Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Return Home.

Sara opens her eyes and sees a gas mask man. Her mind is still fuzzy, after that the man begins explaining her condition and lets her make a choice to live or die. Although Sara already knows she can’t live long. She wants to live.

 

“Do you have a place you want to go; I will send you there?”

 

Sara shakes her head, with her appearance most humans will not treat her normally. Unless she goes to the place where many alien species live together.

 

“If you don’t have a place to go, you can come home with me until you are ready to leave.”

 

“Why do you want to help me?” Sara asks because she looks like a lizardman with her reptile skin.

 

The gas mask man shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know, it’s up to you if you want to follow.” Levi actually wanted to try curing or restore her lifespan. If he can do that he can complete the drug and use it in the future. 

 

After saying that, the gas mask man goes to the monitor and activates something and a timer can be seen on the monitor.

 

“The lab will self-destruct in five hours, it's better if we leave.”

 

Sara standing up slowly, she has not moved for a long time. Her leg wobbles and she almost falls down to the floor. Sara's body feels heavy, suddenly a hand grabs her arm to help her stand up.

 

“Let me help you.”

 

“Thank you.”

 

Sara can see two corpses wearing a lab coat, they must be the professor and his assistant. Seeing their rotting faces makes her happy. The suffering Sara endured after taking the drug. She almost tries to kill herself because of the pain.

 

“Do you remember where you are from?”

 

“I come from Hord city.”

 

“Oh, the coastal city.”

 

“Have you gone there?”

 

“No, I am too busy.”

 

While walking, Sara can see more corpses and she doesn’t see other people.  

 

“Where is your group?”

 

“I don’t have a group.”

 

“Are you the one that kills them?”

 

“Yes, let’s go find you some clothes first.”

 

Sara's face flushes as she realizes her clothing only covers her breast and private part. She may not feel cold because of her body condition.

Inside the spaceship Vance is waiting for someone to open the prison door. After waiting for a long time, nobody came to get him.

 

“I am tired of waiting.” Vance takes off the handcuff and touches her hand on the door, a few minutes later the door opens automatically.

 

Inside his hand is a device that can’t be detected. With this device he can escape anytime he wants.    

 

Vance began to walk out of the room and headed to the spaceship cockpit. Along the way he sees nobody inside the spaceship. Entering the cockpit, nobody is here, he decided to go outside but first he went to find a weapon.

 

After Vance finds an assault rifle, he goes out of the spaceship. Looking at the open metal door of the underground lab he decided to enter. At first he wanted to steal the spaceship but the spaceship might have a tracking device so it was useless to steal it now. It is better if he kills the people here first to delay them for noticing he has escaped. 

 

Vance saw a lot of corpses, suddenly he heard footsteps and was ready to fire. Seeing someone coming out from a corner. Without hesitation he opens fire.

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”   

 

Vance's eyes went wide because the bullets stopped in midair and fell to the ground.

 

I look at the person that shot me. From the man's clothes he doesn’t look like in the same group that has come here before. After advancing to adept rank mage my telekinesis has grown stronger. With this I have another protection from any attack. 

 

“Who are you? answer before I kill you.”

 

Vance quickly calms down, he is a top spy and has a lot of experience on handling people.

 

“My name is Vance, I have been kidnapped and brought here.”

 

“Oh, you don’t need to worry everybody inside here has died, except for us. It's better if we get out of here this place is going to explode soon.”

 

“What we need to hurry.”

 

“Wait, before that.” I raise my hand.

 

“Yes?” Vance looks at the gas mask man and a black hair woman with reptile skin. The woman must be a Lizardman alien species. Although she looks slightly different.

 

Suddenly Vance feels a strong force and blows him away to the wall. “Ahhh.” After hitting the wall, he falls down to the floor.

 

“That is a payback for shooting me, let’s go.” I walk past Vance and Sara follows behind me.

Vance, after the shock, slowly stands up. He can’t blame the gas mask man; he is the one that shoots first. He is fortunate that the gas mask man doesn’t kill him. He has seen many weird things and is not that surprised with the gas mask man attack.

