The second floor was in a mess but they didn't mind it much as they were finally able to catch their breath. Under the light of the flashlights and the moon, no one talked too much and just asked if they needed anything from each other. They started eating a few things as they were resting. Thar opened the whiskey and pour himself a cup.

"Would you like to?"

He asked extending the drink towards the air for everyone. Kaan and Emily decided not to drink so they drink Thar drink it together with Dean. Emily warned them about not getting drunk.

After the madness had started it was the first time they could relax and they wanted to put it to good use.

Kaan rested his head on the wall and looked outside from the window at the end of the corridor. The full moon's light was piercing the darkness of the evening.  He was able to see the shades of the clouds. He rested his eyes listening to the talk between Thar and Dean about the whiskeys.

He decided to check his system tab once again to use his ability point.

Save ten people. 10/1 Rewards: Draw a card +1

He had already known the 'Mind of the Chaos' trait and kind of understood where that was coming from. He was one of the people who always thought about the worst situations. He wasn't fond of this habit of his but it turned out to be something useful in the end. He wasn't sure how this 'Trait' system was really working but if it created a trait out of his habits could it also create another trait? He needed to test it.

After that, he once again used his ability point on the fire bolt and upgraded its fire properties to the fourth level. He was thinking that there should be a limit on how much he could upgrade his skill and after hitting that limit on 'A fire should burn' he was thinking about using his ability points on 'A better shot' and improving the aim of the fire bolt.

He thought that size was the least important thing between the three upgrade choices.'A fire should burn' was directly increasing the damage while 'A better shot' was providing control on the fire bolt and 'A bigger threat' was only increasing its size.

Kaan only had three usage rights per day for this skill and he thought he would use this skill when he needed to kill a person or a strong monster. It already had enough damage and with the increase in the control, he could easily hit the vital points for critical damage.

When he chose the upgrade, the time once again slow down and the card appeared on him. The back of the card, the man whose holding a fire bolt on a mountain, suddenly closed and the blood-crying eye returned back as five options appeared to him. It was different from the regular upgrade tab, as it clearly stated it was a choice of the path now.

The two paths connected with the other upgrades and their own paths were closed for now. The only path he could take was the Enhanced Fire Bolt.

He thought if he should wait before taking the Enchanted Fire Bolt. He would be a liar if he didn't want to know what was the other paths, especially the connected ones but decided to choose the Enchanted Fire Bolt. He didn't know how long it would take him to raise them to max upgrade level and he needed power now.

When he chose the enchanted Fire bolt another two options appeared in front of him.

-Fire Sea: After the fire bolt stopped moving it releases in a radius.

-Explosive: After the fire bolt stopped moving it creates an explosion.

Both options looked good, so it take a while for Kaan to choose but in the end, he made up his mind on the Fire Sea. The option Explosive was good for unexpected damage but he wanted some area control and Fire Sea could provide him with that.

When he made his choice the closed bloody eye was once again opened and then A figure holding a fire bolt and surrounded by flames appeared on the back of the card and the card disappeared. Kaan hoped he wouldn't be regretting his decision in the future.

Now that he saw that skills can get additional futures he once again remembered how dangerous people can be, they need to be more careful while fighting with people in the future.

When the time returned to its normal state he heard the Thar cleaning his throat to drag the attention himself, Kaan closed the system tab and looked at him. Thar had a light blush on his face and the whiskey bottle was empty more than half, considering Dean looked not affected Thar must have been the one drunk the most of it.

"Will you know talk about what happened to the two of you?"

Thar first looked at Emily and then at Kaan with curious eyes, he had been waiting for a while to ask this question.

"I have a skill that lets me see my own death, That's how I was able to know how strong the werewolf was."

Kaan talked first without waiting. He was thinking of hiding this but then he thought why the hell should he? But, of course, he kept some of the information to himself.

"I also have a skill that makes me aware of the danger, I've sensed a werewolf was coming that way I was saying that we should escape."

Kaan saw that Thar had many questions but Emily didn't give him time to ask those questions and quickly spoke after him.

Thar looked at both of them and sighed at their not very explaining answers.

'One sees his own death and the other feels the danger?'

Thar knew these kinds of powers had to have some kind of drawback but if they didn't want to tell him he was just going to wait until they were ready to tell them.

"Have you made a deal?"

Now that they have to talk about these things Kaan wanted to ask everything that he had in his mind.

"Yes, I did. It was what gave me thing power of the sense the danger. That's why you must have asked about it right?"

Emily answered him like she was waiting for him to ask this question. Kaan nodded to her question.

"What about you? Is the power of seeing your own death come from a powerful entity?"

Like how Kaan speculated about her power it was same for the Emily.

"No, it doesn't but I also get an offer from a 'higher being' tho it was kind of stupid and arrogant. It tried to enforce me to sign a contract but of course, I did not. It appeared to me in darkness as a red eye in my dream, how could I believe it?"

Kaan smiled thinking how stupid it was.

"What about you? How did the thing appear to you?"

"It was an angel or at least this is what I think it was. I was in a garden full of white roses and there was a greenhouse in the middle of the garden. As I was walking towards the greenhouse suddenly a being three meters with six wings appeared in front of me. It was wearing a white dress and radiating a blue light around it. The thing that terrified me was, it was faceless yet my fear quickly disappeared as a feeling touched me."

She suddenly stopped for a while thinking about how she should interpret it.

"I would say it felt holy but it was also kind of different. It was warm but not like the warmth you feel when you hug your mother but when you finally overcome something you were struggling with for a while. It was not calming, it just felt too strong when you were in its presence you didn't have to worry about anything. It was that kind of holiness."

Emily remembered how it felt like to be in its presence once more, she felt just too small compared to the presence that was once in front of her yet it felt very nice. It was truly a strange experience. She didn't tell them but that being said it will be watching her and will help her when she was ready to accept it.

She didn't know what kind of 'help' was gonna come from this entity, she was not fully trusting this entity even though her mind wanted to do. It was because what this entity offered her was a contract, it was a help but exchange and that was what created doubt in her mind about its intentions.

"Hey, wait a second. What are you talking about now?"

Thar joined the conversation once again, it was obvious he was not being able to keep up with these new pieces of information.

"Supporters."

Kaan simply answered his question but it didn't ring a bell for Thar.

"What do you mean by supporters? You were talking about angels and higher…"

He stopped in the middle of his sentence. His eyes opened wide as he came to the realization.

"Yep, they are the ones who'll 'support' us. The gods, angels, demons or whatever strong creatures, they are a part of the system or at least that is what I'm thinking."

Thar looked surprised by Kaan's words but then he looked absent. he began to think about the thing he heard.

'It looks like it's time to talk about the system now.'

Kaan thought as he looked at Dean and Thar who have been dealing with this new reality.
