When he was finally in his body, Kaan saw that Dean was supporting him to stand. When Kaan look at him he saw, just for one second, him as his vision.

'That is really fucked up.'

Kaan was sure he was in not in his right mind. Many things were happening at the same time and it was bringing a toll on his body and his mind.

"What's happening both of you?"

Thar said with a grim face, not knowing what to do or having any idea what was going on.

"Are you all right, Kaan?"

Dean also asked with concern but Kaan was not listening to any of them. His trembling hand reached where the wound was in his vision. He took deep breaths, reminding him that it was only a vision and he was alive; very, very alive.

'All right, I am okay. We need to move.'

His mind was recovering quickly but his body was still affected by the weird coldness pierced. Saying that he was okay was just a lie to himself.

He straightened himself causing the hands of Dean to leave his body and then quickly supported Emily, which was paler now.

"It's coming, we need to go."

She whispered barely though she was able to convey the seriousness of her voice even in this state for them, she really might be suitable to be a leader.

"I know, you just try to recover. We need you."

Kaan answered him, he didn't know what was causing her to be like this but they needed her right now. Seeing the awareness along with the strange deepness in his eyes felt like she could finally relax knowing that there was someone else who knew the seriousness of the situation.

"Quickly, we need to hide."

Kaan said without hiding the urgency in his voice, pointing to the nearest apartment complex. Thar didn't know what was happening or what he should he do, but seeing the look of relaxation on Emily's face with the words coming from the Kaan; he decided to follow without asking anything.

Dean was already trusting Kaan pretty much so he followed his words without any doubt.

They quickly headed to the building and when they reached the entrance a twisted howl echoed in the street. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw the infected werewolf sniffing the air with an open mouth, showing its sharp teeth in its decaying mouth.

"What the fuck is that?"

Dean said as he was not able to hide his shock as he looked at the monster.

"Let's go inside first, I'll tell you about it."

Kaan said and moved to the door of the apartment every passing minute he felt his body get colder, like telling him that death is getting closer.

'Nice, an electronic lock.'

He looked at the lock on the gate and thought about what they should do but then Thar punched the metal door with his bare hand as his muscles expanded causing the lock to collapse inwards.

Thar opened the broken door and they headed into the apartment. When they walked in Emily was already recovered enough to walk by herself.

"Let's head..."

Kaan's words were interrupted.

"Wait for a second Kaan, will you tell us what's happening, why are we running away?"

Thar asked, he didn't like how things were going.

"It's dangerous, that's why."

Emily answered him.

"Why it's dangerous? We can handle it together."

"It's not the same Thar."

"How it's not the same? it's just a little bigger, you don't have to worry I can handle it if you support me enough."

"No you can't, we can't, do you think we would run if we could?"

"If one of you said what was happening right now, maybe I could understand!"

Thar answered raising his voice but then he felt bad and sighed as he turned away. Emily just watched him with an indifferent face.

'We don't have time for this, I need to know what we are capable of.'

Kaan decided what he should do. He put off his mask and looked them in the face, he didn't want his face to be under a mask while he was gonna say the things he was about to say.

"I need all of you to trust me and listen to me right now. Let's have a talk when we are in a better place but, please, trust me and listen to me for now or we all gonna die."

His tone was flat and his words were not felt good. He wanted to say better things, the things that would make them affect him, but the coldness surrounding his body was making him more pressured and down as the seconds passed. After saying these things he put on his mask and looked at the faces of his team. Even if his tone was flat it looked like the message he wanted to give had reached in some way.

"I do trust you Kaan, we do trust you, right?"

Emily said looking at the Dean and Thar.

Dean nodded his head without hesitation and Thar looked Kaan in the eyes.

"I have trusted you from the beginning. It's just… sorry."

Thar said to Kaan with a serious yet friendly face and then turned to Emily, Kaan was not sure what this look conveyed but he knew Thar was regretting throwing a fit.

"No, you were right, we need to talk about things but it's not the right time. We need to get to the second floor quickly."

Kaan already got a plan in his mind but first, he wanted to hear how many abilities the others have. When he asked about it the things were not very good-looking. Dean only got a weapon mastery skill, Thar had a skill that makes him stronger and Emily had a skill similar to telekinesis and another skill that makes her aware of the danger in the same situations. Kaan also talked about his skill, also added that he couldn't use it anymore for today.

'We do not lack damage but we don't have any defence of utility skills other than Emily.'

Being in this situation Kaan felt that he need a variety of skills if he wanted to survive situations like this. Being strong was not important if they didn't have a chance to use that strength.

When they got to the second floor he talked to them about everything he knew about the infected werewolf. He was able to see the curious eyes but none of them asked questions.

'Now the only thing left is the plan.'

He had already created a plan, he was thinking about it from the moment he saw the monster fighting with Thar and when they entered the building he completed it.

The apartment complex had two ways to go up, the elevator and the stairs. It had long corridors which contained many small rooms for tenants on each side of the corridor and the corridors were only on the right side of the building, the left of the stairs was just a wall.

