are you ready girl? Cling on tight or you might get blown away!*

I prepared to charge myself to the spider queen as it still sleeping. I don't have to worry about damage as my scales can endure alot of hit.

*Haste*

I charge myself forward with insane speed as it wake up to see me charging at them. 

"GIIK! (Monster!!)"

The spider queen was pushed back my size until it was struck by a wall, As dust started to appear from the crash. The spider was woken up by the sound and began climbing my body to try kill the intruder that is killing their queen. The 2 girl killed the climbing spider as they approach the girl with their skill. Some of the spider even try to bite me or sting me with the poison, It was proven to be ineffective as my scales can easily block the bite. And my newly acquire poison resistance block amy poison from the poison green spider.

I bite onto the spider queen fiercely as it began screaming in pain. The skin and the body feel like im eating on my clothes. It was disgusting as the green blood started to appear on my bite mark. Some of it splattered over my teeth and body.

"GIIIIK! CIIII!"

The spider queen tried to get me off while biting me in the snout. The bite didn't even scratch me, it just tickle me a little bit. I can't do death roll as it can harm the girl. I just keep biting onto the spider body as i waited for the girl to killed every of the smaller spider. 

As i keep biting the Spider queen. It suddenly have red aura emerging from it body, I think it going through phase 2.

*Girl! Let's back off now. The spider queen is going through phase 2, I don't know what it will do just yet. So im backing off, Hang on tight*

"Ok Master!"

I back off from the spider queen and trample any of the small spider as i stay far away from it.

The spider queen stay motionless for 10 second before standing back up with the queen eye becoming red as the body started to become red as well. The spider started to become bigger and covered with the red aura as it lunged at me.

*These are not the spider you used to fight! They are more dangerous!*

[Enraged Spider Queen]

[Level: 23]

[Skill: Burrow, Summon, Cobweb, Venom Spit, Venom Ball, Lethal Bite, Climb]

The level improved by 5?! This is absolutely cheating. Isn't this dungeon recommended for F-C? Was there a mistake happening on the adventurer guild part? The spider summon has increased level too! They are absolutely more dangerous. I don't think the girl can handle the spider if they were to climb my body again. 

*Nina! You need to charge up a skill with all the mana you have! We need to kill that thing now before it summon more stronger monster!*

"Ah Yes!"

*Mizi, I need you to strike it eye with your sword. You can do it right?*

"Yes Master!"

*Alright let's fight this quickly*

Nina is began charging her skill with all her mana as i rush toward the spider queen with Mizi in my head ready to strike the eye. The spider queen tried to block my bite as i managed to bite the monster arm off. The spider queen was even more enraged as it began to throw poison at us. 

"Master! I have charge up the skill with all my mana. Ready to launch!"

"Yes master"

A large mana filled fireball was launched at the spider queen abdomen as the monster tried to use the minion to block the fireball. It was ineffective as the fireball was so strong that it quickly disintegrated all the spider that got on it way as it approach the queen. Mizi jump to strike it in the eye as it was distracted by the fireball. The queen scream in pain as it eye was destroyed and began attack randomly with her eye destroyed. It tried to burrow away from the fireball just for me to bite on it shoulder as it desperately try to attack me with everything it got. 

"CIIIIKIK! (NOOOOO!!)"

The fireball was launched at it abdomen burning it entirely until there was nothing was left from the fireball path. Nina soon pass out from mana overload in her body. Mizi grab Nina unconscious body from using mana over her limit.

*Hold on to Nina! I will be attacking it from now on.*

I attacked the spider queen numerous time mostly just bite and mana slash it repeately. It still try to fight back or hold me off by using her minion. It just that my bite force is so strong. So it can't even escape from my grip as i began to bite it even deeper. It eventually stop attacking and become emotionless for once. The spider minion also stopped moving entirely and disappeared as the queen was now dead meaning there was no mana to support the summon. A large mana crystal dropped from the dead spider queen body as it slowly disappeared into dust. 

Mizi was relieved that they won. I turn back to the small Diles again as Mizi just fall from my body.

"Ow, You should has warn me when you are going back to small form, It hurt you know?"

*Aha Sorry. Heal! .You okay now?*

"Yeah im fine now. What about Nina? She is still exhausted from the mana overload"

*Here. I bought some mana potion. Give it to her*

3 Mana potion spawn from nowhere and drop to the ground. I bought them with the gold i got from killing the spider queen and the smaller spider. I was able to rack up 1450 Gold from it. Mizi open Nina mouth as she began drinking the mana potion. Nina began opening her eye. 

"Did i pass out?"

*Yeah pretty much. Are you hurt anywhere?*

"Hmm not really. I was just experiencing mana overload. That all"

*I will cast a heal just in case*

"Thank you Diles."

Mizi take off her armor filled with Spider blood everywhere. And put it on her large backpack.

"Ugh, I still can smell the disgusting green blood even when i take off my armor! We seriously need to wash up nearby in the forest."

*Yeah i agree much. Let's go out of the dungeon now, Put the mana crystal into the bag we prepared*

"Yes Master."

