Chapter 27: CHAPTER 27: Hospital Rest

"Man, why did you do that? But you are very lucky that I saw you. If not....", John was talking to Harvey who was unconscious.

Harvey was in a coma after what he had done in his room. On that day, John visited him in his room and brought food. When John opened his door, he saw the man tying his neck to the curtain. John had no time so he quickly call the hospital. There he also saw Mickey who was also in a deep sleep but Harvey wasn't on his bed. John removed Harvey from that curtain and then he quickly gave him first aid while waiting for the ambulance. John also checked Zion in Harvey's bedroom and there the man was also lying down. His thoughts were filled with worries after he witnessed Harvey do that thing. He also felt guilty after it seemed he hadn't advised his friend.

After a while, the ambulance already came and the other tenants were awakened. They peeked at their doors to know what had happened. John quickly told the ambulance personnel to carry Harvey immediately to the hospital. The tenants saw Harvey so their eyes widened. One of the tenants came out from his door and asked the other, "What happened

to that young man?". The other replied, "I don't know."

John quickly went to his room to change and didn't spare any look at the tenants while passing each door. He needed to hurry to check Harvey's situation. The tenants watched John who was in hurry. They wanted to ask but the man was rushing away. One of the tenants speculated, "I think that man was committing." The owner of the apartment also went upstairs to check the noises

when she met the ambulance personnel carrying Harvey. That seductive old lady, approached the tenants who were peeking at his door and asked, "What happened to that man?". The tenants' glared at the old lady and each of them quickly closed the doors.

The old lady was left speechless and was being insulted so she shouted in the hallway, "I will kick you all out here." The sound outside can be heard so the man who was already inside screamed too, "Kick us out! You will suffer bankruptcy. You can no longer sustain your boyfriends." The old lady heard it then she knocked at the door where the man was talking but nobody opened her. So, she decided to walk away and ignore the people upstairs anymore.

It was already morning and Harvey was admitted to the hospital. He was still unconscious. John was there taking a nap beside the hospital bed after watching Harvey last night. Mickey also visited the hospital. He saw John who was sleeping so he patted the man's shoulder. John was awakened and stared at Mickey.

Mickey asked, "Is he already okay?"

John who was still in a daze answered with a hoarse voice, "Yes, he is already okay. Why is he committing, what is his problem?"

Mickey wasn't knowledgeable about what happened to Harvey so he asked to verify, "What happened to him? I ask the tenants but they had no answers. So, can you tell me about it?"

"You were that sleeper, huh? My friend was facing death then you are sleeping.", John replied and rolled his eyes.

Mickey saw him rolling his eyes so he defended, "It was night. It was a time to sleep."

John was insulted so he interjected, "What do you mean? You really unaware what Harvey's problem, huh?"

Mickey lowered his head and reflected on his reply then, "I really know his problem. But, I can't help to solve it." Mickey unconsciously scratched his head.

"He wanted to die by using that fucking curtain. I think you two people, really his problems.", John uttered while pouring water into the cup.

"I can't understand what you mean. You wanted to say that we are his problems?", Mickey was confused.

"Yes, you two, you and that Zion.", John said those words directly.

Mickey quirked his brows then ignored John. He came towards Harvey who was still lying on the bed and still in a coma. John stared at him intentionally when Mickey was no longer paying attention to him. So, he stood up and walked outside the room. John took a sit on the bench in front of Harvey's room and he was thinking there. He thought that after Harvey met Zion, the man was already in despair. He even remembered before that Harvey was antisocial but when he got drunk, his mouth will always blab. But now, Harvey was no longer in his peaceful life. John also suffered after meeting the white hole. He had no problems in his life but then he suffered from Harvey's problem. Harvey was his only friend in the city. So, he needed to support the man at all times.

Mickey went out of the room while calling John, "Mister. Mister. Harvey was already awake." John was taken aback and livened up inside. He saw Harvey who was still blank, and he uttered, "Harvey. Are you okay, now?"

Harvey blinked his eyes and turned his head away. Mickey and John were surprised after Harvey ignored them. So, Mickey repeated, "Harvey. Are you alright?".

Harvey was speechless and he just stared at them with a blank expression. He was similarly a soulless man. John looked at him with a confused face so he touched Harvey's hand, and then he pressed a question, "Harvey. Is your body okay?"

"Who are you?", Harvey asked blankly and then stared at John.

"I am John. Your friend.", John told him.

"I can't see you. Where are you?", Harvey blinked his eyes and then uttered.

Mickey was surprised after he heard Harvey saying that he can't see. He already knew this thing, it was all about the netherworld. If he blurted it in front of John, this man will be suspicious so he just shut his mouth. Mickey waved his hand in front of Harvey's face and then he asked, "Do you see this?". John quirked his brows when Mickey did that thing. "I can check his eyes. Don't waste your time."

"Why my eyes weren't seeing everything?", Harvey asked and he wept silently.

"It's alright. You can gain sight again.", John comforted Harvey. But, deep in his heart, he can't assure that Harvey's eyes will be alright again.

Mickey watched John who was checking Harvey's eyes. He observed him and then quickly declared, "Bring him back to our apartment. He is very alright now. I can treat him with  my method."

"What? He still needs to rest here. How you can treat him in your own way? Are you engaged in alchemy?", John asked seriously.

"Can't tell you. I need him back. The other person was waiting for him there.", Mickey replied.

"Who? That Zion? Where is he when Harvey was on the brink of death, huh? Do you know, he was just there in deep sleep."

Mickey fixed his jacket and then retorted, "You don't know what is happening so shut your mouth."

John was offended so he clenched his fist and then spouted, "You're the one to shut your mouth. I am his friend and you were just strangers. So, put your pride in the right place."

"Really, we are strangers, huh? Then I would tell you. Yeah, we are unknown people so what? We are here to protect him. Put that in your mind that we are here to protect him. Don't just easily blame us.", Mickey was angered.

Harvey who was silent, screamed, "Quiet! My ears hurt. I need to rest. Continue fighting outside." The two shut their mouths after, then they just glared and ignored each other.
