In his dreams, he once again found himself in the darkness. Kaan had no vision but he had his sense of touch and he could the wind. It felt relaxing, embracing but then suddenly he heard some voices, sounding like coming from far away, in his mind. The voices were faint at the beginning but then they got louder and louder and turned into a high-pitched screams.

Kaan felt something begin to touch his throat and then it began to strangle him. He tried to do something, he wanted to stop it but he couldn't do it. He felt that he was beginning to sıuffocate and the pain in his throat was making him cry. He wanted to scream along with the high-pitched voice but he couldn't do that as well.

As the air in his lungs died out he felt his life pass away just like that, in silent agony and he found himself in the forest. It took a while for him to come to his senses and he realized he was in a vision.

'Is it how it'll be until I really die?'

He felt miserable, he would say he didn't want to go through this but if it'll help him to survive he had to endure it, he didn't have any other choice, to begin with.

In his vision, he saw that many people were around a woman lying on the ground. She had beautiful facial features and long brown hair. She was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Her clothes were mostly ripped and misplaced. The most important thing was that her head was torn apart from his body with a price cut on her throat because it was still sticking to his upper body other than this injury there were also many injured parts on her body. She had a weird peaceful experience like she was happy that finally, everything was over.

Kaan saw Oscar begin to cover her with a white sheet. Emily and Thar were next to him along with a few people. All of them were looking at the white sheets with mournful eyes. Emily had a resentful look on her face, she felt particularly sad about this situation. Kaan also saw that rough-faced soldier talking with his sturdy voice to a few people with vicious expressions on his face.

It was not hard to understand what happened to her, he already understood already what he had to know from the thoughts of his vision self. The thing that made Kaan feel strange was that woman he had never seen, seemed like someone he knew.

As his vision self began to walk towards Emily and Thar, Kaan's vision began to distort and in seconds he woke up. He was breathing heavily, he felt the beads of sweat dripping from his forehead. He saw that Emily and Thar sleeping together peacefully near him and Dean, who had a bright expression on his face, was sleeping on the other side of the log he was sleeping. He saw that he had a blue sheet on him, someone must have put it on him when he was sleeping, he lightly pulled it away.

He had a weight on his heart and he knew what it was caused by, the dream and how he strangled to death were still vivid in his mind. He looked around and saw many of the people were in their tents and the other were sleeping like them. Some people were of course patrolling around. He quickly got up and grabbed his sword. He didn't know if he will be able to find her on time but he must have had some time at least.

He got up and looked around, he didn't know which way he should go but he decided to believe in his instincts and headed towards the east side of the forest. At first, he was walking fastly but then he began to run. He felt that his body began to navigate itself to the destination he wanted to go.

After a few minutes of running, he heard some voices coming from the west and quickly headed that way stealthily.

Kaan saw a man holding the woman he saw in his vision. One of his hands was on her throat, nearly choking her, preventing her from making any noise and the other was stripping her from her clothes. The woman was trying to save herself but simply couldn't escape from him.

Kaan was thinking if he really wanted to get into this mess but he wanted to get rid of this weight inside of him and seeing the desperate look on her face once again made him feel that strange feeling also he had a much basic reason to kill that guy.

'So because of this guy I had to experience being strangled to the death.'

He felt the anger inside of him soar up. He took a deep breath as he slowly walked behind them.

He thought that he could use the fire bolt, but he could end up killing both of them. He also thought maybe he could just slash him but there was also the chance of hurting her in the process if not killing her. So he adjust his sword so that it would not cause trouble and run as fast as he could towards them.

When the rapist realized it was already too late, he tried to use the woman as a meat shield but when he was in range Kaan jumped towards them with his shoulder and made them fall to the ground. He also fell to the ground along with them but quickly put himself together and looked at the man.

The man was looking at him with a very enraged face as he got up from the ground. Kaan looked at the woman who was still on the ground without being able to get up.

"What the fuck are you doing, you asshole? Trying to play the hero, huh?"

The man smiled wickedly, it was not hard to understand that he was angry. He looked at Kaan with killing intent as a blood sword was slowly created in his hand.

"You had to just let that bitch enjoy what he was about the receive. She was about to do her duty as a woman, relieve a real man."

He laughed like he was having fun in this situation.

Kaan was not surprised as he looked at the laughing maniac. It looked like this madness turned him into a rapist or gave him the opportunity to do things he always wanted to do without giving a fuck. He was expecting to encounter people like this. They had already had one in hand, that fucker who was collecting women, and he had a very strict mindset about them.

'Why are they still alive?'

They already had many things in their hands without these worthless beings but now they were trying to create problems. He was someone who didn't want to deal with other people's problems but even he knew that he had to get rid of the trash before it created a messy smell all over.

He didn't give a damn about the words coming out of this trash, he was just thinking that he should get rid of him and continue his path, there was no reason to give a damn about them, they just need to clean them out of the world.

"Why you're not talking? Got scared now after playing the hero, wanna run away now?"

The man shouted as he was getting more enraged. He didn't like the Kaan's piercing eyes looking at him down like he was doing something wrong. He was thinking that everything he did was something that anyone would do and most people didn't even give a fuck what he was doing until now. Just a few people did and he got rid of them when they were not expecting.

He was someone who would survive and someone who deserved to be served, he was the chosen yet as he looked at the man in front of him he felt something chilling feeling on his back and he didn't like it, he wanted to get rid of this man quickly.

As the seconds were passing in the silence the man felt that he was feeling colder and he decided to quickly finish his job here. He needed to return to that devil and give a report about this place.

Kaan looked at the man charging at him with a sword made of blood and raised his sword to block. All of the anger was still visible on the man's face as he was fully focused on killing him. Of course, Kaan was not thinking about having a sword fight, fighting with monsters was one thing but fighting with a man head to head. He was not a sword user, to begin with, he was just gonna use a fire bolt but wanted to use it when it was most likely to succeed in hitting so he didn't break his posture and seemed ready to take him on.

As the man got close he began to shout to have the upper hand in the mental fight and he was partially able to put some fear in Kaan's mind. But there was no need for these tricks because he had already lost the fight.

Suddenly nearly thirty sharp shards appeared in the air behind the man and headed towards the man's face. The man tried to dodge and attack them but he was not fast enough because he was focused on Kaan and didn't wait and attack from behind. Shards delve into the man's face and throat and made him fall to the ground in pain. He shouted for a while but then it was just groans.

Kaan looked at the woman standing on her knees. She was breathing heavily and many emotions were visible on her face but her eyes were full of focus as she controlled the shards piercing the man. When her attack was over she finally finished her arms also fell to the ground and she was standing on fours.

She saw the man moving his hands and instinctively she grabbed the knife when she was attacked by the man and ran towards him. She didn't waste any time and with a hysterical shout, she began to stab the man in the throat again and again.

Kaan saw she began to cry without holding back. Her shoulder began to tremble but she didn't stop. Kaan could see the anger, desperation and vulnerability on her face. It reminded him how he felt when he was strangled to the suffocating in his dream, and helped him to understand and share the hurt her as he watched her get rid of these feelings slowly by defeating them. The night was over and once again fate was changed.