 

Walking outside the underground lab, I take off my gas mask and a deep breath. I am not worried about revealing my face because I am already wearing my human face mask.

 

Right now my face looks like a middle aged man, even without the human face mask. I am already an adept rank assassin and can use transfiguration skills to change my face. Mages stored their energy in the brain, and assassins in the heart. With this I can move freely on this planet.

 

Now I have a way to advance other than absorbing vital energy. I need to search for creatures or blood that have strong vital energy.

 

‘Should I leave this planet?’ I look at the sky and shake my head. It’s not the right time for me to leave. 

 

Now I need to find my camping bag. Sara without saying anything follow me. She knows her situation is better if she doesn’t say anything. That can cause the man that saved her to get angry.

 

“Wait!”

 

I stop and see the middle aged man running toward me.

 

“How about we use the spaceship, don't worry, I know how to fly it.”

 

“I am sure they have a tracking device on it.”

 

“Don’t worry since the man here is already dead, I have a way to disable it.”

 

“Okay.” I don’t worry if it was a trap, if I sense anything wrong I will kill him. It’s time for me to go home.

 

Five hour later. “Kaboom!” The secret underground lab exploded.

Planet Xeater. The Human Federation and Alien species called the Engers are having a war. The Engers look like humanoid creatures with fins between their fingers and Toes. Engers are the same as humans, they also have advanced technology to conquer other planets.

 

Right now they are fighting for resources on planet Xeater for Coaxium material. This material is the reason humanity and other species manages to travel across multiple galaxy. For the Planet Xeater native they have no way to win against two superpower species.

 

On the planet Xeater, a spaceship fleet is chasing one spaceship. “Prepare to evade and launch the plasma torpedo!” A middle aged woman with black short hair shouted.

 

“Yes captain!” The spaceship manages to evade the laser cannon attack from the enemy spaceship. At the same time the plasma torpedo hit the enemy spaceship hull. The hull explodes causing the nearest enemy spaceship to fly far away from the explosion.

 

“Captain, the reinforcement has arrived.” After saying that, Multiple spaceships arrive to fight the enemy spaceships.

 

“Those Federation bastards, why are they late?”

 

“Captain, there is a transmission from the Federation spaceship.”

 

“Open the transmission.”

 

On the monitor there is a man with a full beard. “Captain Lydia, sorry for being late. We have been intercepted by the enemy fleet.”

 

“Fine, everybody wipes out the enemy fleet.”

 

After that the remaining enemy fleet retreated. Everyone inside Death smiles mercenary spaceship smiles and cheer. Because this time they almost died.

 

“After this is over, I want to go see Daisy and little Levi. I am exhausted.”

 

The same man appears on the monitor screen. “Thank you for your help. The money will be transferred by today.”

 

“Okay.” Closing the transmission. Lydia stood up from her seat and spoke. “Return to the Federation base.”

 

The Human Federation and Engers, have built their base on the planet. At first both species will share the Coaxium on the planet. However soon they found out there is only one mine belonging to the Human Federation that can been mine for hundreds of years. The rest will be depleted in a few or several years. 

 

After failed negotiation, both of them are at war with each other. The one that suffers the most are the planet native called the Brukzel. They have a face like an octopus.

Inside a lab several Brukzel are having an argument.

 

“Professor, we should stop.”

 

“It's already too late, since they want to destroy our planet. We shall make the suffer.”

 

“But the virus not only will kill them, but will also affect our species.”

 

“Do you think I don’t know; I must have revenge for my family.”

 

“Enough!” An old Brukzel enters the lab in a wheelchair and being pushed by a lean Brukzel.

 

Several Brukzel bow down their body in respect.

 

“Release the virus, after several months. When the virus spreads it will be too late for them and us.”

 

“Leader, we will be a sinner for our species.” The Brukzel eyes become teary.

 

“I know, if there is hell, we all will be in it.” After being pushed into the corner, the Brukzel decided to use a biological weapon to fight.

 

Few days later, a group of Brukzel after being injected with the virus. Enter the Human and Engers territory at the same time.