The plan was simple. Dean was gonna wait on the third floor while Kaan dragged the infected werewolf to the Thar waiting in the middle of the second floor; he would hold him until Emily, who was located at the end of the second floor, used her powers to create holes in the floor and trap him creating the best condition for Dean to hit the critical damage.

Kaan also had a plan about fighting head-to-head with the werewolf if Emily was able to use her powers on him but the werewolf didn't have anything on him that she could inflict her power, also she was not in her peak condition right now so he decided to go with the first plan.

He knew that it was not a perfect plan but it was what he had and everyone agreed on it. Not long after everyone got into their position they heard the door on the entrance flying open as something began to come up.

Kaan lifted his arm in front of Emily.

"Cut it."

He said with confidence.

"What?"

"I said cut it, the werewolf relies too much on its nose; this is the best way to lure him. Everything would be ruined if it headed to Dean."

He said without breaking his posture. Emily looked a little bit uncertain for a while but then put out her small knife and quickly open a horizontal wound which was enough for blood to spill to the ground from his arm.

'Damn it, It hurts more than I thought.'

Even though he looked confident about his decision, inside he didn't want to do anything like that. He didn't like the pain but he was the one who would do the least work in this plan so he should at least be able to do at least this much. He felt the wound pulsating and burning and quickly ran towards the stairs without wasting time.

Blood started to drip down the staircase and in seconds the infected werewolf twisted head appeared on the staircase looking at Kaan in a distorted way.

Kaan would be a liar if he say he wasn't scared by this. Its unnatural movements and its open mouth where the black saliva was oozing out made the werewolf look as if it was smiling, and it terrified the Kaan, reminding him that was the monster that killed every one of them. He felt the adrenalin pumping in his body as his heart beat like crazy and the coldness in his soul continued the increase.

'We're starting.'

Seeing the werewolf, Kaan quickly dashed towards the Thar without looking back. He heard a growl behind him as the werewolf quickly descend the stairs and followed behind Kaan.

'Good, follow me to your death.'

Even without looking Kaan could feel that it was getting closer to him but he was not worried because he had already reached Thar.

Thar raised the baseball bat and his arm-muscles expanded, this time his shirt was torn apart by his muscles as he tightly clenched the base of the bat. When the werewolf came into the range while following Kaan like it's found a bone, Thar gave him a good hit with everything he had.

By the power of the hit the werewolf was driven away to the back but the werewolf quickly regained its balance as its claws stretched the floor.

The werewolf's right chest was broken and collapsed inwards by the impact but it showed no emotion or importance about it. He just sniffed the air for a while to find who did this and then growled towards Thar.

"Yeah, come here you little puppy. I'll teach you how to catch a bat."

Thar said once again and getting ready for the werewolf. Werewolf lunged towards him fastly, his sharp claws moving to kill but Thar was able to hold him while fighting head-to-head.

The first part of the plan was a success but they could not relax. Kaan held his sword and got ready for any situation they might need him and watched Emily who was now on her knees as she watched the fight between the werewolf and Thar carefully.

She waited for the right moment, and she contracted as hard as she could cause there was no other chance; she need to handle it in the first shot. As Thar was fighting the werewolf, the werewolf hold them both with both of his hands and Thar also did the same to hold him off. As they were trying to take superiority the werewolf tried to bite Thar but he avoided it by just a few centimetres.

'Now! It's the best it'll get.'

Emily wouldn't let go of this opportunity and used her powers to the limits. The ground under the werewolf shook and in the second two holes appeared under his legs. As the werewolf was falling into the holes Thar saved the bat from its grip.

"Dean NOW!'

Kaan shouted to the staircase and Dean started to run towards the stuck werewolf.

The werewolf was trying to save his legs from the hole but Thar was not giving him a chance to do that as he continued to attack with a baseball bat, keeping the werewolf's hands busy.

Dean was holding one sword now with both of his hands. He knew that he had an important role and he wanted to do his best. He shouted as his sword headed to the Werewolf's head. The sword pierced his neck but was not able to cut it off. Dean didn't let go of his cool and quickly withdraw his sword to hit the same spot once again.

The werewolf tried to turn around to stop Dean but he was not able to move and also Thar was not giving him an opportunity.

'Yes, we'll overcome it, together.'

He thought like this but he couldn't relax, the cold was not leaving his side nor its subsidising. The chilling feeling was reminding of him death was still near, like saying that it was their fate. Kaan remembered how his vision self felt as he looked at the dead body of his team members. He didn't want to have these feelings, he was going to make sure that he was not going to have them.

When was Dean attacking the second time the werewolf started to hit the floor, he didn't mind the attacks that coming from the Thar anymore and tried to twist his body to reach Dean.

'No, I will not let you!'

He said to himself as he realized what was about to happen and but he didn't have anything he could do so he at least tried to reach Thar but he was also too late for it, he couldn't do anything to stop them. When Dean's second attack landed, suddenly the floor shook and everything happened in seconds. The ground under the werewolf, Dean and Thar collapsed and they fell to the first floor, leaving only dust could behind.
