'Lock them in,' My thinking spat out, lock them in and they would be out of the way.
If it had been the original group then no problem but we had swelled to ten, that many can't hide.
So the only option left? Escape. How? The tugs had marked the perimeter. There was no wide enough tunnel system underneath—no way to escape underground. Only one way left, the roof, we could get airlifted out. If not by the police then the heroes.
"Let's go the roof," My words came but following them a shout rang out, "Search the room!" Shit, they were here. I had wasted time thinking, not acting. F*ck. I cursed as Prince pointed to the other end of the hallway, "Two men, armed."
We were out of time, we couldn't run they would see us and if the rumors were true, gun us down.
"Barricade the door," I said to the sight of Prince hurriedly closing the door, thankfully he was quiet.
"AK-47s," He whispered. One round of that would put me in the ground for good.
They got to work, silently, they understood the danger they were in. Surprisingly.
I too got busy, flipping over a desk and jamming the broad end of my nail scrapper into the screws of one the fixed less, it could be another weapon. The screw came loose, easy enough. Ripping out the leg it was round at the edges, not ideal, pulling out my paper cutter I ground it against the edge managing to get a bite in, using it I forced the blade deeper. The end result—a torn-up, crude metal leg that would defiantly leave a nasty gash.
Turning around I could see the door was hidden beneath a pile of chairs and desks. And copying me those who could, had started to work on ripping out legs from what they could.
'We' could probably mob one or two thugs without 'us' all dying.
Still, a backup in case they break through— Forcing me out of my thoughts, a sudden banging on the door, suddenly I was thankful that there were no windows in the concrete wall.

"We know you shits are in there! Open the fucking door before I put holes in it!" At his words a deafening silence took hold of the room, we all shared gazes but no one dared to make a sound.
Tearing through the silence, a thunder clap, a thin flash ringed past Dina's head, "GOD!" She screamed as she tumbled on the floor, she was shivering like the worst hypothermia. And in almost an instant, the mob of students that had been arming itself disintegrated into a mass of kids running to the edges of the wall. Screaming up pandemonium.
I moved, hugging Dina and dragging her body to the door's side. She still trembled in my arms as my eyes glanced at my reflection forming off Dina's tightly clenched phone, and suddenly I felt glad at having ripped the camera out—this face of mine, this distorted expression of glee, I looked like a genuine psycho. I loved that look of fear. Fuck.

The gun Levi had cycled his chamber thirty times before he let his finger off the trigger, "Those little shirts!" His tongue ran with a mind of its own as he looked over his side, Nifil was there, who had an equally bitter expression, "That crazy bitch is going to eat us alive," He said.
"Fuck, at least these little cunts can't go anywhere, I will keep guard here. They have to come out sooner or later. That is unless they can jump a few floors and not die," He scoffed as he leaned back against the wall.
"This whole plan is stupid, scuffed. What does that bitch think is going to happen after this?" Levi wanted to walk up to her and just her out of her misery. She was going to get them all killed one day but she—no he, Joker knew where he lived, where his family lived. So he swallowed it all in.
"And what would that be?" Nifil's bitter smile was gone, that mocking smug look on his face made Levi want to punch his face. He was probably making fun of his intelligence inside that trash heap he liked to call a brain.
Levi wanted to tell him that he was not being as silent as he thought but he remembered how that ended the last time—a black eye and a broken nose—it truly was a close fight that was, "Who do think study in this 'castle', rich and elite fucks, who do you think their parents will react?" Not well he imagined, at least his balaclava kept his face from the eyes of the cameras, not that it would matter when they burn the storage hardware, "We will be fucked if our faces get out. And all for what? To be bait away the Bat?"
"So, what? We all have police records anyway. And we get to stick it those stuck-up fucks while we go down, my life for killing their child? I would make that deal any day. Hearing him Levi sneered, "You don't have a family, you won't understand Nifil."
A flash of anger passed through Nifil's eyes, but he blinked it down, "I had a father, Levi. Ran over by a rich fuck when I was twelve. You know we abuse the system but we aren't alone. That fuck. Guess what our system did? Nothing. He walked away free just with a lighter wallet."
Levi scoffed, it's a common sob story. More common than it should be really. He sighed, they were here as Bait, with a capital b, to give the Joker some breathing space, and leading them was none other than his fleshlight, Harley. This is just going to be fucking great.
