'I was thinking of leaving by the entrance looking at the street but it's impossible to get rid of these many zombies with just four of us.'
Kaan wanted to leave from this entrance because the dormitory had a wall around it that would make things hard for them even if they left the building but there was no other choice.
"First let's leave this place before it became full of zombies."
Kaan said and they moved to the entrance area of the dormitory. When they on the entrance he could see them stop for a moment because of the tens of bodies lying on the ground on the ground on but they had still expressions on their face other than the black-haired guy.
He looked at the corpses on the ground with a grim face as his eyes quickly moved from body to body.
"Help me with this."
Kaan said to the suit-wearing guy as he moved next to one of the pieces of furniture and dragged it to the cafeteria entrance. The woman also came next to you and helped you carry the furniture, and you placed it.
"What happened here?"
The woman asked and closed her nose with her hand.
"I don't know either."
Kaan answered without explaining much and the woman didn't pry about it and focused on the bodies on the ground. Kaan looked at the entrance. He thought about going outside from there initially but quickly dismissed the idea, it would be waste of time and exhaust them; also, they would have to deal with the zombies.
"Follow me."
Kaan said and moved to one of the corridors heading where the dorm room was located on the first floor. He looked back, and the suit-wearing guy and the woman were following him, but the black-haired guy began to move one of the corpses. All of them stopped and looked at him.
"Hey, what happened?"
The suit-wearing guy asked him, but he didn't answer and moved until he stopped in front of one of the corpses and fell to his knees.
Seeing him as this woman walked towards him, the suit-wearing guy followed her behind. Kaan chose to just watch by leaning against a wall. He was not able to hear them, but he could see that they were trying to comfort the guy.
'He must be from this dormitory.'
Kaan was already thinking about it but seeing him like this made him sure about it.
'He must've seen someone he knew but it's better to stay away for me.'
He thought as he saw the trembling guy. Even if he went there, he didn't have any words that he could say to soothe his pain and he also didn't want to. He just wanted to leave this place quickly, especially this room. It began to suffocate him.
A few minutes later they got up and came next to Kaan. Kaan could see the messy face of the guy and many emotions, it looked like whatever they spoke also affected the other two because their moods looked very low now.
"You're ready to move?"
"Yeah, sorry for this."
He said looking three of them in the eye.
"Hey, don't be hard on yourself."
The suit-wearing guy said as he put his hand on his shoulder and pulled him closer.
"We will find a way out of this, don't we?"
The black-haired guy nodded and put a very easy-to-see fake smile on his face.
"Let's move on then."
Kaan said as he didn't want to experience this gloomy atmosphere much longer and began to walk through the corridor. The woman was next to him as they moved in the front, and the suit-wearing guy along with the black-haired guy at the back walked towards the end of the hall cautiously.
Kaan knew that there was a room that was under renovation. Usually, all the windows on the first floor had metal bars but they shouldn't have it. They could reach the dorm room without a problem and Kaan opened the door, baseball bat ready for action but the room was empty.
All of them moved inside the empty room and Khan headed towards the window. He lifted the curtains and like he remembered it didn't have bars as he remembered. After that, he closed the curtains and turned to the group. He looked at their condition one by one: The woman had lots of zombie blood on his clothes, but she didn't look in a bad condition; the suit-wearing guy was also looking good in shape; the black-haired guy looked exhausted both physically and mentally and his clothes were a mess.

"Let's rest in here before we move out. You could investigate the other dorm rooms for new clothes or anything if you want."
He was in a good condition, but it looked like the best decision. He also needs a little time to think about what to do next.
Everyone sat down and began to deal with their own stuff. Kaan opened the system tab to see what's changed with him levelling up.
…
Level: 2
Abilities: Draw a card (0)(Title skill)
Fire Bolt(Title skill)(Lvl 1) (+)
Remaining ability points: 1
Personal Quest:
Save ten people. 10/1 Rewards: Draw a card +1
He thought there would be more change in the system tab but it was nearly the same. It looked like levelling up didn't have any change on stats and just gave him an ability point.
'If we could not raise our stats there should be another way to raise it, right?'
He then looked at his personal quest. There were remaining 9 people to save now.
'Hm? Why it's just reduced by one?'
He knew that the suit-wearing guy wouldn't be counted as saved, because he could save himself without his help, but what about the two of them?
'Which one of them was able to save itself from there?'
Kaan looked at the black haired-guy in the corner, he was currently resting there his eyes closed, and his overall condition didn't look bad. He looked in a messy state and exhausted but he could probably move on without much problem.
Then Kaan looked at the woman, she was talking with the suit-wearing guy near the door, and her condition was much better than the black-haired guy's; other than then her dirty clothes she looked in a good condition but it could be because the black-haired man was on the vanguard.
He decided to put this subject aside for now and focus on the ability point he gained.
'Whatever, then what should I do with this ability point?'
He could spend it on his 'Fire Bolt' skill, or he could keep it for another skill that he would get.
'I don't know when I will get my new skill, it could be much wiser to keep it for now, but I want to know what will happen when I level up a skill, so it's also for experience.'
Kaan touched the + symbol next to 'Fire Bolt' and then the system tab closed itself and three tabs opened in front of him.
-A bigger threat: It will Raise the radius of the Firebolt.
-A fire should burn: The fire properties of the bolt will increase.
-A better shot: Improves your aim.
'Now that's interesting. Which one would be better to choose? The radius looks good for hunting monsters, increasing fire proprieties probably would increase the damage, and improving aim would probably come in handy in many situations but mostly for killing.'
Kaan thought a little bit then made his choice on increasing the fire proprieties. He wasn't sure how this system of upgrading the skills would work but if he did work as he thought he could create what he needed.
At that moment he felt a strange joy of feeling. He did know, the world turned fucked up by this system, but magic being real? He remembered the time he used the 'Fire Bolt', remembered how it felt. And then sighed.
'Not time to be bewildered by this new reality. Nothing is free.'
If they had been given power like this, it meant that there would be situations that needed to be used and would it be worth risking their lives? Kaan looked at the slowly setting sun behind the curtains and began the think about the future.