Mizi began picking up all the mana crystal everywhere in the floor. It was unfortunate that summoned monster do not have mana crystal inside them. It would be overpower if i can get unlimited mana crystal from the summoned spider. I was able to get 100+ Very Small mana crystal from the brown spider while with 30+ Small mana crystal from the poison green spider and with 1 Large mana crystal from the spider queen.

"We need to make a complain to the adventurer guild. This dungeon is definitely not for newbie! The normal monster would be yes but did they even look at the boss monster?"

"Forget it. Let's get out of the dungeon, Wash up and immediately go to the adventurer guild."

Mizi drag the full bag of mana crystal with Nina shine the torch on the way outside. After countless minutes of walking. We were able to get out of the dungeon without any problem in the way. Mizi run out very fast and drop the bag to breath in the fresh air

"Finally! Fresh air! The inside was hell! Let's not come back to that awful dungeon anymore"

*Yeah same. We stink so bad right now.*

The guard approach us just to run away from our awful spider blood smell.

"Even the guard think we are disgusting!"

"What a hassle"

I can feel Mini dissatisfaction just by judging from her voice.

*Let's just wash up now*

"Okay master"

Mizi approaches one of the guard nearby that has his nose closed with his hand.

"Do you know any place with water? We need to wash up"

The guard pointed at a forest where a waterfall in present. While his face is becoming blue

"Ok thank you"

We left the dungeon and headed to the waterfall to clean off the blood.

The guard finally open his nose after we left.

"Man, I hate my job"

We were able to find the waterfall and start cleaning our body. I lay underneath the waterfall splash as it make so comfortable. While the girl wash up, They also play with the water as they splash each other.

"Take this! My water splash" Mizi screamed out

"Ah. You meanie! Take this!"

The girl just keep on splashing each other with water endlessly with smile on their face. Their face began to turn into a grin as they look at me with something in their mind as they splash water into my face.

"Take this master!"

*What is wrong with you girl. I will splash the water to you to*

I move my tail under the water and move it to the direction of the girl as the water splash onto Mizi and Nina.

"Ah!!"

"Master!!"

*Ahahahah!*

"Grrr! Master!"

We played playfully under the waterfall as we keep splashing water as each other. I will never forget about this memory in this world.

They stopped playing after a while and began to get dressed to head back after they have clean the armor and clothes.

*Let's go back now!*

"Yes Master!"

We walk back to the village with smile in our face as we chat with each other. 

Bird was chirping and singing as we on our way until we arrived back at the village.

"Welcome Back Mizi!"

"Thank you so much Hun"

We walk back through the gate. I also bought a space inventory just so our bag doesn't get any attention as it was very big and we look like a weirdo.

We arrive back at the adventurer guild with people looking at us.

"Oh welcome back Mizi. Did you completed it?"

"Yes we did, Here let's me give you the bag"

Lizy was confused as Mizi started to put her hand to the air as a giant bag started to appear even thought there was nothing she was grabbing it from.

"Magic Inventory!!"

Lizy knew this skill as she has experience with multiple adventurer with the same skill where they can put any item inside on their personal inventory. Mizi put the large bag down onto Lizy counter. Lizy take a sneak peek inside the bag to see a large mana crystal.

"No way! Did you defeat the spider queen?"

"Yes we did. And i have a complain. Why do the paper said it recommend for F rank to C rank when the boss is powerful as a C rank adventurer. We were surprised to see the spider queen appeared and almost died"

"Uhh, Did you even read the back of the paper?"

"What?"

Mizi flipped back the paper of the dungeon to see this. 

"F - D rank is recommended to kill the normal monster. C rank  is recommended to clear the boss monster."

*Did you even read all of this?*

"Ah sorry"

Lizy began laughing when she didn't even read the back of the paper. She got back on the main topic pretty fast.

"Anyway. The total amount for all the crystal is 121 Gold for the very small mana crystal, 175 Gold for the small mana crystal and 500 Gold total for total for the large mana crystal. That mean you will get 796 Gold total."

*Hah?*

"Hah?"

That much gold can even buy a high rank magic book in this world! 

"What are you gonna do with the mana crystal?"

"I will keep the large one and keep 30% of my mana crystal"

"Alright, Here is your 198 Gold from the 70% of the mana crystal"

"Thank you Lizy"

Mizi put the mana crystal on her inventory as i gonna eat that after we get home. Until we heard a siren happening in every corner of the village.

A mysterious person with a telepathy their voice into everyone mind.

"A Demon rift has appeared outside the village! All normal citizen must go to the Village safe house while to all of those that can fight must partake in the fight against the Demon as we protect our village"

All the adventurer run out after hearing the siren as alot of scream was heard outside the adventurer guild.

We followed outside to see the whole sky turning red with bunch of portal in the sky as numerous demon with wing appear from it diving down to kill anyone they can find.

"The Demon!"

Nina screamed out as Nina parent was killed by the demon, So she has a deep hatred for demon.

*Let's protect the village!*

"Yes Master!"

*Let's Go!*

The fight against the demon army has begun.
